军训，其实也有和谐欢乐的一面，在辛苦的军训中，教官总是会想尽办法让大家娱乐一下，让大家紧张疲劳的心得到一点舒缓，教官想出一个绝招，让全排每个宿舍的人都上前表演一个节目，和我想的一样，大家都很腼腆，果然到了第二个宿舍就断了，现在回想起来，总是觉得心里也怕怕的，其实我也是内向型的，一般不在人前表现，会很紧张的，现在要学会的就是克服这一弱点。

军训生活才刚开始，我建议那些喊苦和累的同学要好好坚持下去，其实军训不苦，只要有顽强意志，军训会变的很弱小。

这只是我这几天的军训感悟，觉得少了点什么，我会在接下来的几天中慢慢领悟的。

同学们都了解，今年是辛亥革命100周年。100年前的中国，统治者腐败无能，具有悠久历史和文明的中华民族，不得不一次又一次地忍受割地、赔款的耻辱，辫子、鸦片枪成为外国人眼中中国落后的标志。以孙中山为领袖的一大批仁人志士，以鲜血和头颅为代价，承担起革命的责任，结束了中国两千多年的君主专制制度，挽救了民族危亡。

同学们也知道，去年中国已成为国民生产总值位居世界第二的经济大国，今天的世界事务如果没有中国的参与与贡献是不可想象的。100年的变化可谓天翻地覆，其中饱含了几代中国人的抗争与自强不息，一代又一代中华民族的脊梁担当起了民族复兴的信念与责任，并为之不懈奋斗。

在中国科大53年的办学历程中，几代科大人也在中华百年巨变中承担起了自己应尽的一份责任，始终以科教报国为己任，在人才培养和科技创新方面为国家作出了重要的贡献，并形成了“追求卓越、创新求实”的学风与传统。“五十年的实践证明，中国科大的历史就是一部爱国史、奋斗史和创业史。”

同学们从中学生到大学生，意味着开始独立承担责任。

承担责任首先要理解使命。德国哲学家费希特说过，一个社会的知识精英的进步决定着人类发展的一切其他领域的进步，他应该永远走在前头为其他领域开辟道路。也就是说，精英意味着承担更多的责任。正如我校数学系首任系主任的华罗庚先生，1950年毅然放弃美国伊利诺伊大学终身教授职位，回到百废待兴的祖国，参加建设，并发表公开信说：“梁园虽好，非久居之乡。归去来兮……为了国家民族，我们应当回去。”今天，中国已是一个经济大国，但在通向一个文明、富裕的强国道路上，仍有许多困难和挑战，从依赖资源消耗、廉价人力的发展模式转变为通过科技进步与创新的可持续发展模式，是中国发展的必然选择。你们身处这样一个时代，作为中国科大的一员，就应该承担起科技兴国的责任，自觉地将个人理想与国家、社会的需要紧密地结合起来，只有树立起远大的理想，才能够克服各种困难，做到追求卓越。

承担责任就要挑战自我。同学们高考成绩优异，但考分仅在一定程度上反映高中掌握知识的程度和应试技巧。从中学进入大学，大家在生活、学习上将面临很大的转折，需要不断挑战自我。进入大学后，同学们的考试成绩可能有高有低，但考分将不再是衡量你们学习的唯一标准;中学的应试教育是书本知识的被动积累，大学的学习必须变被动为主动，主动学习不仅意味着自由，也更需要自律。在大学四年的学习生活中，同学们会面临各种各样的机会，还由于身处一个高度物质化与信息化的时代，也存在许多诱惑，甚至浮躁，同学们要学会选择，学会放弃。每年都会有个别同学由于沉溺网络游戏，而不得不中断学业，令人惋惜。所以同学们要禁得起网游的诱惑、懒惰的潜滋暗长，随时警醒自己，投入有目标的学习与实践之中，有舍才会有得。同学们还要学会坚持，不管遇到什么困难，都不要轻言放弃，并坚定自己的目标一直前行。2011届物理系毕业生朱林晓同学，大学期间曾因病卧床两个月，但他没有中断学习，而是在病床上同步自学课程，并坚持参加期末考试，正是由于这种坚持与努力，他最终获得中国科大学生的最高荣誉——郭沫若奖学金。

承担责任更需要提高能力。能力不是生来就有的，而是在学习和实践中逐步培养起来的。科大将为大家提供良好的学习与实践条件，有大师的传道授业，有丰富的科技与人文课程，有学导的答疑解惑，有一流的研究设施，还有丰富多彩的社团活动让大家展现自我的个性与风采。但能力的培养与锻炼，不仅仅在于课堂内的听讲，也在于阅读中的思考，科研中的锻炼，社会实践中的体会、讨论与交流中的启发，以及同学相处的互助与包容。希望同学们能够利用好学校丰富的资源和条件，在课堂内外培养和锻炼自己，教学相长，学学相长，真正做到“理实交融、红专并进”。

There is a famous saying goes like that “Knowledge is a treasure, but practice is the key to it.” This saying shows the relationship between knowledge and practice vividly.

