改写是把一篇文章按照一定的要求或需要变成另外一篇文章。改写不同于缩写，缩写只概括和紧缩内容，而改写在内容上允许调整，允许取舍，形式上鼓励创新；改写不同于扩写，扩写需要增添内容，允许想象，而改写不要求增添内容，而是将内容进行调整。改写实质上是以原作作为题材进行再创作，重在一个“改”字上。

改写的要求：首先，改写的原则是基本上不改内容，而改变表达形式。在内容上，既要体现原作精神，又可对原作酌情变动，但绝不是另外写一篇文章。第二，在形式上，改写是多种多样的，可以改变体裁，如把诗歌改成记叙文，把剧本改写成故事等等；可以改变表达方式，如把记叙改变为描写，把说明改为记叙等；可以改变语言，如文言改为白话；可以改变结构，如倒叙改为顺叙，插叙改为顺叙等，可以改变人称，如第一人称改为第三人称，第二人称改为第一人称等；还可以改变中心人物等。

实际上，改写的过程是一个新的构思过程，全新剪裁，全新布局的过程，是一次有难度的写作训练。

例改写《石壕吏》，将其改为记叙文。

改写《石壕吏》

要求：把杜甫的《石壕吏》改写在1000字的散文。

“千里无鸡鸣，白骨露于野”，这是战乱的岁月。诗人杜甫从洛阳向华州赶路。一天，天色已经昏暗，诗人错过了旅店，只好投宿在石壕村了。

村中断壁残垣，蓬蒿满地，十室九空，杜甫望见村东一户人家冒着炊烟，便直奔前去。

房东是一对年逾花甲的老夫妇，还有一个寡媳和尚未断奶的小孙孙。他们衣着破旧，大人小孩都面黄肌瘦。

由于一天的奔波，诗人和衣躺在炕上，很快就进入了梦乡。约摸二更时分，村中一阵犬吠，随着街上响起了急促的打门声和叫骂声。杜甫被惊醒，借着惨淡的月光向外窥看。听着外面的叫骂声和哭喊声，他知道又是抓壮丁的来了。

这时，诗人看见房东老头儿披着衣服，翻过院墙逃走了。接着破旧的大门被拍得叭叭乱响，“开门！开门！人都睡死了吗？”凶狠的叫骂声使人心惊肉跳。老太太哆哆嗦嗦地走到门口，颤抖着双手拉开了门栓。

差吏们进来了。他们凶暴地向老太太吼叫着：“你们家的男人呢？叫他快出来！”老太太哭泣着向差吏们哀求道：“长官，我家里原有三个儿子，现在都到邺城当兵去了。最近小儿子捎信来说，他的两个哥哥都死在战场上了。唉，死了的，也就完了，不再受罪了。我活着的，先混吧，说不上哪一天也……您可怜可怜我这……”

“老东西，罗嗦什么！我问你，你家还有什么人？”一个差吏打断她的哭诉，怒喝道。

“就剩下吃奶的孙子了。儿媳因此忍苦守寡，为的就是这一根苗……”

一个差吏没听老太太说完，就挥动鞭子，要往西屋里闯。

老太太眼看哀求无用，媳妇就要被抓走，只得把心一横，拦住差吏说：“老总，我们媳妇她，她连一条完整的裙子都没有啊！怎能出去应差！你们一定要人，我老婆子虽然老了，给军队做饭烧水还能应付。你们就带走我吧！我现在就跟你们走，也许还来得及到河阳给军队做早饭呢！”

差吏们骂骂咧咧地带着老太婆走出了院子。惨淡的月光下，老太太回头望望自己破旧的茅屋，哭着随差吏们匆匆而去。

杜甫目睹了这一幕，再也没有睡意了。

夜渐渐深了，小小的村庄万籁俱寂。然而在诗人的耳边，仿佛仍回响着老太太凄楚的哭诉声，西屋里也像隐隐传出了呜咽声……

天蒙蒙亮了，老头悄悄地溜进家门。当他听到老伴儿被抓走的消息后，不禁捶胸顿足，痛不欲生。

面对这令人心碎的现实，杜甫能用什么话语安慰他呢？诗人只是默默地送给他少许零碎银子，便又匆匆地踏上了旅程。

把诗歌改成记叙文，要注意诗歌的语言高度凝练，因此在改写时要在合理想象的基础上，补充上诗歌中所蕴含的情节，比如诗人与老翁相见时肯定说了很多话，可是诗人没有写，为什么，作者在改写时就要去考虑诗歌的安排。另外，诗歌的语言跳跃性较大，改写时就必须注意情节的照应。

