As time goes on, you can easily see on the table the beautiful lavenders or lilies stretching themselves in their own fragrant smell, the shining toaster popping out warm tasty toast, or the little drops of water glittering under bright sunshine after your mom wipes the table. Don’t you just love to see every phase of the moon even when they are not that high up in the sky?

Well, I do. Being a 5 ft 10 myself, I am also taking the advantage of buying a larger outfit at a same price. Also, I get a cleaner view of the blackboard even when sitting far away from it. I run faster, jump higher and can think positively. I am proud to say that I possess the ability to see the upside of almost everything. I guess it is because I am closer to the clear blue sky above our heads.

My college is inside the biggest university of Guangxi so that everytime I have to across a big campus to go out. At first I am upset about that, but later on I get used to it. My college looks modernization in general. When I arrive at the school gate, the first thing is the boys’ dormitory and then is the playground. Look up! I see the canteen. I see the girls’ dormitory turn left. But where is my classroom? I look around but can’t find it. It turns out that it is separated by burrows. It’s strange, right? whats your plan for dragon boat festival?

As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and cant see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi. My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldnt buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didnt make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentines day, April Fools Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, its the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witchs Day in Czech. People burned the witchs puppet so as to welcome spring. Some people are willing to celebrate foreign festivals because they like alien culture. And vice versa, foreigners who like China also concern about Chinese traditional culture.

After new holiday regulation, we have three holidays during the dragon boat festival. So many people will choose this time to travel. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but Id like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, its really a big project. Then Ill hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I cant finish them before Christmas eve. Although I’m still a freshman in this new semester, I’ve learned a lot from the past few months. I chose English as my major because I extremely love this subject so that I will continuously devote myself into it. 对于我来说，口算是我的强项，每一次考试，口算我都能吃满分，但是，有时候列竖式计算，有时候会有小小的差错，应用题也会出现理解错误的情况，针对这些方面，我对自己设计出来了一份新学期学习计划。

对于老师布置的作业，我也会认真对待，字体工整。如果遇到了问题，我就会绞尽脑汁地去想，知道把它想出来为止。写完之后，我也会认真检查。有做错的题，我会把它们收集到“纠错本”上，到考试的时候，我就把它拿出来，看看我的弱点在哪里。

我还会在课余时间，给自己布置一些作业，比如：做一些口算题卡，读一些数学家的故事和关于数学的书籍，以丰富自己的数学知识。

每次讲新课前，我都会主动预习课本，准备好材料，并把课后题补充完整。

我不仅要预习，还要及时复习。我会把老师讲的重点看一遍，顺便背一背运算公式，做五道典型习题，这样才可以巩固自己的学习知识。

为了拓展自己的知识面，我每周星期六都会去上奥数。每周至少要做5道奥数题。

争取通过本学期的努力，在中段考试和期末考试中，取得前三名。

1.进一步加强理论学习，更新教学理念，抽出时间学习新理论，以先进的教育理念指导自己的教育教学实践，本学期要学习有关有效教学资料以及改进评价内容和评价方法的资料，努力做到关注学生学业成就的同时，还要关注学生情感态度、行为方式的发展，注重培养学生综合实践的能力，全面提高学生的素质。

2.进一步落实与深化教学常规，聚焦常态课堂，打造高效课堂。按计划上好公开课，要求集体备课，及时评课，找出不足，共同学习，共同促进，以学生的主体作用为重点来实现高效课堂。同时，带领大家力求做到有效备课、有效上课、有效作业、有效培优补差，鼓励成员充分发挥教学特长，有效提高教学效率。

3.加强集体备课仍是本学期教研组工作的重点，因此要做到有计划、有目标、有实效，不走形式，各备课组本学期至少活动五次以上，时间固定，围绕主题，并有活动记录。以集体力量、集体智慧来提高全组成员的业务水平和教育教学能力。

4.初三备考是重中之重，加强初三毕业班工作的研究，提高毕业班教学效率，组织全组成员认真学习《中考说明》、《导引》和中考试卷分析材料，加强对中考动向的信息收集和试题研究。抓好听、说、读、写综合技能的培养，特别注重学生阅读、写作和应试能力的训练，力争顺利打响中考第一仗，争创中考英语成绩新辉煌。

5.加强科研文化建设，让研究成为习惯。研究能改变教师的生存状态，努力创设研究文化。本学期积极响应学校的科教研活动，开展一系列有关有效备课专题的活动：听说课的有效备课、阅读课的有效备课、复习课的有效备课。

