He sets a good example for our human beings about how to deal with the relationship with animals. In order to memorize him and what he does, we make October, 4th to be World Animal Day. Nowadays, people from all over the world will hold various activities to celebrate on that day. The aim of this festival is to remind people to care for all animals and build a harmonious relationship with them.

我家养过许多小动物，但让我最喜欢的小动物就是小白兔。

记的有一天我正在看电视，妈妈给我买来一只小白兔，我高兴的蹦了起来，连忙找了一个笼子把它关了起来，我仔细观察它，只见它长着两只很长的大耳朵，红眼睛，三瓣嘴。我问妈妈：“小兔子爱吃什么呀？”妈妈说：“小白兔爱吃青菜和红萝卜。”我拿了一片青菜放到笼子里，可是小兔子不吃，我又问妈妈：“小兔子怎么不吃东西呀？”妈妈说“可能是小兔子离开了爸爸和妈妈太伤心了吧！”我想我要好好照顾它和它成为好朋友，让它忘掉忧伤。于是我站在笼了前又是给它唱歌又是给它说话，让它渐渐和我熟悉，可它就是不理睬我，它躲在一边瞪着红眼睛看着我，好像害怕人类一样，我躲在屋里观察它，它小心翼翼的用嘴咬了一下青菜叶，发现没有危险就把青菜吃了。

我每天放学后都要看看小兔子，给它喂红萝卜和青菜，我们也渐渐熟悉了，我也敢摸一摸它洁白的兔毛，它一动也不动好像认识我这个小主人了。有一天，我看天气很好，就把笼子打开，小兔子钻了出来，在院子里一蹦一跳的跟随着我，我走到哪里，它就跟到哪里，可爱极了，小白兔又可爱又机灵我真喜欢它呀！

可是天有不测风云，有一天小白兔自己钻出了笼子，我家的大花狗猛的一扑一下咬住了小兔子的脖子，鲜血流了出来，妈妈把狗打跑了，可是小白兔流血过多，躺在地上一动也不动了，我伤心的哭了，妈妈说：“小白兔身上都是宝，它的皮毛可以给人们做成衣服，它的肉可以让人吃了补充营养，不要伤心了，下次再给你买一只。”我听了后不再哭了，对小白兔默默的说：“你陪伴我过几天，给我带来了欢乐和笑声，可你却离开了我，我没有保护好你，你一直是我心里最喜欢的小动物！”
