Making a trip to ShangHai on May 18 was an experience which I will never forget.

I arrived in ShangHai at about 2 oclock,and immediately took a No.5 bus to the sea area.The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldnt see the other side of it.After getting off the bus,I went straight to the shore.Taking off my shoes,I put my feet into the water.The water was cool,and walking in the water was such a great joy that I didnt want to stop.Then I collected shells.When it got dark,I sat on the shore,watching the sea.The night scene was simply marvelous!

Finally I had to go back.It was an unforgettable day in my life.

Since I went to college, I have made many friends and we shared the same interest. My friends and I liked traveling so much. We decided to travel abroad. The destination was Thailand. We spent ten days there and had a nice trip. It was such an unforgettable trip, and I learned a lot.

Firstly, it was my first time to travel abroad. My friends and I had made many preparations. We read the travel guide and chose the information that was useful to us. A lovely spring day, I had finished a whole day’s study, riding back home. Suddenly, I found I couldn’t ride easily and felt exceedingly tired at that time. So, I got off and took a look at my bike. Last week i played basketball with my classmate in my school playground.

Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents. We stayed at a small village outside Saigon. The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos. Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day. They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside. It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget.

I was born on May 19,1980.Every birthday receive presents such as toys,candy ang books from my parents and friends.But this birthday is different.

Onthe morning of my fourteenth birthday, I got up earlier than usual to make breakfast for my parents. I wanted to give them a surprise. this is the first time I have got up earlier than my parents and made breakfast for them.And I will never forget their smiling faces when tey saw what Idid for them.

Today is Monday. I got up at 6：30 a.m.. Then I washed my face and ate breakfast. Milk， bread， egg and porridge are my favorites. My mother always getsup early and cooks for me. This morning， I drank a cup of milk and ate bread and an egg.After breakfast， I went to school at 7：00.School started at 7：50 and I usually get there at 7：30. I had English， history， math and geography in the morning. I liked English very much， because my English teacher is very nice.After school in the morning， I went home at 11：30. Then I ate lunch and then had a short rest.I went to school at 14：00.In the afternoon， I had four classes： music， biology， and two periods ofChinese. I liked Chinese， too， because Chinese is our national language and its very beautiful.After school， I went home for dinner. After dinner，I spent half and an hour inmy homework. The first day of my high school, I was told that the freshmen would need to join the military training.

I felt so scared, because in the summer days, the sun was so hot and I would be burned like a black man. But there was no way for the freshman to refuse to join the military training.

The training lasted for a week, in the first two days, we stood under the hot sun, moving around the playground and song. It was tough, but in the coming days, we got used to it and started to enjoy the free time.

All the students were like a group, we trained together, we sweated and played. In the evening, we would song in the playground. Now when I think of these days, I will smile and treat these military training days as the unforgettable memory in my life.
