With the deepening of reform and opening-up of our country, many people dream of going abroad for further study. They insist that the modern research facilities, world famous professors and excellent environment in those foreign colleges can help lay a perfect foundation for their future development.

However, there are still many people who favor studying at home. They argue that studying abroad is too expensive and doesnt pay. They also point out that there are no language and cultural barriers if they study at home.

Both opinions are acceptable in some sense. If students have the chance and financial resources, they should seize the opportunity to study abroad and broaden their eyes. On the other hand, if conditions dont permit, they can pursue their studies in top universities at home. What counts is not the place where you study, but the desire to learn.

书面表达历来是英语教学中一个难点，要想在限定的时间内写出一篇质量上乘的文章，非一日之功。纵观几年来的高考书面表达，我们可以看出，高考英语写作越来越重视情景的设置，要求考生总结自己的感受和见解，给出自己的观点。书面表达又是全面衡量学生英语综合水平的一种测试形式，因此，我们不得不重视。

第一步，写作的内容，要求做到两点— 内容完整、相关。这两点只要考生不粗心，基本都能做到。比如陕西考区的题目，要求写暑假的安排，是一篇正反观点类的议论文。必须注意题目的要求，第一要提出讨论话题，Recently there has been a heated discussion about what the students should do during the summer vacation.(这是一个经典的模版开篇句型)。第二要写出一方面的观点，然后是另一方面的观点，最后提出自己的看法，根据要求缺一不可，否则就会被扣掉相应的分数，这就是完整。再比如，2005年广东考区的成语寓言故事，不仅要描写整个守株待兔的过程，还应该根据要求点名寓意，否则也是不完整，这点只要在课堂上强调，学生是很容易做到的。所谓相关，也就是不要过多出现文中没有的信息，不能过分发挥，一般学生犯此类错误的较少。

第二步，写作中的语法。在阅卷中，一般三个小的语法错误会被扣掉一分，一个大的语法错误(关于谓语的错误)会被扣掉一分。所以，学生应该尽量避免犯语法错误。我在课堂中会强调，对于语法基础薄弱的同学，除了加强自己的语法功底外，就是去背诵我给出的50个最高频用到的句法结构。这些结构不仅正确，而且一定是高考中的有效得分点，即使语法偏弱，记住这些句子然后在考试中使用也能避免学生自己造句中的语法错误，一举两得。比如，倒装句在考试中就很少有同学主动启用，但是一旦正确启用就会收到意想不到的效果，所以我会给出四组倒装句，然后让学生加强运用和练习。这些句子包括：

第三步，连接词的运用，使文章连贯、流畅。我把这些词分为8类，叫做“畅词”，往往学生由于中西方语言的差异，会忽视这一点，所以在授课中会通过大量的练习巩固和加强学生的印象。而且不仅要写，还写出高水平的畅词，因为高考是选拔性考试，要做到“人无我有,人有我优”。比如，“首先”这个表示次序的畅词，一般同学一定想到的是firstly 或者first of all。可是我建议学生启用to begin with, 或者initially (这个是建议水平较好的启用)。“然而”，绝大部分启用but, however，我建议学生采用on the contrary 或者oppositely。

第四步，也是整个课程的核心部分，要强化“复杂、高级”两个概念。为什么是核心呢?因为学生在这一部分没有正确的认识，在平时的学习中老师也没有有意识灌输和训练总结。大部分学生以为只要写出来、写正确就可以拿到高分，其实80-120个单词包括大概10个句子，如果全部是简单的词汇和句型没有办法达到最高档作文的要求。因此，我们强调高级的词汇和高级复杂的句型，不是说全部必须高级，而是必须出现一些才能符合高考作文大纲的要求。在这一步中，我总结的“高分词汇选择原则”、“简单句到复杂句的瞬间转换”、“高分句子写作策略”以及“钻石得分50句”，通过这些理论和实践结合的讲解，学生会感觉成绩的快速提升，效果明显。

