关于喝腊八粥的由来，有很多种传说，其中以来源于佛教的说法较多，一说传为佛教徒仿牧女供养世尊乳糜之典故，而于腊月初八日用米及果物煮粥供佛，称为腊八粥。一说农历十二月初八为佛诞日，诸大寺作法佛会，煮果品、五谷等物为粥，寺院以此粥供佛后多馈赠信徒，以邀佛佑。其后，此风气渐传至民间，成为我国民间风俗之一。不过，我老家却有一个和这毫不相干的传说，倒也有趣。讲的是很久以前，一个非常不仔细(方言：其意为很奢侈)的富人整天花天酒地，一年一年的，花钱就象流水。这一年到了快过年的时候了，我想就是腊月初八日吧，才忽然发现所有的家产都已经花完了，甚至连吃的也没有了，饥饿之下只好把家里所有的装粮食的缸底儿给清了清，真是瘦死的骆驼比马大。刚好凑了八样，就熬了一锅粥，这锅粥真是酸甜苦辣，一言难尽……最终这个人还是饥饿而死。为警示后人，所以家家到了这一天都要熬腊八粥吃，以示珍惜粮食和财富之意，也有过日子要思量，别钻过头不顾_

Dreams and Reality

When we talk about dreams, we are so excited, we have many dreams, such as

being a famous person, traveling around the world and so on.

Dreams are what we pursue for a lifetime, with many dreams, we have

motivation to fight for our life. The opposite side of dream is reality, we have

to face reality everyday, reality is what we perceive in our life.

Reality always frustrates us to be successful. We need to balance them.

First, we need to face reality, though it is not ideal, we live in a world, we

have to know exactly who we are. Second, to make our dreams come true, we need

to adjust our dreams according to the reality。

In order to help me grow healthily, my parents make some family rules.

First, we must honest to others. Honesty is the basic character of a person.

Second, we should take our responsibilities. My duty is study now, so I must

work hard for it. Third, we should be thankful to the life. It will help us to

love ourselves and others. My parents always tell me to remember these rules.

And I will remember them always.

Today was the second day of our Hong Kong visit. I was very happy as

yesterday. But I felt tired a lot. I didn’t want to stay at guesthouse, so I

planted to go window-shopping with my parents in Times Square. There were many

kinds of goods, but you could choose the one you liked best easily。Also, there

were many designer-label stores in Times Square, such as

DNKY、MAXMARA、MAX&CO、BOSS and so on. Among others, there was a famous

bookstore called PAGEONE.At last, I bought a beautiful skirt(你好像是女的吧)and some

books。Then I was exhausted but I didn’t care in the slightest(可以换成not at all

)。

stick to their dreams. We see the power of persistence. But as I see different

situations, sometimes the way to gain achievement is not favored by me.

Different people have different ways to keep move on.

For those people whose family are not poor, they can chase their dreams

without hesitation. The parents will give great support to them and no matter

what their children do, they just want them to be happy. Without the economic

burden, those people can focus all their attention and follow their dreams all

But for the persons whose family are poor, especially the parents are

waiting for the children’s economic support, they should make ends meet first

and then follow their dreams. Life can’t be ideal all the time, only when they

solve the basic needs, dreams will be supported. Some people make the things

they like as a hobby, they keep studying it in their spared time, if insist,

they will get the extra achievement.

Following dreams completes our life and make us live with meaning. The will

of never giving up will bring us success someday.

Now let me say something about Beijing Opera. Beijing Opera is very popular in China. It has a history of more than 200 years. During the reign of the Qianlong emperor in the Qing dynasty, Qianlong had a interest in the local opera. In 1790, to celebrate his eightieth birthday, he summoned opera troupes from different places to perform for him in Beijing. Four famous troupes from Anhui province remained in Beijing after the celebration. In 1828, A Hubei troupe came to Beijing and often performed together with the Anhui troupes. The two types of singing mixed together and gradually a new type came into being known as Beijing Opera. Now is the performance. I hope you will like it.

To tell you the truth, I dont like the Spring Festival at all. When I was

young I liked it very much,because I could had something tasty to eat during the

Spring Festival,and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes,too. I also could

had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do. I dont

Firstly, I cant have a good time during the Festival. Every New Years Eve

One Sunday my mother （Mother） had （made） me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.

This winter holiday I stayed at home. I am happy because my father and my

mother could spend more time with me during the Spring Festival. Besides, on the

说干就干，我学着妈妈平时拣菜的样子，先把捆好的白菜解开，用刀把菜根切去。然后，把一片片菜叶剥下来，碧绿的，放在地上，枯黄的，扔进垃圾桶里，剥着，剥着，突然，我看到了一条大青虫躺在菜叶上，吓了我一大跳，顺手把那片碧绿的但上面有虫子的菜叶扔掉了。可转念一想，农民伯伯种菜多不容易呀，每一片菜叶都注入了他们的血与汗，其实一条大青虫也没什么好怕的，于是，我就壮着胆子，鼓起勇气，把叶子拿起来将虫子扔进垃圾桶里。经过一番努力后，我终于把菜叶全部拣好了。妈妈这才夸奖我，告诉我做事不能马虎，要专心致志才能完成，并且，做事情之前应该用脑子想好这件事该怎样做。

Today is Wednesday. It’s the third day of the summer camp. The weather isn’t very good. It reined all the time, and the wind blowed strongly. So I don’t feel happy. And the umbrella is too small for two persons my sister and me water always fell down into my shoes, so my feet got wet. It’s uncomfortable. I think it was really a bad day.

Today, we saw two films, but we only saw half of them. Lion King is very interesting. Tomorrow we will finish watching that. I hope this will get a good ending. Also our Chinese teacher changed a lot. I started to listen to his lessons.

This evening, we three taught Cathy about the language in my hometown. We said a word and then she guessed. She is really very clever. She can understand most of me said, and Mr.Zhang told us something about the ways to study English. I don’t agree with him. I think everyone has his (her) own best way to study English, right?

I hope tomorrow it will be sunny and we can travel around Zhejiang University, I hope so.

漫长而又艰难的几个小时总算熬出了头，离十二点只有几分钟了。大家便拿上烟花和鞭炮，去到门家的院子里。我们还没点燃鞭炮，就已经听到了“噼哩啪啦”的声响了，我自告奋勇去点烟花，拿着已经被点燃的一柱香，朝着引火线处过去，把引火线点着了，我立马捂上耳朵往远处跑去。当我开始仰望天空欣赏时，被那美丽景象给惊艳到了，天空中几种不同的五颜六色的烟花在争奇斗艳，把天空渲染成了似几只孔雀一起开屏的壮丽美景，使我的眼睛应接不暇。

过去有许多值得回忆的事，哪怕是挫折或成功，都值得去回味。但也不能沉迷于其中。因为毕竟是过去，是成长路上的一个句号，新的一年才是一个开头，新的一页。所以让我们把握当下，好好学习!

阳光轻轻、柔柔地照在黑板上。浅浅的春意洒在每个人微笑的脸庞。我看着这个被阳光划出轮廓的笔尖，在纸上舞出一个个干枯的枝叶，一句句熟悉的话语。小小的笔尖，简单的移动，轻轻地撑起了沉重珍贵的回忆。每个开始，都会为明天书写。