1. 改变句子的开头方式,不是一味地都是主语开头,接着是谓语、宾语,最后再加一个状语。可以把状语置于句首,或用分词作状语等。试比较:

2. 在整篇文章中,避免只使用一两个句式,要灵活运用诸如强调句、主从复合句、分词短语、倒装句、省略句等。例如:

(修正) It is the dog that has saved my little sister bravely.

(2)主从复合句

(原文) We had to stand there to catch the offender.

(修正) What we had to do was to stand there, trying to catch the offender.

(3)分词短语、由with或without引导的短语

(原文) The driver escaped and didn’t stop, he left the old man lying on the road.

(修正) The driver escaped without stopping, leaving the old man lying on the road.

(4)倒装句

(原文) I went to bed at 11:30.

(修正) Not until 11:30 did I go to bed.

(5)省略句

3. 通过分句和合句,增强句子的连贯性和表现力。例如:

(原文) He stopped us an hour ago. He made us catch the next offender.

(修正) He stopped us half an hour ago and made us catch the next offender.

(原文) We had a short rest. Then we began to play happily. We sang and danced.

(修正) After a short rest, we had great fun singing and dancing.

4. 注意连接词与句子的运用。

以2001年高考作文为例,在信的开头,可加上“You want to know something about what is going on in schools in China?”这句话起承上启下的作用,使文章过渡自然;再如,用“What was worse?”引出减负前,晚上还要做作业,就寝时间11:30等要点。又如,“Now I have more free time...” 可引出减负后的情况。另外,在信的结尾,可用“How about you? I’m looking forward to hearing from you.”来自然地结束这封信。

5. 使用过渡词语。

写好了每个句子,并不一定就是一篇好文章,因为作为一篇文章,还必须行文连贯。那么,如何使文章行文连贯呢?这就要求我们在组成篇章时,要用好过渡性词语,过渡性词语就像是我们组装机械时使用的润滑剂一样,起着润滑的作用。常用的过渡词语主要有:

并列递进:and, also, as well as, besides, what’s more, furthermore, moreover, etc.

转折:but, yet, however, although, nevertheless, in spite of, after all, etc.

因果:because, as, for, since, for this reason, because of, so, therefore, thus, as a result, etc.

对比:or, otherwise, like, unlike, on the contrary, while, on the other hand, instead of, etc.

总结:in all, in brief, on the whole, in short, in general, in one word, etc.

