People native to urban Beijing speak the Beijing dialect, which belongs to

the Mandarin subdivision of spoken Chinese. Beijing dialect is the basis for

Standard Mandarin, the language used in the Peoples Republic of China, the

Republic of China on Taiwan, and Singapore. Rural areas of Beijing Municipality

have their own dialects akin to those of Hebei province, which surrounds Beijing

Municipality.

Beijing Opera, or Peking Opera (Jingju), is well-known throughout the

national capital. Commonly lauded as one of the highest achievements of Chinese

culture, Beijing Opera is performed through a combination of song, spoken

dialogue, and codified action sequences, such as gestures, movement, fighting

and acrobatics. Much of Beijing Opera is carried out in an archaic stage dialect

quite different from modern Standard Mandarin and from the Beijing dialect; this

makes the dialogue somewhat hard to understand, and the problem is compounded if

one is not familiar with Chinese. As a result, modern theaters often have

electronic titles in Chinese and English.

siheyuan consists of a square housing compound, with rooms enclosing a central

courtyard. This courtyard often contains a pomegranate or other type of tree, as

well as potted flowers or a fish tank. Siheyuans line Hutongs , or alleys, which

connect the interior of Beijings old city. They are usually straight and run

east-to-west so that doorways can face north and south for Feng Shui reasons.

They vary in width — some are very narrow, enough for only a few pedestrians to

pass through at a time.

Once ubiquitous in Beijing, siheyuans and hutongs are now rapidly

disappearing, as entire city blocks of hutongs are leveled and replaced with

high-rise buildings. Residents of the hutongs are entitled to apartments in the

new buildings of at least the same size as their former residences. Many

complain, however, that the traditional sense of community and street life of

the hutongs cannot be replaced. Some particularly historic or picturesque

hutongs are being preserved and restored by the government, especially for the

2008 Olympics. One such example can be seen at Nanchizi.

Mandarin cuisine is the local style of cooking in Beijing. Peking Roast

Duck is perhaps the most well-known dish. The Manhan Quanxi ("Manchu-Han Chinese

full banquet") is a traditional banquet originally intended for the

ethnic-Manchu emperors of the Qing Dynasty; it remains very prestigious and

expensive.

Teahouses are also common in Beijing. Chinese tea comes in many varieties

and some rather expensive types of Chinese tea are said to cure an ailing body

extraordinarily well.

The Jingtailan is a cloisonné metalworking technique and tradition

originating from Beijing, and one of the most revered traditional crafts in

China. Beijing lacquerware is well known for the patterns and images carved into

its surface.

The Fuling Jiabing is a traditional Beijing snack food, a pancake (bing)

resembling a flat disk with filling, made from fu ling (Poria cocos (Schw.)

Wolf, or "tuckahoe"), an ingredient common in traditional Chinese medicine.

妈妈也非常勤快。下班回家就急匆匆地去买菜，买完菜又急忙赶回家做饭给我们吃。吃完了饭也没得休息，就扫起地板来了。到了晚上七八点钟，妈妈还要去单位加班，连休息一下也没有。她无怨无悔地为我家奉献一切。

这就是我的妈妈，全世界最好的妈妈。没有一个比她更负责任的妈妈了。我爱妈妈，她无私地为我付出全部的爱。

国庆节，我和妈妈一同来到了郑州办事，顺便逛逛街，早上坐车来的时候，座位几乎没有空的，可我们没有在意。

办事很顺利，不到中午，我们来到了人气最旺盛的德化街。首先映入眼帘的是“百年德化”四个大字，只见德化街两边彩旗飘扬，来这里逛街购物的人们，络绎不绝。真不愧是郑州最繁华的商业区，街的两边座落着大大小小的商场，因为是国庆长假，各大商场人满为患，商家忙的不亦乐乎，而心里却早已乐开了花。与德化街紧密相连的是历史悠久、众所周知的二七广场，二七广场的人气不比德化街差，也是人山人海，人头攒动，由于二七塔正在维护当中，所以，我只能够领略它雄伟的外表，这是今天唯一的遗憾，改天我一定再来一览二七塔的风采。

乘车来到汽车站门口，看见许多人都蹲在门口，因当时正值下午，天气较热，我以为他们是在乘凉呢。谁知一进售票大厅，整个大厅全都是人，简直没有一个落脚的地方，每个售票窗口好似都排了一条长龙，这时，我们都愣住了，怎么这么多人?这才想起来今天是国庆假期，出游和回家的人比平时多了好几倍，没办法只好慢慢排队了……当排到我们时，售票员却告知票已售完。

