I seem to recall best a journey we made by tram one winter night.

The computer is a wonderful machine. They are already widely used in industries and in universities. They are used in many ways.

Computerscan do many kinds of work. For example, computers can helps us do maths problems quickly. Some problems are too hard for us to work them out, but computers can. A scientist can ask computers some questions, and the computers can answer on the screen.

In a car-factory computer tells the robots how to do with the cars.

Computers are very useful. So many parents buy computers for their children. So their parents complain about computers not help children to study but also make them fall behind.

Since I went to high school, I have had many annoyances.

In my opinion, the movie “ the pursuit of happyness “ is a eaningful film, the hero of the movie is an active man. Though his life was very hard, his wife left because of the situation of their family, his work was also unfortunate, he never gave up and still work hard, then he took care of his little son. He is going after happiness all the time, so his life is running . Time is very importmant to him, he must finish his task on time , or he wouldn’t live a steady life , he has to pay the rent and taxes and so on, but he insist on taking every chance to make his life live better and he believe in himself. The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the

society. As a college student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than

the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going

to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago.

It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof.

In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage

to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much

more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time

instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. In

addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a

foreign countries, I can simply just drop him an email whenever I can and get a

message from him very quick. It is much better than waiting for letters. Also,

the email will not lose while the letter might be losing in the process of

delivery.

However, there are also disadvantage of using Internet. For example, I

might spend too much time on the Internet to concentrate on my study. Also,

there is a chance that I am cheated because of the Internet purchasing. Last,

Internet has lots of information, both helpful and harmful. There might be too

much tempatation that I will access some of the harmful information I can on the

Internet.

Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to

me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I

can use the Internet very well as long as I know how to control myself.

That was spectacular. Tonight, the world was able to join in a magnificent tribute to the athletes and the Olympic spirit. It was an unforgettable and moving ceremony that celebrated the imagination, originality and energy of the Beijing Games.

We saw 204 national delegations march into the beautiful new National Stadium in the age-old tradition of the Games. Millions of people around the world were able to experience the thrill of seeing their heroes in a sea of team colours and national flags.

We witnessed athletes from these 204 countries and territories united in peace in one place. And for the next 16 days, they will be a part of one of the most thrilling competitions in history. As an Olympian, I can tell you that they will carry this memory with them forever.

This iconic stadium is one of the worlds new wonders. It was a fitting setting for an amazing Opening Ceremony, I look forward to an equally exciting and unforgettable 16 days.

Opening ceremonies have always been a way for host cities to welcome the world and for the world to gather and share the Olympic spirit. Today was the first day of my new life. I looked at my new books and

checked everything for the new school year. I was excited as well as

worried.

Entering new school, I was curious about everything, new classrooms, new

teachers, new classmates etc. It would be a new start for each student. And what

I was worried about is that I had no friends here. I wondered if no liked to

play with me. Were the teachers strict with students?

I fell relaxed when the teacher asked me, What else could I help you,

Today is the annual traditional festival in China, "Spring Festival". The morning sun was still in bed, I was like the sound of firecrackers to wake up.
