When we read newspapers, we often come across the wordPollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to us because.it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. When people drink the water from such rivers, they get poisoned. Besides, there is rubbish from ships and when sometimes an accident occurs in an ocean, oil flows out from tankers.

On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

If we do mot fight against pollution, surely one day all of us will be killed. Some people like to put the blame on the industrial revolutions. On the contrary, the pollution problem will be solved only with the help of modem science and technology.

Thereare many holidays in a year. Among them, the holiday I like most is

theChildren’s Day. Children’s Day is on the June First. In school, we have

manyactivities to celebrate it. For example, our school often holds a garden

partyon that day. We can play various games and get awards if we win. It’s the

mostpopular activity in my school. Besides, we can watch movies or hold a

smallparty in our class. We often buy some snacks and fruits to eat. It’s

My mother is very good at raising plants and flowers. We have plants and flowers indoors and outdoors all the year round. Nowadays there are still many behaviors against public morality, such as

spiting or littering in public places, cutting in line, wasting water or

electricity and so on.

One of the main reasons for these immoral behaviors is that some people

lack personal manners and public consciousness. Actually these small things in

many peoples eyes have brought great bad effects on our community. Above all,

these immoral behaviors disturb social order and disrupt socialsbility.

Moreover, ones violating public morality not only evades others benefits but

also does harm to himself. For example, if most people buy pirated products,

those original producers will suffer great damage and might lose the enthusiasm

to continue their producing. Which in turn, influences consumers taking the

profits into consideration, I think it is high time that we would take more

effective measures to improve public morals.

First of all, education plays a very vital role. We must utilize education

to make people know their behaviors influence on the society and follow public

morals consciously. Besides the government should improve the administration

system and ensure the efficient improvement of administration measures.

As a college student,I can be responsible to say that all my classmates dream about getting a satisfying job,and devote themselves to this career in an perfect environment.Certainly I am not an exception too,though nowadays there is a growing employment pressure . For many students, a satisfying work environment may be the aim of four-year college life,I also hope I can work in a colorful and competitive climate in the future .At first,I can get a handsome salary so that I live a comfortable life .Although salary is not the main factor , most of people they cannot neglect salary,because job with low salary cannot hold water for the young men . Whats more, I can learn more working experience and get a wide view to increase my knowledge，because I think there is no limit to knowledge and if one person wants to take a great progress in his career learning is the only way .In finally ,I hope I can meet a competitive opponent.There was a saying by Charles darwin:” It is not the strongest of the species that survive,but the one most responsive to change”.So I think competition is conducive to progress. My mother is very kind and easygoing. She helps me a lot. She takes good care of my daily life. For example, every morning, she wakes me up and cooks breakfast for me. When I’m in trouble, She always encourages me to face my difficulties and cheers up. I still remember that once I argued with my best friend and was upset. there are various kinds of jobs in the world, such as writing, nursing, teaching and engineering. but different people choose different jobs as their ideal careers. this is because everyone has his own interest.

as for me, i have made up my mind to be a teacher. i choose to do so mainly for three reasons. first, i want to teach because i like the pace of academic calendar. two long vacations offer me an opportunity for reflection, research and writing. secondly, i want to teach because i like the freedom to make my own mistakes, to learn my own lesson, to stimulate myself and my students. and i can have the opportunity to keep on learning. finally, i want to teach because, being around the students who are beginning to grow and change in front of me, i will grow and change with them too.

but teaching is no easy job at all. i must study cleverly to obtain more knowledge. and, at the same time, i will make every effort to purify my soul so that i can become an architect of man’s soul.
