Nowadays, English has become the international standard language. As China is stepping to the internationalization, learning English is more and more important. But many people find it hard to learn English well. According to my own learning experience, I think determination, read English materials and patience are the most significant.

First of all, doing everything needs determination. Determination is a prerequisite to do something. As we know, water is very important to man, we can’t live without water.

The amount of water which is suitable to drink is less and less. But some people

don’t care about it. They waste a lot of water in their daily life. Even worse,

they pour dirty water into rivers. They throw rubbish into rivers, too. Many

rivers and lakes are seriously polluted. Something must be done to stop the

pollution. And I think it’s agreat shame to waste while millions are in great

need of water. I think what we can do is that we have to save every drop of

water as possible as we can. For example, we must turn off the tap immediately

after we use it. We can use a basin to wash our hands and faces. It’s also a

good idea to encourage my friends and family members to join me! Only in this

way can we live happily. If we don’t save water, the last drop of water will be

I have a lovely family and my families live a happy life. My mother is a farmer.She is fat,but she is beautiful.She has big eyes,a small nose and a small mouth.She is very kind and clever, so she has many friends and she is welcome among my neighbours. My father is a worker. He works long time a day and comes home late. He is always tired.But,my mother often cooks delicious dishes for him and that makes him happy and moved. But I remembered clearly that I had read it in a history story, so I answered the question without difficulty and became the only student in our class who answered the question correctly. In my view, its useful to read stories.

Today I have received the highest honour as I obtained full mark and finally beat Xiaoming in the English test.I have been famous for my ability of studying English and eventually I showed my true power today.Those people who are gossiping behind my back should shut up now.

After school,when I went home, I found a hundred dollar notes.Somebody must have been careless and dropped them.Since this is a deserted road,I would not bother returning the money as I had nowhere to go to.

Then,I helped a blind uncle crossing the road.

Leviathan, Or The Whale, traces British author Philip Hoares fascination with the marine mammal, which he calls "a living thing past our comprehension".

As he travels the world in pursuit of the creature, he compares his findings to Herman Melvilles Moby Dick. US journalist Jacob Weisberg, who led the panel, said Hoares passion for his subject was infectious. The authors prose "rises to the condition of literature", he added.

We cant slow down the working hour, but we can control our private time. A

lot of young people mix with working time and private time, so they cant enjoy

My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morningfrom

Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head

teacher says health is themost important thing. After running I have to do

morning exercises on theplayground. Then I can have breakfast. Having breakfast,