带着失望，拖着疲惫的双腿，来到火车站广场上，只见火车站被人们围了个水泄不通，这里又是一个人山人海，人头攒动。我和妈妈就好像两只没头苍蝇一样，在火车站里随着人流，挤来挤去。终于来到了售票处，可是一看队已经排到对面马路上去了，我们只好使出了“千年绝技”插队法，这才终于买到了回家的车票。

今天终于让我见识了，国庆小长假出游的弊端了，所以，我在这里奉劝大家，尽量避开小长假出游。

Every year, Spring Festival makes me happy, because I can spend a long

holiday to stay with my families. On the New Year’s Eve, all the families got

together. We woke up early in the morning and then my mother started to purchase

some food to prepare the big dinner. I helped my mother to bring the food.

Before dinner, there was a tradition in my hometown. We needed to bring the

chicken to take a bow to our ancestors, showing our respect and gratitude. When

the dinner’s ready, we ate happily and talked a lot. Then at night, the families

pasted the New Year’s scrolls and decorated the house. What a harmonious

environment and we enjoyed the family hour. In the next few days, I visited a

Recently, the haze weather has increasingly been serious and this

phenomenon triggers the widespread concern towards air quality. In my view of

the point, the best way to improve air quality is to tax the owner of private

car.

There are reasons accounting for my view. To begin with, there is no

denying that gas emission of private car is a great evil of air pollution.

To tax the owner of private car will make some contribution to cut down gas

emission and improve air quality. Furthermore, the tax also has a great impact

on decreasing the rate of car’s increase. Those who have a plan to buy a car

will take the tax into account and some of them have to give up their plan. If a

lot of people can use public transportation instead of private cars, the air

quality will not be so rotten. In addition, taxing for private car is also a

warning of environment protection. The notion of environment protection will be

brought to public again and an increasing number of people will be awake to the

importance of air protection and environment protection and make effort to

protect it. Finally, the government can use the tax as funds of improving the

air quality, which will be a great help to raise fund.

Taking above into account, I believe that taxing the owner of private car

is the best way to improve air quality. Certainly, we can carry out other

methods to improve it at the same time, such as planting trees, developing

public transportation and so on. I advocate that all of us should take pains to

protect our environment and we will lead a better life.

My English teacher is Miss Hou, all the students like her so much. I am one of them, Miss Hou is the one I adore, she is so patient and kind to me. When I have question about English, she is pleased to explain the question, even though I still have question, she keeps answer them until I understand. Miss Hou is a great teacher.

opinion, youth is nothing to do with the age, we can enjoy the youth all the

time. The movies recall people’s memory, if people are active, they can be young

forever, there is no need to look back on the memory. When people get older,

小学英语作为近几年新增设的科目，在肩负英语启蒙和为以后进一步学习大基础的重任的同时，又面临着检验匮乏，教学对象年龄小，注意力，接受，分辨能力相对较低等重多困难。那么，怎么才能克服困难，有效良好地进行小学英语教学呢？我认为应在分析学生的年龄特征、心理、注意力等特征的前提下，精心设计组织教学。而其中，游戏的运用尤其重要。现行小学英语教材就充分认识到了这一点，在整册教学内容中，几乎在每课都穿插有游戏。

游戏在小学英语教学中有着多方面的重要的作用。

一、 激发兴趣，活跃气氛，吸引注意力

一节好课不是老师一味的讲，学生一味的听，而应是有静有动，动静相结合的，小学设管内的天性是好动的，要让他们端端正正的坐着听四十分钟，是很难办到的。即使做到了也收不到良好的教学效果。同时还可能压抑了他们的个性，影响了他们的学习兴趣，此外，心理研究表明，小学生的注意力稳定性较差。最好的也只能保持30分钟，况且长时的有意注意容易使人感到枯燥乏味，投入程度也不会高，如果在教学中结合教师的讲解，适当地安排一些游戏，为孩子们提供一个动的舞台，把他们的思维和身体从疲劳、紧张中解放出来，使他们涣散的注意被吸引过来，在轻松愉快的气氛中完成学习任务。例如，在学习人身体部位名称时，刚开始学生们觉得新鲜，兴趣很浓，热情还很高，但随着单词加多，听讲和读的时间加长，他们感到很疲乏，觉得没意思了，注意力也不能很好地集中了。这时，我适时地加入了“听口令，做动作”的游戏，一听说要做游戏，孩子们立刻变得活跃起来，注意力又集中了，在随后“touch your head” “stamp your feet” “wave your arm”的口令中，他们一会摸头，一会跺脚，一会挥胳膊，忙得不亦乐乎，最终在笑声中记住了个部位的名称。

