今天就是英语外研比赛的日子了，我被安排在下午2.30那场，老妈的单位离考场比较近，上午我便跟她去单位值班。

我在老妈的办公室里，一直都在背稿，时间过得很快，稿纸在我的手中不停地抖动，说好的不紧张呢?

简单吃了点饭，老妈看我这副状态，她提议说，咱们提前溜达着去吧，就当散散步。

午后的街道有些冷清，看到不错的景致，老妈竟不忘给我拍张照片啥的，她可真有兴致。不觉中就来到了“宝睿国际未来小学”门口，我们是下午考生中来得最早的。

等了好久一些家长才陪着孩子到来，有接待老师把我们安排在家长等候区，并给选手们讲了些注意事项，接着老师又读了考场名单，我被安排在第三考场。

这是初赛，演讲的内容是自我介绍加才艺表演。我看到有的选手准备得真棒!不光自己化了淡妆，还梳了很复杂很漂亮的辫子，有的还穿了美丽的裙子。有不少同学手里拿了画板，上面是他们精心绘制的图画，他们边指着自己的画边小声念着英语，看来他们的才艺表演一定是用英语介绍自己的画了。而我的才艺显得多么的微不足道，我只打算读一首英文小诗。

上午考完的同学在群里发来信息，他们说很简单，评委主要看你的口语能力，觉得背不好的，也可以直接读，我终于有了一些安心。

马上就轮到我了，听到老师念我名字，稿子在我手中抖的更厉害了。原来考场里只有三位评委老师，但其中有一位外国人。我的心开始咚咚跳个不停，手心也开始冒汗。我刚说一句“Hello everyone.”，三位评委老师便微笑着向我点头示意。他们这一微笑，我反而不自在的很，我僵硬的站在他们面前，机械地象在用英文诵经一般，我甚至听到自己的声音就象一只大苍蝇在我周围嗡嗡着飞，它飞飞停停，停停飞飞，可恶极了。我发现三位评委老师都在低着头，记录着什么，也不知他们听清了这“嗡嗡”声没有。自我介绍环节很快就完了，我看没人看我，便拿出稿子，直接读那首“四季”的小诗。依然没人看我，平时读得一点问题都没有，此时竟卡了好几下，自己都觉得糟糕透顶。

三分钟终于结束了，我向三位评委鞠了躬说了“thank you”之后，心情才平静下来。

因为我是最后一场，所以，我来到家长区没多久，就有老师进来，当场宣布进入复赛的同学名单了。老师神采飞扬，声音洪亮，她说：“非常高兴地通知大家，祝贺以下进入复赛的同学，读到名字的同学也请家长一起上台!”

接着老师便念“张三，李四”，没有我的名字!

我沮丧极了，连为大家鼓掌的力气都没有了。

也许从我站到台上的那一刻就被评委老师“秒杀”掉了。老妈反倒安慰我说：“你在这里登过台，已经很棒了。但一定记住，台上一分钟，台下十年功啊。”

是的，通过参加这次比赛，我也找到了自己努力的方向。

路过一家烘焙店，我说：“老妈，给我买点吃的吧，我要化悲痛为力量!”

清晨，我早早的就起了床，毕竟是一年的最后一天吗，睡懒觉还是不好的。我便把哥哥妹妹也一同叫起，准备去楼下玩。

来到楼下，这里早已是一片红色的世界了，灯笼、对联、还有倒挂着的福字，没有一样不是红色的，给过年增添了很大的气氛。我们又在楼下放起了炮，玩起了游戏，玩得开心极了。

不一会儿，时间老人就敲起了中午的铃铛。噢，要吃饭了。我们几个小孩子早就迫不及待了，赶快跑到洗手间胡乱的洗了一下手，来到餐桌边。“哇塞!好丰盛呀!绿豆莲米汤、红烧北京鸭、爆炒牛肉，样样都是我的最爱呀!”我不禁大叫起来。我拿起筷子，不顾斯文，大口大口的吃了起来。嗯，不错，真是不错。真难得是过年，要平常哪有这么多的好吃的呀!呵呵!

晚上，吃完年夜饭，我就迫不及待地守候在电视机前，等候着春节联欢晚会的开始。八点钟，晚会开始了。我目不转睛地盯住电视机，真是舍不得离开半步，生怕错过任何一个好节目。节目一个比一个有趣，一个比一个精彩，看得我们一家人时而全神贯注，时而捧腹大笑，又时而让人赞叹不已……

不知不觉，晚会已接近尾声，这时大街上响起了噼里啪啦的鞭炮声，把晚会的声音都给压下去了。二姨夫和爸爸也抱着一大团大红炮下楼去放了。在震天动地、此起彼伏的鞭炮声中，新年的钟声敲响了。“嗖!嗖!嗖!……”五颜六色的烟花好像天上开放的一朵朵美丽的花儿：有的红的像玫瑰，有的黄的像菊花……一串串烟花像仙女散花一样，好看极了，把新年的夜空装点得格外美丽!

而我呢通过一年的努力，期末考试也取得了好的成绩，都说人逢喜事精神爽，还真是的，在这个欢乐又喜庆的除夕，我们也迎来了奶奶的六十大寿，为了给奶奶一个惊喜，我们早早的筹划着。

夜幕刚刚降临，我们都忙碌起来了。我在一只很大的奶油蛋糕上点上了几十根生日蜡烛，高兴的喊着：“奶奶，吃饭了!”奶奶走来一看桌上的蛋糕，显得有点诧异。没等她开口，我和妹妹就齐声说道：“奶奶，祝您生日快乐!”爸爸大步上前，一把把奶奶拥在怀里，给奶奶一个大大的拥抱，瘦小的奶奶在爸爸的魁梧的身材下更显得小鸟依人了。

妈妈把早就准备好的羽绒服拿了出来，要奶奶穿上，奶奶穿上妈妈买的新羽绒服更精神了。奶奶眼里闪烁着的那份幸福，似孩子般的不能掩饰……

I always think there is not enough time. For example, I have just taken a three-day holiday. But when I look back, I just feel that it’s only one day. There goes a proverb, “Time is money”. Now I want to say, time is more precious than money, because when money is spent, we can earn some more again. However, when time is gone or lost, never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it’s a pity that I am always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think, I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting time is equal to wasting one’s life. Do not put off what can be done today till tomorrow!

我总觉得时间不够。例如，我刚刚参加了为期3天的假期。但是当我回头看，我只是觉得这是唯一的一天。有句谚语说，“时间就是金钱”。现在我想说，时间比金钱更宝贵，因为当钱花掉的时候，我们可以再挣一些钱。然而，当时间流逝，它永远不会回来。

Because we dont need to do any homework during this time very year.Its really a precious holiday for us. And our parents are free from their work too. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival. It’s on the fifth of August. We can hang lanterns in the house. In the evening,we have a big dinner. Look,there is lots of food on the table. They are chicken,fish,crabs and so on. They’re very delicious. We can drink a glass of juice.
