在一次上时间管理的课上，教授在桌子上放了一个装水的罐子。然後又从桌子下面拿出一些正好可以从罐口放进罐子里的「鹅卵石」。当教授把石块放完後问他的学生道：「你们说这罐子是不是满的？」

「没有满，」全班同学这下学乖了，大家很有信心地回答说。「好极了！」教授再一次称赞这些「孺子可教也」的学生们。称赞完了後，教授从桌底下拿出一大瓶水，把水倒在看起来已经被鹅卵石、小碎石、沙子填满了的罐子。当这些事都做完之後，教授正色问他班上的同学：「我们从上面这些事情得到什麽重要的功课？」

班上一阵沈默，然後一位自以为聪明的学生回答说：「无论我们的工作多忙，行程排得多满，如果要逼一下的话，还是可以多做些事的。」这位学生回答完後心中很得意地想：「这门课到底讲的是时间管理啊！」

教授听到这样的回答後，点了点头，微笑道：「答案不错，但并不是我要告诉你们的重要信息。」说到这里，这位教授故意顿住，用眼睛向全班同学扫了一遍说：「我想告诉各位最重要的信息是，如果你不先将大的「鹅卵石」放进罐子里去，你也许以後永远没机会把它们再放进去了。」

1、对于工作中零零散散的事件可以按重要性和紧急性的不同组合确定处理的先后顺序。做到鹅卵石、碎石子、沙子、水都能放到罐子里去。

2、对于人生旅途中出现的事件也应如此处理。也就是平常所说的处在哪一年龄段要完成哪一年龄段应完成的事，否则，时过境迁，到了下一年龄段就很难有机会补救。

人们总有一些零碎的不完整的时间，这就是碎片化的时间。比如：在车上去上学时，又比如在等飞机时还有在排队时。这些都是我们不知道干什么的碎片化时间。

其实，我们可以合理利用起这些时间的。举个例子吧，我们想要洗澡，那时候天很冷，需要烧水洗脚，我们是选择站在那儿等水开呢还是在烧水的时候，准备好要洗脚的东西呢？如果站在那儿不动的话，等水开了你也要去准备洗脚的东西，这样一番倒腾，你的水很快就会凉了，但，如果能有效的管理等水煮开的这段碎片时间。那效果就完全不同了。比如：事先准备好冷的话，水开了，你只要将它加进你准备好的冷水里，一中和水就是温的，就可以直接洗脚了。我们也可以学会管好自己，没事干的时间。而这个就是碎片化时间的管理。

在自我照料中有碎片化时间有效管理问题，在购物方面也有这样的碎片化时间管理的问题。其实，我们只要将这种碎片化时间不闲置充分利用起来生活就会完全不一样了。

比如：想买一样东西，如果去超市里购买，路上会花费一些时间，而如果在家里网购的话，则会摇摆不定，不知道这个商品的质量是好还是坏。我们就可以这样去做。比如今天我们在外面，上课，上完课后有多余的时间，而我们现在就在商场附近，我们可以进去看看是否有自己想要的东西，如果没有的话，则可以选择碎片化的时间在网上找一下，有是否有自己想要和需要的东西。如果你不知道这个货品是好还是坏，你可以去看一下是她的好评多还是她的坏评多。假设有许多坏评的话，你则可选择不到这家买东西，而是到另一家去看看。当然，如果你急需要，这样物品的时候，你可以去问一下店家多久发货，从而决定是否购买。

How to Be Punctual

1.Acknowledge that you are a person who is having a hard time being punctual. As with any problem, you cannot fix it if youre in denial that its a problem at all. But if your chronic tardiness is beginning to strain your job and/or your relationships, the first thing you need to do is acknowledge this as a weakness so you can begin to work toward correcting it.Although if it is a rational problem,like traffic or small children,there is no need to feel bad-just keep working on it!