6.继续建设本学科的资源库。建立学科的资源库，确实是一个利人利己的好举措。不断地添入新的资源，不断优化和建设资源库。

7.继续开展多样的学生活动，吸引学生的眼球,使学生更关注英语学习，营造有利于学生健康成长的学习环境。

总之，在校长室、教研室的带领下，我们英语组全体组员会开拓进取，不断完善自己，将教学质量放首位，为学校的教育事业贡献力量。

随着炎炎暑假的离开，接踵而至的就是新学期了。新学期，新印象。进入这个学期，我就是一名初二的学生了，就不再是个还充满着天真跟稚气的小女孩。老师说，初二是初中里最关键的一年，一定要把握好这年的学习，这关系的中考。这些话，总让我的心汹涌澎湃，让人期待，让人兴奋！

既然是新学期，我也要拿出新的计划来好好学习。以下是我主要的新学期的计划：

1、关于课前，必须得好好预习，用查资料的方式来提前知道书本上讲的是什么，需要我们巩固的是什么，要牢记的是什么，要了解的是什么。

2、关于上课的时候，要认真上课，思维要跟着老师的思维想问题，并且还要积极举手答问，做好笔记，不能开小差，更不许上课讨论一些跟课堂无关的事情。

3、关于课后，时不时要温习一下所学过的知识。还可以再拓展课外的知识，所谓“读书百遍，其义自见”。温习时，若还是有不懂的问题，要与同学讨论，或直接请教老师。

4、与同学们要跟谐相处，不能因为一点小事就打“冷战”，对任何事情要用一颗宽容的心去包容他人。就算不是自己的错，也要好好地跟同学解释清楚。初中的朋友是最纯结的，没有利益关系的存在，对友谊没有多大的影响。要珍惜现在的友谊，对朋友同学要真挚诚恳。

5、对老师长辈要尊重，我要以微笑去对待所有长辈老师。在成长路上，是他们一路陪伴着我们，像一展照明灯一般，照亮我们的前方。

记得很小的时候，自己就是一个“很不安分”的孩子。家中的物件小到电筒、闹钟，大到收音机、电风扇等，都被我无数次地拆装过，为此我没少挨过父母的责骂。然而多次的责骂最终也没能使我的这一兴趣得以丝毫改变。

进入小学以后，自己的兴趣和爱好更加广泛起来。在老师的培养下，我在学校组织的计算机竞赛中多次获得优异成绩，三年级的自己在全市中小学生象棋比赛中获得了排名第一的好成绩。

自打初中开设了物理科目以后，自己仿佛一下子进入了兴趣世界的天堂。奇幻奥妙的物理世界叫人目不暇接，留连忘返，物理实验课更是成了我的最爱，优异的物理成绩使得自己年年成为了班里的物理课代表。然而在老师的提醒和敦促下，自己并没有因为对物理的强烈喜爱而偏废其它科目，最终以极其优异的成绩考入了第一中学的理科实验班。

“书山有路勤为径，学海无涯苦作舟”。实验班三年紧张而快乐的学习生活既让我深切体味到了畅游学海的酣畅，又让我真正品味出了攀登书山的艰辛。面对频繁举行的省市级物理学科竞赛和各项考试，自己像一名精神饱满斗志昂扬的战士，随时准备着投入拼搏与厮杀。

几年来尽管自己在中学物理学科的学习上取得了一点点成绩(曾获......一等奖;......二等奖;......)但我深知这是极其微不足道的。我时常感到自己像一个孩子，茫然地站在浩瀚的知识海洋边，面对着面前博大的未知世界，眼中充满了渴求与企盼......

How to adapt youself to college life

There are obvious differences between high school life and college life. First,college students will live in the dormitory with classmates who come from various places, and who may have different living habits. Second,college teachers ,instead of explaning in detail how to solve every problem, might only tell different approaches to the problem, and leave students to study and solve problems independently. Finally, in college,there is more free time for students to spend on.

However how should the college freshman adapt himself to these differeces. First of all, he should learn to be tolerant and consider more for others,which is necessary for group living. Moreover he should take active part in collective activities and make more communication with classmates and teachers. It will help he be smoothly integrated with your new environment. Besides,as to study,he should develop a good habit of self-teaching and learn to arrange study independently. Of course,it may take a freshman some while to become accustomed to the study and life in college. However, we all have to accept constant challenges of new things in our life. To conclude,college students should try to adapt himself to college life as soon as possible, so as to take full advantages of their precious college time.