二、 创设情景，加深记忆

一种语言习惯的习得，必须是在一定的语言背景和情景中完成，这些仅靠课文中提供的情景对话是远远不够的。那些对话是别人的，学生只是一个扮演者和朗读者，因为没有心灵的感受和理解，许多人不能很好地融入其中。游戏就弥补了之不足。它不仅为学生提供了情境，语境，还让学生们真正地成为“主人公”亲身经历资：料；来/源，于ＧＺＵ５２１学：习；网 http：//Ｇzｕ５２1。COm，这对他们的记忆又是一大帮助，如果为了记忆只是一味地重复练习，他们就只能是机械地记忆，而这种记忆是很难保持的，但如果将所学的内容安排在他们积极从事着的活动中去，成为活动的直接对象，这样，因为是他们亲自感受体验，直接参与了的，记忆效果受识记时的情绪状态的影响。情绪状态较佳时对记忆作用明显。这一研究结果提示我们，在教学时，应该重视情境，愉快地教学，这又如何做到呢？游戏便为我们提供了一条捷径。在教学中开展多种多样轻松幽默的游戏，使他们在笑声中学会英语。

三、 训练口语，发展思维

英语的学习不仅仅是记忆、理解、书写，还要能够说出来，能够正确流利地说出来。这是重点也难点。对于初学英语的人来说，更是难上加难。他们往往心理紧张，没有自信，不敢开口。更别说在课后生活中运用了。要攻破这个拦路虎，首先必须给学生一个没有压力的轻松环境，消除内心的紧张与害怕，同时，鼓励他们进行语言交流，在运用语言与其他人互相讲话时，学习的内容会丰富起来，游戏就恰恰能够做到这些。游戏给了学生接近生活，轻松愉快的环境，带给他们描述、表达、说明的欲望，在不知不觉中训练了口语，这些都比学生自己读教材重复教师的话有价值得多。

语言与思维之间存在密切的关系，游戏在联系课本词汇的同时，促使学生准确地表达思想感情，把他们所学的语言词汇合理地组织，适当地安排，准确地表达，这个过程，丰富了他们的词汇，丰富了他们的的感性经验，推动了思维的灵活性、逻辑性的发展。

此外，游戏给了学生想象和思考的空间，激发了他们的想象力和思考能力。如在教学“friendship”时，为了让他们深刻理解记忆这个单词的含义，我采用了画图的游戏，就是把这个单词的意思用画图表示出来。因为“friendship”的概念是抽象的，没有实物可以比拟，这样就不能照猫画虎了。只能凭借自己的脑子去思考去想象。有的学生想象了一个有关友谊的故事，画了一幅漫画，有的想到了恩格斯和马克思的友谊，画了两幅肖像；有的想到了一句古诗“桃花潭水深千尺，不及汪伦送我情”，并且惟妙惟肖地画了出来，以次来体现“friendship”的含义这样，学生们充分发挥了他们的想象和思考的能力，深刻地理解了单词的意义，思维能力也得到了进一步发展。

四、 培养情感，发展能力

在教学中，有趣的游戏活动，可以养成学生热爱生活，开朗乐观的生活态度，能够让学生有机会感受生活的多姿多彩，有机会展现自己的生命活力和丰富想象力，创造力，从而树立自信心和自豪感。在游戏活动中，学生与他人合作交流，使其体验到团结、友爱、互助、荣誉感、责任感，进取心等积极的情感。比如，在角色扮演的游戏中，使其学习表达各种社会角色的情感，在画画游戏中进一步发展了他们的美感，此外，游戏中还存在一个如何协调的问题，如何制定游戏规则和如何违反规则进行处罚的问题，学生们需要自主地讨论和解决这个问题。这个过程中他们的组织能力、协调能力等都得以锻炼，同时这队学生的独立性、正义感都有潜移默化的作用。

以上是游戏在小学英语教学中四方面的作用，除此之外，还有其他作用，这根据游戏形式、内容的不同而异，当然，并不是所有游戏都能起到了这些作用。这就要求我们在教学中精心选择、组织，恰当安排，以使其取得最佳效果。

