我家有一只小白兔，它叫多多，很调皮，总是要和我闹着玩。它只要知道我在家里，就会“吱吱”地叫着，让我陪它玩。

它身上的毛全是雪白的，眼睛红红的，耳朵大大的，尾巴短短的，嘴巴成三瓣形，真好看！

有一次，我在做作业。突然感到脚边有什么东西在碰我。我吃惊地往下看，呀，是我的小白兔多多！它怎么逃出了笼子来找我玩了。我看到它在我的脚边转着圈蹦蹦跳跳着。我想自己正在做作业，在没有完成作业的时候是不能够去玩的，于是，我不去理它。小白兔看到我没有理它，就跳到我的脚上。我没有办法只好把它捉住说：“小白兔乖，现在我在做作业。等我做好作业就和你去玩，听话！”然后，我把它关在笼子里。这时，我看到小兔子蹲在笼子里显得不高兴。我也只好回去做作业了。我把作业做完就把多多给放了出来。开始，它在地上不动，好像很不开心。于是，我对它说：“刚才我要做作业，没有办法，现在作业做好了，我就和你玩了。”它好像听懂了我说的话，就和我玩了起来。

玩了一会儿，我看到它跟在我后面摇摇耳朵好像在向我讨吃的。于是，我赶紧走出家门去地里挖了一个萝卜。然后，我拿着萝卜回家。它看见萝卜就跳过来，前爪捧住萝卜就津津有味地吃了起来。看着它吃萝卜的样子，我觉得这小白兔更加可爱了。等它吃好萝卜，我又继续和它玩了起来。

奶奶家养过许多小动物，有小狗、小鸡、小猫、小鸭、小鸟，但我最喜欢奶奶家可爱的小白兔了。

这只小白兔非常可爱，浑身像雪一样白，所以我叫它：“小白”。它长着一对长长的耳朵，一双红宝石似的眼睛，非常可爱。

有一天，我想捉弄一下小白，我先把线穿在针上，再拿来一片白菜叶，用针线穿起白菜帮，然后打一个结，把白菜叶偷偷放到小白的窝口旁边。不一会儿，小白闻到了菜香味，轻轻地蹦跳到白菜叶旁边。瞧，它那个小心翼翼又嗅个不停的样子，像是馋透了！

小白刚想咬上去，白菜叶就被我拉回一点。小白再朝白菜叶的方向蹦一下，正想大快朵颐时，我又拽了白菜叶一下，小白疑惑地看着这个会走路的“美味”。小白有点灰心，但并不死心，好像说我非得吃了你不可。反复折腾几次，小白蹲在那不动了，大概是想放弃了。

嘻嘻嘻，我都忍不住轻笑出声来。我不能让小白放弃了，于是就把白菜叶挂到墙壁上的钉子上，离地面有板凳高。我刚要走，小白马上又来了精神，两三下就跳到白菜叶旁，津津有味地吃了起来。等吃完了，又看看我，好像在说，“主人，再给我几片吧。”我算是服了它，真是个吃货。哎，没办法，谁让我的小白这么可爱呢，就再给你几片大白菜叶解解馋吧。

怎么样？奶奶家的小白兔可爱吧！

Its the third Sunday in June again, and its the holiday Ive been looking

forward to for a long time - Fathers Day.

"Mom, what do you want to give grandpa?" I asked my mother, resting my chin

on my hand. After thinking for a moment, Mom said, "Fruit basket!" "Mom, help me

think about what should I give Dad?" "Lets go to the boutique and have a

look."

So, we went to the boutique, and we picked left and right, carefully

selected, and we all felt that these gifts were not very good. "Ah, Dad is a

dog, so give him a puppy!" I suddenly had such an idea.

We walked over to the plastic and found a lifelike puppy which was very

interesting. Furry hair, piercing eyes, and a smiling face make people like him

more and more. I thought to myself: This puppy is cute, thats all.

I bought it, asked the waiter to pack it, and went home happily. When I got

home, I wrote a blessing on a piece of paper and put it by the bed with the

gift.