I took a trip to Shanghai with my mother during the seven-day holiday. It

早就听说朝天店的美食，今天，我和爸爸妈妈一起去朝天店，我们看着菜单，一个不留神就点了六个菜，分别是凤爪、排骨、鸭舌、鲈鱼等，妈妈说：“点多了。”爸爸说：“知道，要光盘，吃不完打包。”第一个上来的是我最喜欢凤爪，我的口水都快要流出来了，马上就一筷子吸取，那有点酸辣的味道一下子弥漫开来，激活我的味蕾。第一只凤爪还没下肚，第二盘排骨又上桌了，看着那色香味俱全的排骨，放在嘴里，那浓郁的酸甜裹着酥脆的排骨，太美味了，真让人爽到极点。我们津津有味地吃着，直到再也吃不下去了。饭吃完，我们共打包了2碗菜：半条鲈鱼和小半碟炒肉，其余也都做到了“光盘”。看着干干净净的盘子，服务员还给我发了小礼品，一个小熊，哈哈 好可爱。

晚上回到家，妈妈把打包来的菜重新炒了一下，炒肉加了点大蒜，鲈鱼又炸了一下，“光盘”行动，剩菜在我们的打理，吃的很干净。光盘是一种美德，也是一种责任，希望光盘能够成为我们的习惯，光盘行动，我很光荣。

下午好!首先感谢各位家长在百忙中抽出时间来参加今天的家长会。

下面先将本学期的有关情况向各位家长做个简要汇报。

一、汇报本学期期末考试情况

这次的期末考试是历下区统一命题，统一考试，流水批阅，考试中发现的问题主要是以下几点：考试中多科使用答题卡，考完后汇总：我们班共三个同学答题卡出现了填涂错误，这就意味填在答题卡上的成绩为零，如果在中考中就记为零分，没有任何补救措施，恐怕到时后悔就太晚了，养成细心检查的习惯并不难，关键看你是否重视，态度决定一切，希望家长回家后提醒孩子要引以为戒，不要再犯这样的错误，你想一下，我们这一学期辛苦的学习，为何在关键的一战上失手呢?“成败在于细节。

发生的第二个问题是英语听力考试，班上有同学迟到，幸亏因故听力推迟了十分钟，否则听力的二十分全因你的迟到耽误，在中考时要求考听力时提前二十分钟入场，如果迟到就禁止入内，希望家长提醒孩子考试时要提前一会儿，考试太紧张会影响发挥，但太过放松，也会让你留下遗憾，希望每个孩子养成守时的好习惯，科学合理的安排好自己的时间。

第三个问题是考试的过程中不要把任何有嫌疑的资料带入考场，正式考试中除了考试时的基本学习用具，是任何纸张都不能带进考场的，但同学中有拿本子进入考场的，而且考试也没有收拾起来，巡考或监考老师如果发现就视为作弊，所以家长告诫孩子从现在起养成良好的考场习惯，出现的问题我们及时总结，尽量避免。

从本次考试的八个学科成绩情况分析来看，有如下问题：

1。严重的偏科思想导致成绩差异相当大。

有的同学语数外三门主科能考到358分，年级排名84，但一加上史地生政微机，就成了年级229名，有的同学考完就问我“有没有补考机会，这次地理题答的太不理想。”老师知道你现在是真的很后悔平时没有认真的学习，可真的有点晚了，老师在考前一再提醒你们要制定好复习计划，老师发下的复习提纲要认真复习，为的就是不要有任何遗憾，不管结果如何，你们自问一下，我是不是努力了?为了让我们不做后悔的事，就要平时学会点滴积累，持之以恒。

2、各学科发展不平衡，出现明显的差距各学科及总分成绩

总体情况：

本次考试试卷总分920分。语文英语满分120分，数学满分180分，史地生政微机满分100分。全班700分以上的有30人，全年级最多。班人均总分680分，各科平均分：语文91;数学120;英语103;历史74;地理65;生物73;思品83;微机72。进入全年级前200名的有22人。

