Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollution of water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is being changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence. 有些人不珍惜地球赐予我们的一切，例如人们乱砍乱伐，大量使用一次性筷子和乱扔塑料袋，制造白色垃圾等已经给大自然带来了许多环境问题，严重影响了我们的生活。还有大气污染，酸雨和臭氧层等带来的危害都是大自然给人类带来的灾害，人们乱砍乱伐，乱扔塑料袋和使用一次性筷子等，这些就是人们不尊重大自然而造成的，没有自然，便没有人类。这是世界一大朴素的真理，人们只会一味的抢夺自然，征服自然，只会破坏生态系统，咎由自取，使人类濒于困境。切记，保护环境就等于保护我们自己生存的环境。

我们要保护这个脆弱的的地球，不要让茂密的森林，辽阔的草原和无边无际的海洋成为我们的回忆。

“叮铃铃……”一阵清脆的铃声响了起来。“喂，是逸恒吗?”我连忙接起电话：“是呀，你是谁?”咦?电话里的人怎么知道我的名字呢?“哦，我是王阿姨，今天有空吗?有空请你妈带你到我的新家——清水河畔旁边，来玩吧?我高兴地想：这下可有的玩儿喽，于是我便答应了。

我跟妈妈坐着的士(出租车)来到了清水河畔，不一会儿，妈妈带着我来到了王阿姨新家楼下。咦，清水河吗?怎么这么臭啊!我边走边想，只见前面遍地是垃圾，蚊蝇飞舞，一阵风吹来，臭气足足能熏倒十几头大象呢!河面垃圾堆积如山，飘着死鱼，死老鼠，垃圾袋，瓜果皮削等等。在死鱼中间还有大便呢!让人看了就想吐。我便和妈妈捂住鼻子，一口气儿跑到了王阿姨家。

我走进王阿姨家，妈妈说：“你看看你，把人家王阿姨已经擦过的地都踩脏了。”王阿姨说：“没关系的。”说完便拿布擦干净了。

哇噻!王阿姨家真豪华，简直像宫殿一样。地面上擦得光彩照人，墙壁刷得雪白雪白，连天花板都干干净净。王阿姨拿出茶点招待我们，让我们饱餐一顿。吃完后，我刚想把果皮扔进垃圾桶，王阿姨说：“没关系，让我来。”铛铛，只见王阿姨随手一扔，把果壳等垃圾扔到了河里。我见了，说：“阿姨，你……啊哟!痛死了。”妈妈狠狠地拍了我一下，不让我说。吃过饭后，我们要走了，王阿姨来送，顺便把垃圾扔到屋外的地上。

回家的路上，我自己编了一首诗：“屋内干净了，屋外蚊子蛟，河边风一吹，行人捂鼻跑。”我还对妈妈说：“有诗为证，王阿姨的行为是错误的。”妈妈说：“嘿，会写诗啦，长进了不少呀!”

Everyone can do something for our environment. For me, I should try to save electricity in my daily life. For example, if I am the last person leave the classroom in the evening, I will always remember to turn off the lights. In order to protect our forests, I will use paper wisely. I should try to use both sides of paper whenever it is possible. I will not use things like paper cups and disposable chopsticks because they are made of wood. 我，是一瓶可乐，常年躺在小卖部的水柜里，每天看着形形色色的人从我面前扬长而过，却没有人注意到我，等到我都快要过期的时候，一个小男孩把我“救”了出来。

我被装进了书包，看到了许多被放得乱七八糟的书本们，我内心一阵恐慌，我的下场会怎么样呢？正想着，又被扔到了沙发上，一阵杂乱的声音过后，我被拿了出来，一口气被喝光了，并被扔出了窗外。啊！好痛，我一看，我被环卫工人踩扁了，随手捡进垃圾箱。

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down,and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. Furthermore,wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence.

We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems.
