今天水晶老师带给我们一堂有趣的琥珀知识课。

琥珀是一种透明的生物化石，又称松脂化石，是距今数千万年前的松柏科、豆科等植物的树脂滴落，掩埋在地下千万年，在压力和热力的作用下石化形成的。琥珀形状多种多样，表面常保留着当初树脂流动时产生的纹路，内部经常可见气泡及古老昆虫、动物或植物碎屑。常见的琥珀种类有血珀、金珀、蓝珀、蜜蜡、花珀、植物珀、虫珀、茶珀等，它们主要分布于白垩纪和第三纪的砂砾岩、煤层的沉积物中，波罗的海沿岸国家、缅甸、多米尼加、墨西哥、印尼和我们中国等是盛产琥珀的国家。

介绍完琥珀的基本知识后，水晶老师开始讲解如何辨别真假琥珀。第一种方法是荧光测试，用荧光剂测试电筒照一下琥珀，如果有荧光反应的是真琥珀，没有荧光反应的是假琥珀（印尼的柯巴除外）。第二种方法是盐水测试，因为琥珀的比重是1、08左右，比盐水略轻，所以可以在盐水中浮起来，而假琥珀往往比较重，在盐水里会沉底。当然，最权威的方法就是拿着琥珀去做珠宝鉴定。

最后的节目是让我们每个人都兴奋不已的制作环节。我们每人拿到了一份材料，里面有一块天然琥珀原石，还有好几块砂纸和银器上光布、打孔器、吊坠挂绳、南红顶珠等。我们要从粗到细用砂纸将这块琥珀“毛坯”依次修整打磨，最后用上光布蘸上色拉油进行抛光，并在琥珀上打孔，将吊坠挂绳穿进琥珀里，做成一件精致的琥珀吊坠。我迫不及待里拿出工具，按照水晶老师的示范开始打磨起琥珀原石来。不过打磨可真是一件费力的事情，水晶老师也说这不是在课堂上可以完成的，得“慢工出细活”，做这么一件挂坠最快也需要大半天的时间呢。看来，我得回家好好精工细作一番，期待过几天手中可以诞生一件精致的工艺品。

2008年5月12日，北京时间下午2点28分，在地震多发的四川省，汶川县里的映秀镇发生了里氏8·0级特大地震。这次地震虽伤害人民的强度不及1976年的唐山大地震，但是他那波及范围之广，影响群众之大，几乎已经堪称中国之最了。

但震后，爱依然无处不在。

在当天中午一座楼上，有一对夫妻和他们刚生下来的一个小宝宝熟睡着，地震来临，夫妻俩趴在宝宝身上，让他活了下来，但这对夫妇却被石壁砸死了……那天中午，地震来临，一位母亲护着孩子，为她咬开了自己的动脉，孩子利用这些血活了下来；一位母亲，护着孩子在手机上留下了她最后的遗言：孩子，如果你还活着，那么妈妈告诉你，我永远永远爱你！同样，还有许多震后的故事在震撼着我们。

在抢救现场，最多见的，是绿、橙、白三种颜色。消防员拼劲全力抢救被困人员解放军叔叔把伤员抬到医疗处，白衣天使者则在医疗出迅速的救治伤员。人们都爱他们。一位父亲看得到自己的孩子被压在瓦砾深处，十分痛心。他还是去救别的更好救的孩子，但是他看着自己的孩子死去。我想，这个孩子在临死那一刻知道，他扶起是爱他的。

在四川以外，无数中国人的心被牵动着。他们自己捐献了许许多多的钱、物资来帮助灾区人民。甚至许多外国人也行动了起来，日本、俄罗斯、美国都派出了搜救队来支援。世界上所有的人都爱他们，为他们架起了希望的桥梁。

一方有难，八方支援。只要中国有信心、有毅力，就会赢得抗震救灾的全面胜利！然该相火局一样传递下去。“团结就是力量”“人都力量大”。我们要用这大力量去更好地建设我们的美好祖国！

thank you so much for bringing up! thank you so much for raising me. i know

how hard you’ve worked during the past years. i can image how many difficulties

not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children

look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At

about one oclock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey

or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new

coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating

until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

During last summer vacation I paid a visit to my uncle’s. It was the first time I had seen the sea. Tow years ago my uncle a closed friend of my father transferred from Shanxi to Yantai a beautiful port city; and then my aunt joined him a couple months later. And a year later I became their guest and was going to stay with them for a week. I was fascinated by the vastness of the sea the clean and soft sand on the beach the seagulls flying in the sky and the beauty of the golden sunset clouds over the dark blue water. But I missed the sunrise each day for I couldn’t get up early enough.

