The fair will attract a huge crowd from the entire school, who are to sell, purchase and exchange their second-hand books with their peers.

As a regular visitor, I’ve found myself increasingly attracted by the fair. For one thing, the fair exhibits books of hundreds of types on diverse topics, motivating us to further develop our reading habits and help to broaden our horizons. 然而，其他人，不喜欢在所有的课外活动。他们认为学生在学校的工作是学习理论知识，没有其他的东西。参加课外活动是浪费宝贵的时间在学校。

In my opinion, every student should engage in some after class activities because from these activities we can learn many valuable things that we wont learn in classrooms. School is not just a place for learning the difference between "lie" or "lay", or what caused the hours of the daily schedule. Finally, after class activities broaden our circle of acquaintances. No amount of ordinary school work can take the place of friends acquired in the informal familiarities of activities.

在我看来，每个学生都应该参加一些课外活动，因为从这些活动中，我们可以学到很多宝贵的东西，我们在课堂上不学。学校不仅仅是一个学习的地方，在“说谎”或“奠定”，或是什么造成了每天的时间表。最后，课外活动拓宽我们的熟人圈子。普通学校没有多少工作可以在非正式熟悉收购活动的朋友的地方。

Last Saturday I joined a voluntary activity which was organized by the students union of our school. My classmates and I took a bus and went to the Animal Rescue Center in our city, where some stray dogs and cats are kept. As soon as we arrived, the workers told us how these animals were collected and what they did to help them. Then we were divided into small groups and helped them clean the cages. We were given some food to feed these animals.

I learned a lot from this activity. Animals need our care and attention, so we should devote our time to taking care of them.

上周六，我参加了由我们学校学生会组织的一项志愿活动。我和同学们乘公共汽车去了我们城市的动物救助中心，那里养着一些流浪狗和猫。我们一到，工人们就告诉我们这些动物是如何被收集起来的，他们是如何帮助他们的。然后我们分成小组，帮助他们清理笼子。我们得到了一些食物来喂养这些动物。

忽然我想到了一个游戏是捉迷藏，我们首先分组，小明和我一组，小红和小丽一组。小青来找我们，我们就开始慌乱的四处躲藏，小青问“藏好了吗?”大家都没有说，然后小青就静悄悄地来找我们，小青往小丽那边慢慢地走过去，小丽听到了脚步声紧张极了，心想：“我得转移位置，”结果，他没有想到，他刚跑到小红那边，还没反应过来就被抓了，这时他听到了小明的声音，跑了过来抓住了小明，结果，我怕抓到我，想转身跑掉结果也被抓了，我就说：“你太厉害了”，我一边说，一边努力挣脱，但没有用，因为小青牢牢的抓住我，这个游戏玩得太刺激了。

我们玩得真开心呀，可是上课铃打响了，我们回到教室里，我心想这次课外活动玩得真开心呀。

The after-class activities in my school are colorful. Every day we play basketball, football, do rope skipping and so on. But I like the Month of Science and Technology and the Cultural Festival most. In those days, we have a chance: to show ourselves to all the students. We can invent something with some classmates. And we can act in a play or make a speech or take part in the competition of singing. I enjoy myseff in those activities.

我们学校的课外活动丰富多彩。每天我们打篮球、踢足球、跳绳等等。但是我最喜欢科技月和文化节。那时我们有机会向所有学生展示我们自己。我们可以和其他同学一起做小发明。我们还可以表演、演讲或参加唱歌比赛。我非常喜欢这些活动。