I discussed it with my mother and came up with a terrifying plan: We hid in

the place where Dad must pass when he entered the room, and when Dad came in, we

would scare him. So we quickly hid. "Dong dong dong..." "Dad is here!" Grandma

stepped forward to open the door, when Dad walked past us. "Wow," we jumped out.

"Ah, scared me to death!" Dad was shaking. A dignified man was frightened by

us, haha! "Mum sneered at Dad.

When Dad walked into the room and found the gift, his eyes were wide open,

and he couldnt help holding me around the living room a few times.

I will never forget this Fathers Day.

I think smiling is as important as sunshine. Smiling is like sunshine

because it can make people happy and have a good day. If you aren’t happy, you

can smile, and then you will feel happy. Someone may say, “But I don’t feel

happy.” Then I would say, “Please smile as you do when you are happy or play

with your friends happily. You will really be happy again.”

You don’t like crying, right? So you must prefer smiling, because you know

smiling will let people forget everything unhappy. Every day, we see teachers or

students and say, “Hi/Hello! How are you?” At the same time, you are smiling,

right?

Smiling can let you have more friends. With a smile, people will know

you’re a kind person. They will talk with you, so you will have more and more

friends.

So I say, smiling is like a flower, the sunshine, warmth. It will give you

happiness.

The Fascinating Moonrise

There is a hill near my home that I often climb at night. The noise of the city is a far-off murmur. In the hush of dark I share the cheerfulness of crickets and the confidence of owls. But it is the drama of the moonrise that I come to see. For that restores in me a quiet and clarity that the city spends too freely.

From this hill I have watched many moons rise. Each one had its own mood. There have been broad, confident harvest moons in autumn; shy, misty moons in spring; lonely, white winter moons rising into the utter silence of an ink-black sky and smoke-smudged orange moons over the dry fields of summer. Each, like fine music, excited my heart and then calmed my soul.

But we, who live indoors, have lost contact with the moon. The glare of street lights and the dust of pollution veil the night sky. Though men have walked on the moon, it grows less familiar. Few of us can say what time the moon will rise tonight.

Still, it tugs at our minds.

If we unexpectedly encounter the full moon, huge and yellow over the horizon, we are helpless but to stare back at its commanding presence. And the moon has gifts to bestow upon those who watch.

I learned about its gifts one July evening in the mountains. My car had mysteriously stalled, and I was stranded and alone. The sun had set, and I was watching what seemed to be the bright-orange glow of a forest fire beyond a ridge to the east. Suddenly, the ridge itself seemed to burst into flame. Then, the rising moon, huge and red and grotesquely misshapen by the dust and sweat of the summer atmosphere, loomed up out of the woods. Distorted thus by the hot breath of earth, the moon seemed ill-tempered and imperfect. Dogs at nearby farmhouse barked nervously, as if this strange light had wakened evil spirits in the weeds.

But as the moon lifted off the ridge it gathered firmness and authority. Its complexion changed from red, to orange, to gold, to impassive yellow. It seemed to draw light out of the darkening earth, for as it rose, the hills and valleys below grew dimmer. By the time the moon stood clear of the horizon, full-chested and round and of the colour of ivory, the valleys were deep shadows in the landscape. The dogs, reassured that this was the familiar moon, stopped barking. And all at once I felt a confidence and joy close to laughter.

The drama took an hour. Moonrise is slow and serried with subtleties. To watch it, we must slip into an older, more patient sense of time.

To watch the moon move inflexibly higher is to find an unusual stillness within ourselves. Our imaginations become aware of the vast distance of space, the immensity of the earth and the huge improbability of our own existence. We feel small but privileged.

Moonlight shows us none of life’s harder edges. Hillsides seem silken and silvery, the oceans still and blue in its light. In moonlight we become less calculating, more drawn to our feelings.

