这次日本几乎遭受到毁灭性的打击，但是通过看到网上一系列的报道，我感觉面对地震方面我国也要好好学习。在这，我不得不想起我国发生的大地震，包括前几天云南盈江发生的5.8级大地震。首先在民众方面，日本发生了如此大的地震，民众虽然很害怕，但是很快也慢慢镇静下来，街上的人们排队也是井然有序，这给政府工作带来了一些便利。其*次，在政府方面，政府迅速组织救灾，第一时间放下大国的心态，对外宣称需要任何国家任何的援助，真正做到这样的，才是真正把民众放在首位。再次，联想到我国的大地震，程度不如这样猛烈，但是却造成很大的损失，日本的房子造的都很坚固，大多都能抗震，我国一些房地产商为了自己的私欲，拿人民的性命不当回事，造一些“不好”工程，导致我国每当地震来袭，总是损失惨重，越来越高的房价，更是让人民怨声载道，政府真应该拿些措施好好管管了。

日本是个地震多发国家，在抗震方面也是世界一流的，从小学开始每月都会举行几次地震演习，使人们知道面对地震该这样去做，房子建造方面也是牢固为主，抗震为主，不敢想象在这个地震频发国家，造一些“不好”工程会怎样，肯定会遭来全国上下口诛笔伐吧。现在地震带活跃起来了，我国也是在地震带边缘，在地震抗震方面应该多向日本取取经。

要搭一座阶梯，首先需要搭好“基座”吧！从升入小学之前，妈妈一有空便带我去书城，那时我只能看一些100多字的小故事。但日复一日的阅读，使我渐渐对阅读产生了浓厚的兴趣，并且阅读量越来越大。小学里，我写的作文总能得五角星，与别人的作文相比较，先不评内容，光是字数我就比别人多一截。

因为搭了一个“好基座”，所以我可以慢慢架“阶梯”了。二、三年级时，我开始接触儿童文学这一类书籍。我学到了一些写作的修辞方法，好词佳句积累得也是越来越多，也是因为读书培养出了一些语感，我写出来的句子都是流畅通顺的，作文也就越写越好了。有一次制作美食的习作，用上了一连串准确的动词，不仅得到了老师的称赞，还在班级里分享贴上“光荣榜”。成功让我更爱阅读。

随着越来越多的台阶垒加上去，四、五年级时，我对各类小说、散文有了些兴趣。我会临摹作家的写作手法，并思考怎样像他们一样能把笔下的人物写得跃然纸上、呼之欲出。写作时，我不仅会描摹人物的外貌特征、动作、语言，更会细细揣摩他们的想法，了解他们更细腻的心思。阅读给我支架，拓宽了我的视野，同时让我明白还需要读什么书。

Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions.

There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.

Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.

首先，老师往杯子里放上水，再把鸡蛋放进去，鸡蛋就沉下去了。老师又往水里加了盐，再用筷子慢慢搅拌，鸡蛋浮上来了一点。然后，老师又往杯子里加了盐，搅过之后，鸡蛋浮在水中了。最后一次，加过盐之后，开始搅拌，鸡蛋浮到水面上了。

我惊讶地问：“鸡蛋怎么会浮到水面上来呢?”老师说：“因为水的浮力把鸡蛋托上来了。”老师又说：“今天这个小实验告诉我们水中含的盐分越多，浮力越大，死海不死就是因为它了。”

Dear Bob,

I’m writing to apologize for not watering your jasmine, which caused

its death, while you were away.Now let me explain what

happened to me and my family.

I was so busy preparing for the coming exam that I had no time for

other things. What’s more, my mother had her ankle

injured while she was walking, so I had to take good care of her, who stayed at

home alone. That was why I failed to water your favorite plant. I would like to

buy a new one as a compensation for your loss. Please forgive me.

大地在颤动，大树倒了，桥梁塌了，高耸的大楼顷刻间变成了一片瓦砾。地震！这就是唐山大地震！轰隆隆的巨响夹杂着伤者的哀号、小孩的哭叫响成一片。虽然这只是电影，但我依然被这惊心动魄的场面所震撼。

在这千千万万的受灾者中，有一个叫方达的小男孩，他被地震夺去了一条手臂。他和妈妈相依为命，可他不气馁，不向困难低头，从拉三轮车开始，一直到成立了公司、当了老板，有了自己的房子、汽车。一只手的残疾人经历了多少磨难啊！

更为难得的是，当他成功的时候，没有忘记母亲，想把母亲接到杭州去住，她不去；给母亲在唐山买房，她还是不同意；方达想劝说母亲早些从痛苦中解脱出来，忘掉过去走向新生活，母亲和他意见不统一，方达也不强求，不同母亲争辩。

过年的时候，为了不让母亲寂寞，他不惜和媳妇吵架，把自己的孩子留在母亲身边。他总是尽最大的努力让母亲开心，尽最大努力去做个孝顺的好儿子。

我敬佩方达！敬佩他顽强，不向命运低头，拼出自己的一片天地；我敬佩方达！敬佩他孝顺，成功不忘母亲，是替父亲？还是替姐姐？原来那可是四口的一家人啊！我敬佩方达！敬佩他身残志坚，一条手臂的小伙子让饱经沧桑的母亲过上好生活；相比之下，他那同胞姐姐虽然四肢健全，却内心冷酷，她为生身母亲又做了些什么呢？

或许，命运是不公平的，让孩子过早地失去父母，或许人生是残酷的，让健康的孩子成为残疾；我和故事中的方达都失去了父爱，让我们经受生活的考验；但幸运的是我拥有健康的身躯，还有许多亲人的帮助。我相信方达可以用一只手干出一番大事，四肢健全的我肯定能用双手扛起整片蓝天！

It is important for you to learn some knowledge about first aid in your daily life. If a person has an accident, he needs medical care before a doctor can be found. When you give first aid, you must pay attention to three things. First, when a person stops breathing, open his/her mouth and see if there is food at the bulk of his/her mouth. Second, if a person cannot breathe, do you best to start his/her breathing at once, using a mouth to mouth way. Third, if a person is hurt badly, try at once to stop the bleeding. Then take him/her to a doctor. If a person loses one third of his/her blood, he/she may die.

Many accidents may happen at home. All parents should know first aid in order to deal with common injuries which may happen to their children. When a person is bitten by an animai, wash the wound with cold running water before he/she is taken to see a doctor. When a person is burnt, wash and cool the area of the skin under the cold tap for a while. Then put a piece of dry clean cloth over the burn. If the person is badly burnt, take him/her to the doctor. If a person cuts his/her finger, clean it and put a piece of paper round the cut. Every bodyrshould know some first aid in order to save othe peoples lives.
