Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. We also call it the spring festival. It is on lunar january 1st.

On new years eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. There are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. Overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. After dinner, we always watch tv new year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on new years eve.

On the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. My dream home is very big and nice.I have a house and it has at least three floors.On the first floor,there is a big dining room and we can have dinner together.There is also a nice kitchen and a big sitting room.On the second floor,there are all the bedrooms,so all my friends can stay in my house.There are computers,TVs and videos in each bedroom,so everyone can have fun.My own room is on the third floor.I can put the dolls,the posters and other things in it.I also have a balcony and I can see the whole city from it.