On the fifth day the alarm clock woke me up when it was still dark outside I hurried to the beach and stood in the cool breeze there the sky was turning grey little by little the sea was calm and all was so quiet that I felt I was surrounded by mysteries then suddenly in the faraway horizon golden beans of light were shooting up into the sky. A moment later a corner of the sun appeared. The sun was rising very slowly and reluctantly as if it was unwilling to leave the sea. At last the entire sun lay on the horizon so big and so red it looked like a huge ripe orange or a tender half-boiled yolk. It hesitated and shivered a moment then said goodbye to the sea and rose into the air. The scene was very beautiful touching and magnificent which I’ll never forget.

An October Sunrise 十月的日出

I was up the next morning be fore the October sunrise, and away through the wild and the woodland. The rising of the sun was noble in the cold and warmth of it peeping down the spread of light, he raised his shoulder heavily over the edge of grey mountain and wavering length of upland. Beneath his gaze the dew-fogs dipped, and crept to crept to the hollow places; then stole away in line and column, holding skirts, and clinging subtly at the sheltering corners where rock hung over grassland, while the brave lines of the hills came forth, one beyond other gliding.

The woods arose in folds, like drapery of awakened mountains, stately with a depth of awe, and memory of the tempests. Autumn’s mellow hand was upon them, as they owned already, touched with gold and red and olive, and their joy towards the sun was less to a bridegroom than a father.

Yet before the floating impress of the woods could clear it self, suddenly the gladsome light leaped over hill and valley, casting amber, blue, and purple, and a tint of rich red rose; according to the scene they lit on, and the curtain flung around; yet all alike dispelling fear and the cloven hoof of darkness, all on the wings of hope advancing, and proclaiming, “God is here!” then life and joy sprang reassured from every crouching hollow; every flower, and bud and bird had a fluttering sense of them; and all the flashing of God’s gaze merged into soft beneficence.

So, perhaps, shall break upon us that eternal morning, when crag and chasm shall be no more, neither hill and valley, nor great unvintaged ocean; but all things shall arise, and shine in the light of the Father’s countenance, because itself is risen.

今天上午，一群“不速之客”来到了我们小区，个个提着大包小包，包里装着各种工具，在圆盘上支起了两个大帐篷。哦，原来是华侨大学的机械系大学生，在免费为大家修理电器的同时，磨练自己的经验啊！

我的家里刚好有一个坏掉的豆浆机，我立刻将它拿下去修理。我好奇的凑过去看，看他们如何修理这些机器。

令人纳闷的是，在我眼里应该一下子就修好豆浆机的大一高才生，修了半个小时都没有丝毫进展，又将豆浆机转交给大二的学长，在看他们修理豆桨机的过程中，实在是看不下去，觉得很无耐，又很无聊，就回家去了。直到下午收摊的时候，他们通知我来拿豆浆机，依旧没有修好。奇怪，能够代表学校出来的不应该都是精英中的精英吗？为什么连个小小的豆浆机也修不好？难道是知识学得不够？理论背的不熟？还是这所大学根本就是所烂到极点的下三流大学？

我想应该都不是，最根本的原因还是因为他们缺少实践的经验，只会纸上谈兵，夸夸其谈，不明白实际该怎么做，只知道所谓的理论知识，是名副其实的书呆子。

什么是书呆子。就是读过很多书，了解了很多知识，但却不懂得将书本上的知识变通的人。要学习知识固然不错，但是，为了应付高考，许多学生只知道读书，而不知道为什么读书；知其然，而不知其所以然。学习了很多专业知识，可真正运用到生活当中的只有冰山一角，造成了大学生连简单的电器都不会修，将来要怎样为国出力，让我们的国家富强起来？所以，希望那些参加活动的大学生以及所有的大学生，请学以致用，在课余的时候多把自己的所学到的知识运用到生活当中吧，这样，不仅能强化你所学习的知识，更能让你在以后的生活中更加的顺利。