月升魅无穷

在我家的附近有座小山， 我常在晚间爬上山去。此时，城市的喧嚣成了遥远的低语。在这黑夜的静谧中，我尽情地分享蟋蟀的欢乐，感受猫头鹰的自信。不过，我上山是来看月出的，因为这可以让我的内心重新感到被城市消耗殆尽的平静与清新。

在这座山上，我欣赏过许多次月亮升起的景象。每一次月的姿容性情都不同。秋天，满月如轮，充满自信;春天，月亮清雾迷蒙羞羞答答;冬天，银白色的月亮挂在漆黑的、悄无声息的夜空中，显得那样孤寂;夏天，桔*的月似被烟尘笼罩，俯瞰干燥的田野。每一种月亮，都像美妙的音乐，颤动我的心灵，令我的灵魂平静。

但我们这些深居室内的人，已与月亮失去了联系。城市中耀眼的街灯和污染性烟尘遮住了夜空。虽然人类已在月亮上行走过，但月亮对我们却更加陌生了。现在已很少有人能说出今晚月亮何时升起。

但无论怎样，月亮依然打动我们的心灵。

如果我们偶然遇见一轮黄灿灿的满月高高挂在空中， 我们都会禁不住抬头凝望她那高贵的仪容。而月亮会向那些注视她的人赐予厚礼。

这奇特的景观持续了一个小时。月出是缓慢而充满神奇的。观看月出，我们必须回到一种古老的、耐心的时间观念中去。观看月亮不可阻挡地升上天空，会让我们找到内心的无比安宁，我们的想象力能让我们看到宇宙的辽阔和大地的广袤，能让我们忘掉自己的存在。我们觉得自身渺小，但又深感大自然的厚待。

月色下，我们看不到生活中坚硬的棱角。山坡在月光下如同笼上了一层柔和的银纱;大海在月光下宁静碧蓝;我们在月光下也不再像白日那般心计来往，而是沉醉于自然的情感中。

我家有一只小白兔，我给它起名叫“小贝”。它是我五岁生日时，舅舅送给我的生日礼物。

它长着一身雪白的毛，要是把它放在雪地里，你不仔细看，是绝对找不到它的。两只竖起来的耳朵，一双宝石般的眼睛，三瓣嘴不时的一动一动的，就像在跟你讲小秘密一样。一条毛茸茸的短尾巴，非常讨人喜欢。

小贝是一只贪吃的兔子。有一次，我从厨房找来了一片菜叶，故意把它放在小贝笼子不远处，不一会儿，小贝用它那敏锐的嗅觉蹦蹦跳跳地向我跑来。我见此情景，马上将菜叶子拿起来，冲向了卧室，迅速将菜叶藏了起来，没想到，小贝立刻就找到了，当我再想拿起菜叶时，已经晚了——小贝狼吞虎咽地吃死了菜叶，生怕我把菜叶抢走。当它迅速地吃完后，用一副可怜巴巴的样子看着我，好像在对我说：“小主人，你给我的菜叶子太少了，还不够我塞牙缝呢！能多给我一些吗？”看着它那可怜的样子，我只好去厨房多拿一些菜叶来给它吃。

当它吃完菜叶时，它还会模仿人类擦嘴的样子，用它那两只小爪子在嘴上蹭两下，然后满足地看着我，好像在对我说：“小主人，谢谢你，我吃的很饱，今天的菜叶很新鲜，我很喜欢。”每当这时，我只好勉强笑一笑，无助地摇摇头。

小贝不仅很贪吃，还很贪玩。它每天都会在客厅里蹭来蹭去，直到妈妈让它回到笼子里时，它才会垂头丧气地乖乖回到笼子里。在它“自由”的时候，它就会到处乱蹦，寻找好玩的。有一次，我把我保存的纽扣全都拿出来，摆在卧室的地板上，不料，小贝来了，它见我摆在地上的纽扣，高兴地在纽扣堆里蹦蹦跳跳，把我的一些漂亮纽扣“踢得”到处都是。我生气地瞪着它，它就会委屈地看着我，好像在说：“小主人，对不起，我再也不敢了。”我只好把它抱回笼子里去。

这就是我家的小白兔，我非常地喜欢它。

After I read the news, I felt very excited. Lei Feng was a good example all

the young people in our

country learned from in the 1960s and 1970s. But these years people seem to

have given up the ideas of Lei Feng. they dont care about public interests and

never think for others. All these have done GRE at harm to the society.

Now, we students have realized the seriousness of the problem, and have

decided to learn from Lei Feng. We are glad that Lei Feng has come back

again.
