i live in a big city. but this summer holiday i want to go to the countryside to relax.

the big city is modern and lively, but there is much noise, pollution, traffic, and the people in it are very busy. i dont like it.

i like to visit nice and quiet countryside far away from the city. i like walking where there are no shops, crowds or the tube. the air is fresh, the water is clean, the trees are green, and the atmosphere is quiet. i can boat in the lake, fish and swim in the river, climb the hills and pick up the fruit.

Since I was a little child, I had a dream that I wanted to be a doctor.

When I was little, I watched many TV series and movies about doctors. I thought

they were so great. Therefore, I made up my mind to be a doctor. In my opinion,

doctor is the people who can help patience get out of sickness and pain.I want

to be the person who can help others. However, being a doctor needs so much

professional knowledge and there is a long way to go. So I have to try my best

on my study and go to a good college.

之后，又从朱自清的散文《匆匆》中感受到了时间的宝贵，老舍先生的《养花》，让我更加热爱生活。罗广斌的《红岩》，让我感受到了强烈的爱国主义精神，从他(她)们的一言一举中激发了我当作家的愿望。

我知道当作家是件很辛苦的事，你要肯下功夫。曾经有人说过：“一代代的作家既是丰碑又是高墙，丰碑可供后人敬仰与追随，高墙又使很多人畏惧和退缩。”当一名作家，必须要有扎实的语文基础，还要多读、多思、多练、多学。其中，还要用心去体验生活和观察生活，这样才能让我的写作水平渐渐提高。

因为有了这样一个梦想激励着我，让我有了动力，才使我的作文水平渐渐地提高了。一开始作文扣了十几分，后来要不然不扣，要扣也只能扣一至四分。当作家的梦想，也丰富了我的课外知识，使我认识了更多爱国的人。其中，让我印象最深的是《红岩》当中，徐云峰、江雪琴、成岗、刘思扬、老大哥、余新江等。他(她)们的行动告诉大家：誓死捍卫自己的祖国，不让祖国落入到敌人的手中。也让我学会了更多的传统美德，让我更加的爱护自己的祖国。

有人说过：“只要向着自己的梦想去努力，梦想就不会落空。”梦想可以让人摔得头破血流，也可以让人茁壮成长，成为祖国的栋梁之才!