1 明白说明文的六大要素

大家都知道，写记叙文，必须具备记叙文的六个要素，才能写成一篇记叙文，而且说明文和记叙文一样，也必须掌握说明文的要素才能写好，其要素归纳起来也不外乎如下六个方面：

（1）说明对象。

（2）被说明对象的特征。

（3）说明方式。

（4）说明顺序。

（5）说明方法。

（6）被说明对象的性质，性能功用，成因市里及内部关系等。

2 清楚写好一篇说明文需要具备的六个条件

这就是说，要想写好一篇说明文，至少得具备六个条件，那么又如何使用这六个条件呢？

第一，明确说明对象是什么？这要求你清楚地告诉读者，你要说明一个什么事物。

第二，被说明对象有何特征，什么是特征呢？所谓特征就是这一事物区别于其他事物的标志，因为，任何一个事物，都有其自身的特征，只有抓住它的特征，才能从本质上把说明的事物与其他事物区别开来，这样你才能把被说明的对象说清楚，从而达到说明的目的，例如，食物从何处来一文，作者就抓住被说明对象，食物来源的根本特征，植物靠自养，动物和大部分微生物靠益阳，极少部分的细菌靠化学能来合成，从而在本质上说明了食物来源这一深奥的事理。如果作者没有抓住这一特征，恐怕浪费了很多的笔墨也难以说清楚，因此要想写好一篇说明文，掌握被说明对象的特征是极其重要的，但是要准确的有条理地说明事物的特征，首先必须对事物有个清楚的认识，在生活中观察体验，参加实践，深入研究，坚持不懈地记取，是我们认识事物的根本途径，在这方面的例子是不乏其人的，伟大的物候学家，竺可桢，坚持不懈的观察记录，写出了大自然的诺言，周树人认真观察，写出了生动有趣的蜘蛛。因此，观察观察再观察，认识认识再认识，才能认清事物的特征。

第三，根据被说明事物的自身特征确定署名方式，既平实说明，生动说明两种方式，平实说明语言简练准确，通俗易懂，不带有描写的成分，例如，统筹方法，生动说明带有描写的成分，用词准确传神，把抽象的事物形象化，具体化，给人的感觉既生动活泼又形象，有趣味，例如，看云识天气，有时还可以把平实说明，和生动说明二者结合起来，这样会收到相得益彰的效果，例如，周建人写蜘蛛一文，在介绍蜘蛛吐丝的生理，机制时，运用了生物学上的术语，并作了科学的说明，这是平实说明。在介绍蜘蛛在网上，一幕幕紧张激烈捕捉蚊蝇的战斗场景时，作者运用了生动说明，这样语言准确，生动又形象，增强了文章的说明效果，使读者不仅有所知而且有所感，更觉有趣，总之，说明方式，根据说明对象的特征可灵活运用。

第四，确定说明顺序，因为说明对象不同，所以说明顺序也会相应的不同，可归纳为三大类，一是，按时间顺序写，包括程序说明，例如，从甲骨文到口袋图书馆。二是，按空间顺序写，空间顺序又分为从上到下，由内到外，从左到右或从右到左，从中间到两边，从前到后货，按从东西南北方位写。例如故宫博物院，人民大会堂。三是按逻辑顺序写，所谓逻辑顺序，就是按照事物的关系安排先后次序，例如海光。

总之，说明顺序只有安排合理，才能使文章条理分明，能给人一个说清楚完整的印象。

第五，恰当地运用说明方法，常用的说明方法有，下定义，分类别，举例子，作比较，打比喻列数字，配备图表等。至于用什么方法来说明事物，这是动笔之前必须考虑的。没有恰到好处的说明方法，也达不到说明的目的，究竟用哪种或哪几种说明方法？要由被说明对象的特征来决定，例如，食物从何处来一文，作者将生物获得食物的途径，作为分类的标准，分为自养和异养两大类，接着，又以获得食物的方法为标准来进一步，说明，自养型，认为靠光合作用的，和不靠光合作用的两类，易养型的分为不能加工改造植物的，动物和能加工改造的人类两类，这样层层分类说明不仅符合科学原理，而且条理分明，作者在分类说明的同时，行，文中还运用了打比喻，举例子下定义列数字的说明方法，这种恰当的综合运用，大大的增强了说明的效果，总而言之，说明方法，不能一概而论，而要根据被说明事物的特征，从实际的需要出发，去恰当地运用。

第六，根据说明的对象不同，可分为十五说明，事理说明，程序说明三大类，实物说明要根据说明的对象的特征，侧重说明事物的性质，类别，状态性能，功用、成因等。事理说明要说明有关事物的内部关系，程序说明要写清楚操作步骤的先后顺序。

3 合理安排命题和安排说明文的结构

命题方式，题目一般是直接揭示要说明的对象，这是说明文最常用的命题方法，例如，机器人，统筹方法等。有了题目，又具备了材料，还要有完整的结构形式。

说明文常用的结构形式有四种：

（1）并列式，各层次间的关系是平等并列的，例如，《南州6月荔枝丹》。

（2）递进式，后面的说明是在前边说明的基础上做进一步的说明，各层次之间的关系由浅入深，例如《向沙漠进军》，作者竺可桢先说明沙漠对人类的危害，接着说明人类征服沙漠的方法，最后指出在社会主义制度下，人类征服沙漠的美好前景。