2. Wake up when youre supposed to wake up. Dont hit the snooze button, linger in bed, and watch TV at the very start of your day.Maybe even try setting your clock 10 minutes earlier than you need to. If you have difficulty with this, move your alarm clock to somewhere out of reach from your bed; that way, you have to get up to turn it off. Acquire the habit of sitting up, stretching, and getting out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off. If you cant get out of bed on time, you may be going to bed too late. Try sleeping earlier to allow yourself at least 7 hours sleep. By getting up late you are setting a pattern of lateness for the rest of the day. 3. Commit yourself to being 15 minutes early for everything. If you have to be to work at 8:00, dont even tell yourself this. Just tell yourself (and everyone else who listens- but dont annoy them or make them think that they are late or early!) "I have to be at work at 7:45." If you do this, you will be on time even with little unforeseen interruptions. You will be on time even with a traffic jam. And on those rare times that you actually show up 15 minutes early; you will get kudos for being an enthusiastic employee.You can also chat with others who are early,and that will make you happy before work!

4. Bring something you can read in short segments almost everywhere you go. This makes it easy to be early, since in the 10-15 minutes you have before an appointment/event, you can get a few pages of reading done. 5. Watch yourself for a few days to see where you often waste the most time. These "time sinkholes" (such as getting distracted while checking emails) are often unnoticed by us and can throw off your daily planning. Try to change your habits around these activities. For example, standing up while quickly checking your emails makes it hard to lose an hour randomly surfing the web.

6. Keep organized. Disorganization is directly related to lateness. How often have you been late because you were looking for your car keys or couldnt find an important document? Keep the things that you use everyday in some resemblance of organization and your routines will go smoother.

7. Plan ahead.

o Schedule something unimportant right before something very important. If you have an essential interview at 4:00, plan to meet a friend for coffee at the coffee shop next to your interview at 3:30. Then, even if you are late to meet your friend, you will be poised to pounce on your meeting.But remember to tell your friend that you may miss your coffee(they might feel that you are ditching them.)

o Pick out your clothes the night before (dont forget your underclothes and shoes!). If you need to bring something with you, set it with your car keys or purse.

o If you are going to some unfamiliar place, look over a map, or even drive there once if at all possible. Have your transportation planned; if you drive, keep your car in good order and refill gas in the tank. If you ride a bus, know the route, have your fare, and keep cab money on hand in case of emergency. If you are depending on another person for a ride—have a plan B!

8. Go to sleep on time. This makes it a lot easier to get up on time and helps you stay on task during the day. Unless you know otherwise, assume you need eight hours of sleep every night. By far the majority of people need at least this much sleep. College students and younger need more. Most people underestimate their sleep needs.

比如，当我学习完一阶段，休息时开始折纸，结果，还没折到一半，休息时间就结束了，可是等到下次休息的时候，再折时还要重复之前的步骤。再如，我利用学习休息时间阅读，正好看到最精彩的部分，学习时间到了，我依依不舍的放下书，当下次继续读书时却没有那种热情了。所以我并不喜欢利用“碎片化”时间做一些事情，我更喜欢一次性完成一个手工作品，或者专注地把一本书通读到底。而我也不喜欢在路上背单词、听听力，一来容易受到外界的干扰，事倍功半；二是若太专注地背、听、看，很有可能坐过站，导致迟到。

我很苦恼！我问自己如何做才能既有效地利用“碎片化”时间，又能在“碎片化”时间里专注地做一件事情呢？

暑假里，我读到一本书——《时间管理——如何充分利用你的24小时》。读完后，我深受启发，明白了如果“碎片化”时间不进行管理，也是一种浪费时间的表现。

我根据《时间管理》这本书，开始慢慢地调整我在“碎片化”时间里做的事情。若在休息时间不是很长的情况下，我不再像原来那样，抱着一本厚厚的书读，而是换成小短文或者规定只读一个章节；也不再进行折纸，而是和爸爸妈妈说说话，聊聊天，做一些简单地小事情；在路上，我尽量放松自己的心情，看看天，看看树，看看行走的人们，观察这个大千世界。只有当我完成一天的学习任务或在节假日时，我再安排时间，酣畅淋漓地进行读书、运动、做手工。

因为科学技术的进步，导致我们生活在一个“碎片化“时代里。有些悲观者认为，”碎片化“正在无情地撕碎我们的生活，使我们浪费生命。但是我认为，通过对时间进行有效地管理，我们在”碎片化“的时间中做一些”碎片化“的事情，一样可以聚沙成塔、滴水穿石；一样可以节约时间；一样可以成为时间的主人！
