Recently I have read a famous Chinese classical novel-The romance of the Three Kingdoms and I felt benefit a lot. Let me tell you about my feelings.

The romance of the Three Kingdoms is one of the four great Chinese master pieces. It was written by Luo Guanzhong, who was born in 1330. It describes nearly 200 characters and tells the story from the late Eastern Han dynasty to the unified of Jin dynasty.

In this sense it can be said that while Dickens sympathizes with the poor, he identifies with the rich: they are the books audience, its "us" rather than its "them". Here I am sitting on a couch alone thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishness of the secular world for a long time. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow’s life. Searching for a while Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil.

In the final analysis love and care contain numerous forms there are love of forgiveness love of trust etc. but they all come from your beliefs in life. When someone tells you he’s deceived you forgive him anyway when someone tells you what he’s done trust him anyway and when you face adversities while chasing your dreams think about your beliefs then what hinders you will become a piece of cake in no time.

Scarlett , a very personality figures ，the two mans she love ,neither does she know about.To her, I was compelled to admire, admire her strong and brave, admire her to lay down in the environment, farm workers previously suffered education, admire her to disregard the community to create their own expression of the cause .She is in the whole story, all a person full of fighting will full of vitality . I appreciated most , it is this " Tomorrow is another day of hers. " . Promising forever, full of fighting will , will never give up, never desperate. I think I’m moved by her.So, whenever I meet difficulty, the mood is not good, I will tell oneself : " Tomorrow is another day. " ’Gone with the Wind’ is absolutely a good book that is worth sampling repeatedly, the characters are graceful , the plot rises and falls, exciting boldly and unconstrainedly, though the subjective factor because of the author among them , the appraisal on U.S.A.’s Civil War is not objective and overall, but as to angle of literature, this one fine piece of writing generation definitely absolutely, worth visiting.

Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

The Gift of the Magi is a short story wrote by O.Henry.This story tells that in the day before Christmas,a poor young couple exchanged gifts by sold the most precious thing of each,but resulted ordetracted, the two precious gifts all became useless things.While they got the most precious thing than any material objects——love.

After read this story,I learned how to respect others love and how to love others.In this story,they all lost the most valuable things——Jims golden watch and Dellas beautiful hair. Behind this, I saw they loved each other infinitely.They loved their family, they let me feel that cold Christmas Eve has become the warm heaven just because of their gifts. If Della only took one dollar and eighty-seven cents to pick gift,this story will probably lacking of shocking, and also cannot cause readers thinking.

In this materialistic society, people often use money to measure gifts.When bags of gifts which are packaging delicately in front of us,what can we see except empty and blank? Parents feel happy because of our simple greeting cards in their birthday,because of a few words of blessing.These gifts,simple but true.It cant be compared with those which built with a lot of money, outlined by luxuriance. What clever gifts! In some sense, they are invaluable.

Yes,in this materialistic society,some people think money is everything,the one who owns money,who owns all.No wonder a great amount of girls became mammonists,and want to marry richers;no wonder more and more men think that there is no true love,what girls love is their money. But I always believe sincere love is existed and its priceless. Even if you have millions of money, you cant change it into true love. Maybe money can let you get some feelings from girls, but those are hypocritical. When you no longer possess vast wealth, the hypocritical feelings will ended and left you extremely painful finally.Jim and Della were a happy couple, although they were poor, living in short of money.In their hearts, money is not important, the important thing is the affection from each other.As long as they have it, they felt happier than any millionaire.

Maybe some people will pour scorn on it and cannot understand what their done. If there is a good fortune and a sincere feeling in front of you at the same time, which one will you choose? I wouldnt hesitate to choose the later, because sincere feeling is priceless! I believe that true pay will have sincere return finally, and the one who have true love can have his or her happiness.

Nowadays,more and more people have been pressed to lose their breath by the reality.They forgot the persons they love,and the persons who love them.We need to care about others,no matter how much money we have.What our loved one need is how our concern about him or her. In some important days,dont forget to bring him or her some gifts.No matter what is it,how valuable is it,he or she would like it anyway.

Because it is the gift of the Magi.

Crazily, but truthfully, I finished reading the most part of the novel "A Tale of Two Cities" in just one day. Lost in the story, I felt like being together with the characters and experiencing the same exciting events. Soon it came to an end. To tell you my feelings, its infinite sadness and a strong emotion that can drive me to cry.

The story is set in London and Paris at the time of the great French Revolution. It shows the causes of revolution and its effects on peoples day-to-day lives. Before the revolution, the King and the aristocracy treated their people cruelly in France. The common people were extremely poor and miserable. The crops in the fields were poor as if even the land shared the misery of the people. And there were so heavy taxes that all the villagers had nothing to hand over at last. On the other hand, the aristocracy made their will as the law by using money and gold. There were no justice, no equality and no fairness. Just as what happened to Dr Manette,he wrote to the Minister to show the crime what Marquis Evremonde had done, resulting in himself being arrested and sent to the prison Bastille without any reason.

Then this situation of darkness was needed to be changed. As people such as the Defarges prepared and arranged, at length the Revolution came to break out. When the Bastille was captured and the King was tried and put to death as well as many other aristocrats, things didnt go on as what they had been expected. The situation stayed the same, or even worse. The prisoners from the Bastille were set free while more prisons were filled with people who had done no wrong again. People who once lived on the bottom of class took the charge now and their heart had been full of evil. The only thing they wanted to do was to revenge. And these so-called "patriots" would like to see more and more innocent prisoners going to the guillotine and thats their joy. As the novel wrote,” In everything they did were merciless, for they had been hardened in the fires of suffering and the touch of pity could make no mark on them".

Equality and fairness is what people seek,which led to the French Revolution.As a consequence,neither equality nor fairness was got after the revolution.And thats the tragedy of the history.I was heavyhearted when reading what Sydney Carton said before death and I burst into tears finally.
