我家养了一只活泼可爱的小白兔，它住在不远的笼子里，它很喜欢吃蔬菜、红萝卜、白萝卜……，我很喜欢它。

Practical jokes are a common practice on April Fools Day. Sometimes, elaborate practical jokes are played on friends or relatives that last the entire day. The news media even gets involved. For instance, a British short film once shown on April Fools Day was a fairly detailed documentary about "spaghetti farmers" and how they harvest their crop from the spaghetti trees.

April Fools Day is a "for-fun-only" observance. Nobody is expected to buy gifts or to take their "significant other" out to eat in a fancy restaurant. Nobody gets off work or school. Its simply a fun little holiday, but a holiday on which one must remain forever vigilant, for he may be the next April Fool!

我十分喜欢小白兔，每天放学回到家，它就跑过来依偎到我的怀里，我也经常带着小白兔去散步，它蹦蹦跳跳的十分开心；当我写作业时，它就趴在书桌边静静的看着我，我有时想偷懒，看到它鼓励的眼神时，就不由自主的继续认真学习起来。特别是有一次，小白兔撞倒了我的墨水瓶，弄的我们俩身上全是墨水，让我哭笑不得……

爷爷送给我们一只小白兔子，它四肢活泼，白白的绒毛衬着那红红的眼睛，是那么的天真可爱！

第一次见到小白兔，我就生爱慕之心。当我想伸手要摸它时，它却避开我的手，躲到一个小角落里，怎么也不肯出来。

第二次，我在想摸它时，它居然胆子大了，不躲在那个角落里，反而还狠狠地咬了我一口。看看我的手指头，早已印上一排排牙印。我的双眼直愣愣的看着它，它居然还昂首挺胸，在说：“我又没错。”

……

在我们两个的小世界中，出现了一次次的奇迹——它居然不再胆小，反而对我很友好。

有一次，我去看小兔子。发现笼子内有一根胡萝卜，一猜就知道是小兔子干的“好事”，它应该很饿了吧！

我拿起萝卜，对着小兔子。小兔子沿着笼子的边缘，一点一点的站了起来，张开小红嘴，准备吃它的食物。我拿着胡萝卜放进它的嘴中，它一点一点的吃了起来，吃的可真猛啊！

have taken place since 60 years ago.

In the past, the living conditions were very poor. There were not many

buses or cars, and the roads were narrow. Usually, a big family was crowded into

a small, dark house. Most families couldn’t get enough food. The communications

were simple and slow. People kept in touch with their friends and relatives far

away mainly by letter or telegram.

Thanks to the government, our hometown has developed rapidly in recent

years. The living conditions are much better and more comfortable. The roads are

wide. Some people have their own cars. Most of the people live in big new

houses. Quite a few adults have mobile phones. I think our lives will become

better and better because of many good policies.

有人喜欢活泼的小狗，有人喜欢漂亮的金鱼，有人喜欢可爱的小猫，而我喜欢乖巧的小白兔。

小白兔浑身雪白雪白的，如果在雪地里走失了，恐怕三天三夜也找不到。它有一对又细又长的耳朵，兴奋的时候耳朵会竖起来；失落的时候耳朵会耷拉下来。它有一双炯炯有神的红眼睛，像红宝石一样闪闪发光。它的嘴是小小的三瓣嘴，吃起东西可灵活了。它的前腿短后腿长，跳跃的时候，后腿有力一蹬，身子向前一窜，一下子跳了老远。它的尾巴像个小绒球，挂在屁股上，跳跃的时候随着身体一动一动的，可爱极了。

它吃食的时候也很可爱。有一次我拿了一根萝卜放在它的小窝边，它看见了火箭般的冲了过来，用两只前爪抱住萝卜，生怕别人把萝卜抢走，它又警惕地看了看四周，这才放心大胆地吃了起来，吃的时候还发出咯吱咯吱的声音，不一会儿就把萝卜吃光了。

它玩的时候也非常有趣。比如：撅屁股、爬一爬。……但它最喜欢的游戏还是爬一爬，跳一跳，再跳一跳，就这样一直跳，这就是它的游戏。

这就是我家的小白兔雪球，虽然它不会说话，但却给我带来很多的欢乐！
