我的家乡位于秦岭脚下。那里山清水秀，绿树成荫，天空上翱翔着雄鹰，树枝上有鸟儿在歌唱。说到这里，我就不得不提及家乡的一条小河——涝河。

从前，涝河的水清澈见底。一到夏天，我们村里的许多小孩就到涝河里戏水、游泳。但是，后来有许多游客来涝河游玩，他们乱扔塑料袋、水瓶等垃圾，使涝河的水变得又脏又臭。并且，涝河不远处建起了一个挖沙场，那里尘土飞扬，从附近路过都得戴口罩。滚滚尘土四处飘散，使家乡的空气遭到了严重的破坏。我们没法到涝河边去玩了，漂浮的垃圾和漫天的尘土把涝河变成了人人避之唯恐不及的臭水沟。平时在涝河洗衣服、打水的人也不敢去了。这样浑浊不堪的涝河哪个人会想去玩，去洗衣服呢？

在这里，我呼吁人们要保护涝河，还涝河美丽富饶的原貌。为此，我提出以下建议：

1、规范游客行为，禁止游客乱扔垃圾，违者进行处罚。

2、在涝河两岸多设置垃圾桶，让游客有扔垃圾的地方。

3、设河道管理员，监督并及时制止游客的不文明行为。

4、停止在涝河挖沙。

希望我的建议能被相关部门采纳，希望涝河早日恢复美丽！

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. We use water to wash our face or to have a bath. We drink water or we will die…Water is also very important for China. Not too long ago, there was a man called Jacques Cousteau. He loved the beautiful colors, and the beautiful fish in the sea. Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. 遗憾的就是，许多人对于这个浅显易懂的道理却视而不见，继续为所欲为，妄顾地球家园的安危。环境科学家曲格平以前说过这样一句话：“唯有变革，才能拯救人类的命运，也唯有变革，才能使我们的子孙后代世世代代生存下去。”然后里面的“变革”就就是指环保。说得很对，所以如今有许多人拿着标语在街上喊空口号，却没有见过多的行动。难道这样污染就会好转吗？不！

看，我们城市里的河流的河水发黑发臭;排成长龙的汽车放出超多的废气；成片的绿地变成“石屎森林”；那清脆的鸟叫声消失得无影无踪。如果再这样下去，中国将继续贫乏水资源，空气将变得愈来愈浑浊，本世纪将有10%的鸟类物种消失。上述的事情，我们人类就是罪魁祸首！

人人皆知：树木能吸收二氧化碳，排放氧气，净化空气，就是我们人类生存的必要的条件。但就是有一些人为了金钱去乱砍滥伐树木，造成了过度的水土流失，使大地的植被受到严重的破坏，绿洲和城市也荒漠化，我们人类的生存受到了威胁。然后就我们平时用的一次性筷子，每一天都要耗费数十亩的森林，在那些人眼中，树木除了能够做家具和建筑材料外，似乎没有任何价值。难道还有人不懂树木对我们意味着什么吗我们居住面积已经很小了，如果再这样下去，可能连我们唯一的土地都失去。还有，我们的母亲河――黄河近年来河床和含沙量不断增高，成为全国污染最严重的几条江河之一。我们不能眼睁睁地看着黄河从我们手中枯竭，因而有许多环境学者纷纷研究治理黄河污染的方案，试图改善黄河的水质。但如果没有我们的共同参与，我们这个生命的摇篮――黄河将会走向衰竭和死亡。

如果我们再肆无忌惮地破坏环境，然后大自然将会给予我们惩罚。那些特大的洪水剥夺了不知多少人的性命，还有由于温室效应，南极北极的冰川融化导致水平面升高，海水淹没了沿海地区，经济损失惨重。难道这不就是最好的证明吗
