5、删除诸如"who is”或"that is"之类的关系代词，变从句为短语。比如：

注：把句中的"three parts"改用形容词来表达，节省了四个不必要的单词"which is written in"。我们经常可以将关系代词如"that"去掉，这只会引起最少的变动。

首先，写前要细心观察所写的植物，并做观察记录。观察时，先看整体的形状(外形)特征;再看颜色、枝叶的细部特征及生长环境，并把所看到的详细情况记录下来。

其次，安排好写作顺序。

3.择一而作法。有的材料作文的材料内涵很丰富，其作文立意可以是多元的，我们可从中多角度提炼观点。请看2008年湖北黄冈中考作文题之一的作文材料： 薛谭跟秦青学唱歌，还没有把秦青的技艺学完，就自以为都学到手了，便向老师告辞回家。秦青也没有阻拦他，在城外的大道旁给他饯行。这时候秦青抚摩着拍板，慷慨激昂地高唱起来，声音振动了林间的树木，反激出的回声挡住了天上的行云。 薛谭便急忙向老师道歉，要求回去继续学习，从此以后，他一辈子再也不敢说回家的话。 材料是在讲述“薛谭学讴”的故事，其内涵丰富，角度多元。我们在阅读的过程中，要对材料认真分析，找准材料揭示寓义的角度，审出材料的写作指向，从而确定写作主题。我们可采用“择一而作”法，从材料的不同角度切入，选择最适合自己的一个角度来构思立意。如可从薛谭的角度构思，提炼出“持之以恒”“知错能改”等主题；可从秦青的角度构思，提炼出“言传不如身教”“因材施教”等主题。 总之，写材料作文，应注意以下几个方面：首先要读懂材料。因为材料作文的“材料”是命题的载体，读懂材料，才能为写作打好基础。其次，要明确要求。材料作文的写作要求是写作的限制性条件，这些要求包括文体要求、篇幅要求、拟题要求等。只有明确了这些要求，写作时才不会开“无轨电车”。第三，要写出新意，也就是要在“新”字上入手，可在角度的选择、文章的立意、表现方法的运用、篇章的布局上下工夫。

January 1st is New Year‘s Day. It‘s a great day for all the people throughout the world. As the saying goes, A good beginning is half the battle. So, many people go all out to celebrate the important day. On that day, I went to the Book City with my classmates. We bought a lot of useful reference books and interesting story books. I believe Knowledge is power. I hope I can learn a lot from these books and improve my study. In the evening, my family had a big dinner party. All the members in my family wished me a good luck in the new year.

Im a middle school student. I’m upset these days because of my parents.

They pay too much attention to my study. I have to report my test results to them every time.

If I get good grades they will be happy and satisfied. But if not they will be worried about me, especially my mom. I never want to let her down, but she has made a plan for my future.

I am very disgusted with it. I dont know what to do. I know they really love me. I also know knowledge is important for everybody. However, I cant stand they are always making me study. Im really expected they can understand me.

[初中英语作文：我的烦恼

一：用介词短语替代从句，例：

原句：While they were playing tennis, she started an argument that lasted all morning.

修改后：During tennis she started an argument that lasted all morning.

原句：When you come to the second traffic light, turn right.

修改后：At the second traffic light turn left.

二：删除诸如"who is”或"that is"之类的关系代词，变从句为短语，例：

句：The novel, which is written in three parts, told a story that took place in the Middle Ages.

修改后：The three-part novel told a story set in the Middle Ages.

注：把句中的"three parts"改用形容词来表达，节省了四个不必要的单词"which is written in"。我们经常可以将关系代词如"that"去掉，这只会引起最少的变动。

三：剔除你不需要的单词，例：

Two joint partners will present their views over a long-distance telephone call.

写完这样的句子后，你自己再读一遍，挑出单词"joint"和"telephone"，注意删去不必要的词。

英语写作注意两点

一、先审题，弄清写作要求审题是写好作文的前提，也是书面表达的基础。如果写偏了题，语言表达再好也很难得高分。审题时要注意两个方面：

1.认真地看两遍题目，包括提示，全面了解写作要求。

2.理清思路，确定体裁、框架结构和内容。

二、用英语进行思维英语写作时必须排除汉语思维的干扰。

从现在起应逐渐加大阅读量和听的输入量，将阅读、听力训练与书面表达有机地结合起来。经常体会和领悟作者传递信息和表达思想的方式。在话题讨论和写作中经常运用所学到的表达方式就会有所创造。还要尽量做到“五多”：多看、多听、多思考、多用心体验和感悟身边的人和事、多用英语说和写自己的体验和感受。

I like reading novels, because in the novels, I can imagine the world that

the author creates, I treat myself as part of the novels, it feels like that I

witness all the incidents. I especially like to read short novels, because I

don’t have so much to read the long novels, I am studying in the high school, I

have many subjects to learn. I have little time only on the weekends. Short

novels only costs me about one day to finish reading, while the long novels will

take me more than a week to finish, if I hang on reading part of it, I will

think about it all the time and can’t focus my mind on studying. What’s more, I

like to read novels more than twice, so it is easy to do for me to read short

novels. I gain so much for read these short novels.