（3）总分式，先总体来说，后面几层再分开说，或者前几层先分开说，然后再总起来说，例如，巍巍中山陵，作者对陵园建筑，按空间顺序，由总到分来说明。

（4）连贯式，各层次之间按照事物的发展过程或按因果条件等关系，安排层次，前后互相承接，例如，景泰蓝制作，当然这几种结构形式有时单独运用，有时综合运用，大城市之间按照一种结构形式安排每层，中小城市可采取另一种结构形式，总之要灵活运用，达到结构严谨完整的目的。

说明文用途十分广泛，对工业农业科技，商业和人们的日常生活都有很大的实用价值，人们利用他来为自己服务，指导着日常的工作学习和生活，因此，写好说明文是很重要的，是现代化生活对每个人提出的要求。

仔细阅读书面表达题所给材料的全部内容，准确理解题目要求。需要认真审查的内容有：(1)文章的开头和结尾是否已给出；(2)用第几人称写作，书面表达要求中会明确指出使用第一人称还是第三人称；(3)提供的情景是图画、图表，还是提纲，如果是连环画，要注意故事情节的连贯性，确定合理的情节发展；(4)是否提供参考词汇，如果提供有参考词汇，写作中最好要用到；(5)采用什么文体，如果是议论文，要有论点、论据和结论三部分。如果是应用文，要注意其格式。如果是记叙文，要抓住六个要素：时间、地点、人物、事件、事情起因、事情的发展与结果。

2．恰当选择词语和句式

认真审题后，就可以列提纲了，将重点单词、短语、句型写在提纲里，关于选词切忌使用生僻词语，要求做到用词准确、得体、达意。选择句式时，尽量使用多种句式，如强调句、倒装句、各种名词性从句、定语从句、状语从句和固定句型等，长句和短句视情况交错使用，这样可以提高文章的档次，使文章生辉。

According to my memory, my high school life was full of happiness and fortune because of my lovely friend and teacher. They are sunshine in my high school life.

根据记忆，我的高中生活充满了幸福和运气，因为有可爱的朋友和老师。他们是我高中生活的阳光。

I met my best friend in senior one. She is a girl with long legs, white skin, and small face. What makes me a deep impression is her wide shoulder, wider than other girls who have the same height as her. She was kind, treating me just like I was her sister. I didn’t live in school dormitory, but she did. So, I slept with her at noon. Sometimes we argued, but we both checked our mistakes and recovered our relationship soon. When we were senior two, I moved in school dormitory, I didn’t feel comfortable in there very fast. She took care of me and made me feel warm. In my opinion, she is more than a friend, like a family.

在高一的时候我遇到了我最好的朋友。她是一个女孩，有着一条长长的腿，白皙的皮肤和小小的脸蛋。她比同身高的女生都要宽的宽宽的肩膀让我印象深刻。她很善良，对我就像是她妹妹一样。我不在学校宿舍住，但是她在。所以，中午我和她一起睡。有时候我们会争吵，但我们都自我反省，之后我们的关系很快就会恢复了。当我们高二的时候，我搬到学校宿舍住，很快我就觉得不舒服。她照顾我，让我感到很温暖。在我看来，她不止是朋友，也是家人。

As for my teachers, my chemistry teacher is my favorite teacher. She is a woman with sweet smile, not so tall, but she built a tall imagination in my heart. I used to chat with her result from my failure in the exam. She is a divorced woman; however, she was steel, living a happy life with her daughter. I appreciate people with a strong heart, maybe the reason is that I want to be the kind of person who is always optimistic and can’t be defeated easily. She expresses that.

至于我的老师，我最喜欢的老师是我的化学老师。她是一个女老师，总是挂着甜美的微笑，她不是很高，但她在我的心里却是伟大的形象。我曾经因为考试不及格而和她聊天。她是一个离了婚的女人;然而，她却像钢铁一样坚强，和她的女儿过着幸福的生活。我很欣赏拥有一颗坚强的心的人，也许是因为我想成为一个永远乐观，不轻易被打败的人。她说道。

The high school memory is a valuable memory in my life. It’s my fortune to meet them, my sunshine.