三、思想状况及学习情况

一学期结束了，我们按照学校的部署和安排，认真的完成了本学期的教育教学工作任务，顺利的完成本学期的各项工作，每个同学都取得了不同程度的成绩，绝大多数同学渐渐养成了良好的学习习惯，良好的行为习惯，文明守纪，尊敬他人，关心他人，顺利的完成了小学到初中的过渡及转变，今天我特别想向各位家长汇报的是，根据我自己班的实际情况，我对学生进行了分组排座，划分还是主要依据学生的期中考试成绩，所以座位不是一成不变的，每次考完大考，我都会进行适当调整。(班主任 www.banzhuren.cn)我分的是四人一组的学习小组，每组的一号是成绩在班里优秀的学生，二号为良好的，三号是一般的，四号是相对较弱一些的，上课回答问题也做了详细的评价机制，如每组四号主动回答问题并正确者得四分，三号回答只能得到三分，一号分数最少，每组的一号为学习小组的组长，期末考试就按照四人的平均得分来确定是否进步或退步，并给予奖励，这样一分组，学生的学习积极性提高了很多，平时上课的气氛更加积极踊跃了。

存在的一些问题：

(1)学习习惯不规范;对学习的重要性、必要性认识不到位，认识不到史地生政信息重要性，

(2)书写问题(要求每一位同学书写要字迹清晰、规范，卷面整洁)，书写不规范对孩子将来各科成绩的影响很大，尤其像是语文英语有写作的科目，希望家长引起重视;

(3)学生完成作业是巩固知识，提高自我的有效途径，多数同学能认真的完成作业，但目前仍有部分同学不能按质、按量、按时完成，早晨来到学校忙着赶作业、抄作业，这就是为什么要求家长签字的重要原因，希望家长们认真的对待孩子作业问题，特别是自己孩子习惯不太好的家长更需要注意，千万不能对孩子放松啊!

2、缺乏进取精神，满足于现状，不会分析各学科及自身存在的问题，不及时的进行查缺补漏、自我完善，没有按老师的要求总结各科学习的特点和找出规律性的知识。

3、缺乏吃苦精神

(1)学习的自觉性、刻苦些、踏实性不够，玩的时间比较多，如周末很多同学的作业不能按时完成，星期一早晨来到抄袭作业的现象比较突出。不会利用周末的空余时间自学，周末仅仅完成作业。

(2)课余时间利用差，不会充分利用课间时间找老师询问，解决学习中的疑难困惑问题，而是课间的时候，在教室里、走道上追逐打闹……

4、少数学生听课质量不高，不会记笔记，不会在课本上进行勾画，上课爱讲小话，思想开小差，思维不能跟着老师，对老师的讲解常常一知半解。

5、不积极主动回答问题，主动学习差。

6、交友：来到新学校，结识新同学，认识新朋友，随之而来的是有些其他班，甚至是高年级的一些品行不端的同学来找，需要我们家长教会孩子正确的处理、面对这些关系，否则就会出现一些影响学习的情况发生。

7、时间：随着对校园周边环境的熟悉，我们也就要求家长们更进一步的调控好孩子们的作息时间，尽量减少孩子们在学校附近逗留的时间。

四、对家长的建议与要求

根据学生平时的表现，结合一学期以来存在的问题，我这里有几点小小的建议，希望家长能配合做到。

1、注意孩子的假期安全，时时记住：安全第一!

2、要督促孩子按时完成假期作业，不要赶作业。要督促孩子养成良好的行为习惯。

3、如果有条件，督促孩子每天至少半个小时课外书的阅读，可以摘录优美的句子，英语最好能出声朗读，最好有发音标准的磁带进行跟读，如新概念英语第一册比较适合初一学生学习。

4、家长一定要检查孩子的作业，就算你看不懂你也要看，至少看看字迹是不是清楚，试卷是不是干净整齐。在作业上签好家长的名字。

5、发现问题及时与老师联系。如果您的手机或者电话号码换了，请及时告诉老师。当您有什么想法和好的建议，请多和我交流。

最后再次提醒各位家长注意放假时间：

本学期放假日期：1月14日到2月12，

下学期报到时间是：2月12日早上八点报到并考语数外三门(内容是寒假作业中的内容。)
