In my early years, I did not see the value of education.

When I was going on thirteen, I started to run my own shop. From then on, I worked hard to become a successful businessman.

One day I realized the importance of the English language in the business world and started taking night classes.

I was able to communicate well with foreign customers after two years of English study. But I started to feel that, in the long run, having a limited knowledge of English was not enough to make my business successful. 我的寒假，我的寒假非常有趣。我可以在家里玩电脑和看电视。在寒假里面我还看了一些好书(比如说皮皮鲁)。由于我们学校的重视成绩的计划，让我们很少有课余的时间。也没有机会做自己喜欢做的事情。所以呢，寒假对我来说太好了。可是又快开学了，它的结束意味着另一种生活的开始，我心里有点失落，也有点恐惧。更多的是对新生活的憧憬。渴望快乐。渴望自由。

Last night, my parents told me that they would go to have dinner with

friends, so they wouldn’t stay at home and let me to buy something to eat by

myself. I played computer games for a long time and when I got tired, I found it

was almost eight o’clock. I didn’t want to go out, so I opened the fridge, there

were many stuffs for me to make dinner. I had never done it before, I only

watched my mother cook, but I still wanted to try. I made a fire and put the

meat in the pan, the flavors were also mixed in it. When the meat almost got

black, I finished. Whe I tasted, I realized the meat was over cooked. I must

learn to cook.

Good morning, everyone! my name is lu xin. i am so happy to stand in front

of you to introduce myself. i am thirteen years old. i graduated from the no.1

primary school of our city. i like reading books and playing badminton. i hope

we can take exercises after class. besides, i like watching movies and listening

to pop music. i am sure there are some classmates have the common interests with

me. therefore, we can communicate with each other. in primary school, i did well

in chinese but math is not so good. i hope i can make progress in middle school.
