There are more people than ever, living longer that ever. So is it any surprise that many areas suffer from too much development? Anyone living in or near a city has experienced "urban sprawl". There is a new shopping area on every corner and new houses, townhouses and apartments everywhere. Traffic gets worse and worse because planners cant keep up with growth. Keeping up with human demand is hard enough. Environmental concerns come in last.

With growth comes pollution. Companies and communities dump waste into water. Landfills are full of trash. Emissions from factories pollute the air. Barrels of industrial waste and worse, radioactive waste, have no safe place to go. If were not careful, we can harm our planet beyond repair.

People need to respect the Earth and try to preserve it. If we dont, what kind of future will we have?

Today, we read a lot about the passage to protect the environment. I recall ever happened in my side.

Remember last years summer vacation, my father and I went for a walk EHu edge, a way, Im kind of shouted thirsty, so my father on the side of the road store bought me a Popsicle. 今天，我们读了很多关于保护环境的小短文。我想起曾经在我身边发生的事情。

记得是去年的暑假，我和爸爸一起去鹅湖边散步，走了一段路，我就一个劲的喊口渴，于是，爸爸就在路边的小店给我买了根冰棍。我边吃边走，一会儿就吃完了，随手把冰棍棒往鹅湖里一扔。爸爸看见了，马上提醒我说;“可可，不能乱扔垃圾噢!如果每个人都像你一样往湖里扔垃圾，这美丽的鹅湖不就变成了垃圾湖了。”我羞愧的说：“知道了，我下次一定不乱扔垃圾。”爸爸微笑着抚摸我的头说：“地球也是我们的家，我们应该保护它，爱护它，让天更蓝，水更清，草更绿。”我调皮的说：“噢，那就是大家一直说的，城市是我家，环境清洁靠大家。我明白了。”让从那以后，我再也不乱扔垃圾了。

我想爱护环境与每个人息息相关，所以要从每个人做起!

记得七八岁的时候，有一次我和几个同伴去山上玩。山上有一条小溪，溪中有鱼，虾。还有绿绿的小草，高大的树木，红红的花儿，蓝蓝的天空有着小鸟在快活地飞，再加上那天的天气阳光明媚，这时的景象可想而知，多美啊！那儿有五颜六色的蝴蝶，我们常去扑蝴蝶。玩累了，就躺在草上看着天空，天空的云朵有的像狮子、老虎……总之，那里给我的童年带来了无穷的乐趣。

可是，前几天我们又去了那个地方，那里的环境有了很大的变化：绿绿的草变成枯黄的了，红花凋谢了，高大的树木被摧毁了，连蓝蓝的天空也因为工厂排出的污染气体而失去了以前的颜色，走过那里就会闻到一股臭味，那里没有了快活飞翔的小鸟，没有了孩子的欢声笑语，没有了花蝴蝶翩翩起舞的景象。而且小溪里的鱼虾大半都死了，这一切的一切，都是因为人类污染环境所造成的。所以，我们应该懂得保护环境，否则，后果会不堪设想。

大地上拥有和谐的绿色，让我们手牵着手，心连着心，从现在做起，从点点滴滴做起，共同共关注环境保护，共同保护我们绿色的家园！让地球变成一个洁净、清新、永远年轻的蓝色星球

It has caused lots of problems such as much rich land becomes desert;Rivers become dirty ;The air is becoming worse and worse ;The temperature is becoming hotter and hotter.So we must do something to change the situation.Wed better walk or ride bikes to work or go to school instead of driving a car,We mustnt use plastic bags.Our government must take some measures to prevent factories producing smoking etc.

In our daily life, the living environment is very important. But in daily life people in protecting the environment is not very seriously.

In order to let our beautiful environment, no hurt. There are many old people to clean street, greening lawn. They finished a day early out, to the motherland green environment at all costs. On the way we go to school, there is also a team the many classmates litter waste. 在我们日常生活中 ,生活环境是十分重要的.但在日常生活中人们在保护环境上并不十分重视.

为了能让我们的环境优美,不受到伤害.有许多老人来打扫大街,绿化草坪.他们每天早出完归,为了祖国的绿化环境不惜一切代价。但那些不爱护环境的人偏偏还要去破坏，我们一定要为不爱护环境的人做好思想工作，让他们早一日改掉恶习。

在我们上学的路上，也有许队多同学乱丢废弃物。比如说：有的同学把小吃袋扔在校门口外，还有的同学把叠好的纸飞机随意乱扔，甚至顺着墙扔进学校.他们的这些行为不但一次又一地影响着学校，还给每天早晨做值日的同学带来了很大麻烦。

在校会上，老师一次又一次叮嘱、说服，但有些同学并不听劝，而是继续破坏环境，缩短地球的寿命。

有一次，学校组织我们2—6年级同学到采俸公园的草坪上捡白色垃圾。在出发之前，我心里想，平常到采风公园玩的时候，觉得那里比较干净。今天去捡白色垃圾，应该很少，捡起来一定很轻松吧。

但当我走道那里，低头一看的时候，却把我惊呆了。地上有许多垃圾。废纸、烟头、塑料袋等。这些到处都是，一块绿色的草坪，在游人的破坏下成了一片环境污染地，这是多么严重的环境问题。

面对这块草坪，使我们愤怒不已，努力去消除那些垃圾。经过我们100分钟的劳动，草坪终于恢复到了最初的美丽，名花齐葩争芳斗艳。我们不禁感叹：原来地球也是很美的呀!