当童年慢慢逝去，有些深刻的记忆会慢慢的浮现出来，童心拨动着我的心弦，敲击着我的心，使我想起童年里那个伤心的早晨。

那时我才九岁，我在奶奶家生活，就在早晨九点多，我接到妈妈的电话，妈妈在电话那一边说我的外婆去世了，就在那一刻，我怔住了，我挂掉电话，躲在一旁哭泣，我又打电话给妈妈，让妈妈来接我，我要让外婆入土为安，并且种下我早已为她买好的花。

果真妈妈就让阿姨来接我，一路上，我在车上看到景色都觉得不美，脑子里，不时浮现出外婆的笑容，过了几个小时，我终于到了外婆家里，看见外婆的棺材，我不禁失声痛哭，我戴上孝，跪在外婆的棺材边，眼泪不断的从脸上划过，眼泪记录着我和外婆在一起的快乐时光，在那一刻，外婆的笑脸浮现在我眼前，那是一张饱经沧桑的脸，额头上的皱纹有律的排成三，眼睛上的眼袋也随着笑容变少了许多，眼睛里闪烁着快乐的样子，鼻子高高的挺起来，手上好像被草刮伤，被刀割伤。我的眼泪似乎流干了，似乎看不清了眼前的一切。妈妈哭着拿起外婆照片，舅舅抬起棺材，我听见乐队奏响哀乐，外婆就要入土为安了，我目送外婆最后一程，我伤心的扑入妈妈的怀中失声痛哭……

人都要离世，而童年里我就经历最亲的人离开了我，让我记忆犹新，永远不可能忘记。

Everybody will meet all kinds of difficulties during their lives, of

course, they are willing to accept success, but the fact is that no one can win

all the time, they will meet failure now and then. Fail is an unpleasant thing

to face, people treat fail a bad thing. While for me, I think we can learn from

failure and be a better man.

Everyone is afraid of facing failure, because failure brings them the sense

of frustration. When facing failure, people choose to avoiding talking about it,

they feel that they will be looked down upon by others. Indeed, no one likes to

failure anything, they want to be successful all the time.

If people change their idea about failure, they can see the positive side.

There is an old saying that failure is the mother of success, which means that

people will learn from failure and make preparation for the success. So failure

is not that hard to face, if people take right attitude towards it, they will

gain success soon.

In a word, failure is not a bad something, it can bring success, only if

people treat it right.

我的家乡在江北的一个小乡村，在连云港附近，是个好地方。我奶奶就住在那个小村子里，我的`童年就是和奶奶一起度过的。那里虽谈不上有多少的好山好水，但是一年四季的景致和趣味也不比别的地方差。 My hometown is a small place near Lianyungang, near Lianyungang.My grandma lived in that small village, and my childhood spent with grandma.Although there are not many good mountains and rivers, the scenery and fun of the year are not worse than other places.

春天的时候百花盛开，姹紫嫣红的景象甚是好看，走在田野上，温和的阳光洒下，照在花朵上，风一吹，那些在阳光下的花朵就像小星星一样扑闪扑闪的，很是可爱。大树抽出了嫩枝新芽，碧绿碧绿的，在微风中轻轻的晃动，仿佛在招手一样，显得十分动人。

夏天到了，知了趴树上聒噪的叫声使人烦躁，这时的树荫显得更加的浓密了，大人们喜欢端着茶壶，躲在阴凉的地方休息聊天，小孩子们喜欢在一起游泳戏水，稍微有些勤奋的，不一会可以摸到一大盆螺蛳和河蚌。晚上炒菜吃。更有甚者去林子里找野草莓吃。

秋天是个收获的季节，我们可以去果园玩。果园里满是苹果和梨子，苹果是半红半青的，梨子是棕色的，不是黄的，一个个像胖乎乎的小娃娃一样，挂在树上，十分好看，那里面一般不用农药，摘下来一个就可大快朵颐了，苹果的味道十分的美味。梨子虽然不是太好吃，但是味道还不错。

冬天的时候，我们的家乡成了雪的世界，外的的雪总是在飘落个不停，想伸出手去接，可惜的是雪花一到手掌就化成了水了，再接一个，又接一个，可是雪花总是那样故技重施。地上铺着一层白花花的“雪地毯”，在阳光的照耀之下，仿佛是缀满了宝石的白地毯一样一闪一闪的，我们必须要穿着厚厚的衣服带个大大的帽子出去玩。我们总是会在一起打雪仗或者抓一把雪往别人衣领子里灌。叫他冷的缩脖子。玩腻了，就回家看电视或睡觉，往往第二天早上一起来，家家门口都会立着一个奇怪的大雪人，也许是为了开心或者是故意的。

这就是我的家乡，一个温暖，美丽的地方，一个充满着乐趣的地方。