As far as we know, if we don’t have corresponding knowledge of some fields, we cannot do well in the fields. There are innumerable examples to illustrate this point. For instance, a singer can sing well only if he or she possesses musical knowledge; a dancer can dance well only if he or she knows how to dance; a worker can get the job well-done only if he or she is familiar with the basic principles of the job, and so on. For most university students, dormitory life is a new experience. Most students have never lived far away from their parents before coming to university. They have always had their parents to depend on for advice and guidance, and when they become university students, their lives begin to change.

There are striking difference between home life and dormitory life. Student must begin to be responsible for their own action. They must depend on themselves to get up in the morning on, time for class, to eat properly, to keep their clothes and themselves clean ,and to set aside an appropriate amount of time for study and relaxation. They must also learn to take care of their money, making sure to preserve enough for both necessities and for fun.

In general, there are both good and bad points about life in student dormitory. Often, dormitory?rooms are small and crowded. This lack of space can limit ones privacy and make it?difficult for students to concentrate on their studies. On the other hand, in a dormitory, student have a great deal more freedom than?they might have at home. They can act according to their own will and desire than to that of parents.

Some think we should try to help strangers. Helping others is a virtue，and

helping others is helping ourselves.We may come across some trouble and need

others help some day.If everyone isnt willing to help us just because we are

strangers to them，its hard to imagine what our world will be like.However，some

are afraid that helping others can sometimes bring us trouble.Sometimes we are

should try our best to help others when they are in need of help，but we should

In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. I am Andrea. Perhaps the word "average" can best describe me. I am of average heigHt, average weight and of average complexion. I have a thin face, double-lid eyes and a pointed nose. My hair is black, short and straight. I have never worn my hair long.I look like both my mother and

lam a teacher, and I like my job. I believe her or his students can sometimes teach a teacher. Actually I have learnt a lot from my own teaching experience and my students. As a sophomore, I am feeling the time flies. Recalling about the past one year, so many thoughts are flooding in my mind. At this time, I just can’t tell my real idea. The memory is just like so fresh, and all the things happened yesterday!

When first day I came to University, I really feel that the school is very good, but at the first sight of the dormitory, something disappointing come up to me! The condition of the dormitory is really very poor with only one room, no lavatory! I saw something sad in my father’s eyes, maybe that time he thought of the poor condition! So with a big smile on my face, I told my father” it doesn’t matter, Dad. In this kind of condition, I will get myself better!” My father felt better. But when he was coming back, seeing his back, I just wanted to cry! I felt in this city I was just isolated, from that time, I said to myself, “ you have no others who can help you here, just depend on yourself”

And then I came to my dormitory 303. I considered that I would spend four years here (in fact I moved to another one year later) and my dorm mates are all there. Most of them came from Sichuan and they were chatting with a happy voice, but I can’t understand them! Again, I felt myself isolated! I hated that kind of feeling, and then I said to hello to them! To my surprise they are very friendly to me and warm-hearted! I no longer felt afraid. And I got along well with them. But at the first night here, I burst out to tears for that I was missing my family. I don’t know why. Everyday when I was at home, I was just eager to go to school, to experience the wonderful college life but when coming here, I am just eager to go back! It’s quite strange though, you must know this kind of feeling!

Just spending about 2 days here, we were on our way to military train. To us, it’s a fresh train and a kind of experience to know the life between the classmates. But to me, I was nervous but excited. This was my first and precious train life because before going to school I have been staying with my family. So, you know, it’s just this kind of feeling I can’t convey it clearly! The train life is impressive on everybody; we had a lot of activities, for example giving a speech on a stage or singing together or playing basketball. At that time, I felt myself so little among them. All of them have a special talent but not me. I admired them but meanwhile jealousy. Why don’t I have this kind of talent? Am I stupid? I always said to myself. So that time I was also very ambitious, just eager to catch up with them. Except the classmates, the trainer in our team also left a deep impression on me! He was not very handsome and very kind. Just because of his kindness results in my laughter when training. He always said to me that I should be serious in the team but I didn’t listen to him. So after a long time, when investigating the training result, I gave them a disappointing answer. The highest trainer sent me to clean the toilet, although, it didn’t means insulting to my dignity, but I was really sad about myself and my heart was hurt. That was a small thing but told me that I need to be serious to one thing. And unhappiness passed, the happy and funny time recalled me that folding the blanket. Yeah, it’s really very funny. Most of us had never folded the blanket and naturally we can’t accomplish the task well. When the monitor came, we pleased him to help us to fold the blanket. To our expect, we managed to persuade the monitor. After the monitor finished the task for me. I dared not to touch the blanket again and just used the clothes instead of the blanket. Of course, I felt very cold in deep night, so to my instinct, I crashed into my classmate’s blanket. And we were scratching the single blanket fiercely, just like a war. (Writing here I can’t help laughing out loudly).

If life is a book, then the university life is the most beautiful color in the book; if life is a drama, then the university life is the most wonderful scene of the play, if life is a long journey from birth to death; then we have a college life, can see the most splendid scenery.