幸好，他们也明白，自己虽饱读诗书，充满了知识。但是，缺少了实践的经验，就组织这次的活动，来弥补自己的缺点。希望他们能在以后的学习中改进这些缺点，让“知识”“实践”并存。

你是不是对鸡的鸣叫声习以为常？其实如果你仔细观察，就会发现里面的学问可多啦！鸡界有十几种语言，包括接触、吃食、惊慌的信号。

比如，母鸡经常发出一种接触信号，表示：“我在这里，就在旁边。”小鸡听到后，会变得很安静，不怕周围的异常声响。

母鸡通知小鸡吃食时，能发出多种信号，一种表示“我找到了吃的”，另一种表示“有好吃的”。小鸡们听到声音后，就会立刻跑来吃食。公鸡受惊时会发出特殊的鸣叫，警告同伴快躲藏起来。母鸡听到叫声，便立即逃跑，化险为夷。

小鸡失群后，会高叫“叽呀，叽呀”，表示寻找同伴。等到找到了同伴，就会发出“叽叽”的低叫声，表示：“找到啦，找到啦。”

凭着这些鸡语，鸡们可以很好地交流、生活。动物的语言真是博大精深，你可不要小瞧了它们！

今天我们全校来了一次地震紧急逃生演练，下面我就给你们说说吧。

第二节课下课铃一响，只听见广播里说；“同学们，等下我们要进行地震紧急逃生演练，第一声哨吹响，大家就躲在一个安全的地方。第二声哨吹响，大家就排队按次序向操场跑。”说完，便来了第一声口哨，我们听了，马上双手抱头，躲在桌子下面。过了一分钟，又来了一声口哨，我们便马上排好队，向操场进军。只见丁超一边跳着走一边说：“地震来了我好高兴啊。”我们听了，一阵狂笑。我们来到操场，选择了一个空旷的地方蹲下，付宇站起来，清点人数。这时，郑非凡躺在地上，丁超见了，笑着说：“郑非凡死了，郑非凡被震死了，死的可惜啊。”“你才死了呢。”郑非凡一下子坐起来，生气的说。

我们在操场上坐了一会，广播说：“现在大家可以回教室了。”说完我们便排好队，回到了教室。潘子慧对邹老师说：“邹老师，还会有第二次吗？”“不会了。”邹老师大声的说。我们听了，这才放放心心地玩去了。

这次逃生演练不仅让我们增长了一些知识，还让我们学会了遇到地震来临时逃生的方法。

有一句老话说得好：知识能改变命运。是啊！如果，没有了知识我们能生存下来吗？我们能活得很精彩吗？

时光的匆匆，让我们从一年级很小的小孩长成六年级懂事的大孩子了！六年级了，我们可要好好学习了！可不能再像以前一样贪玩了。上课=一定要认真听讲哦！争取这一次可以考上个优秀的初中。记得我在网上看到一个小故事：有这一个幸福的家庭，家里还有着两个孩子成绩很棒！但是他们的生活很艰苦，他们的父母亲都是没文化的人。就这样他们艰苦的过了很多年。直到有一次，他们的两个孩考上了优秀的大学，还得了奖金十几万元。从此，他们的生活不再艰苦了。

通过这个故事，再一次的告诉我们：知识是可以改变命运的。所以同学们，努力学习吧！争取考上一个好的初中哦！

Planting Trees植树

It was fine on March 12, 201x. I got up early that day. All the students in our school went to the hill to plant trees.

We arrived at the hill at eight oclock. The teacher asked each of us to plant at least six trees. Then we started digging, planting and watering. We all worked so hard that we could finish our tasks ahead of time. Among us,Wang Lin, our monitor set a good example for us. Though he was ill, he worked harder. When he finished his task, he went on to help others without even a little rest. He was wet all over after work. "I must learn from him," I said to myself . 今天是父亲节。它是一个特别的日子， 不是吗？ 在这个特别的日子我认为我们应该做一些事情来向我们的父亲表达我们的爱。我的爸爸和我是好朋友。不论我什么时候遇到困难， 他总是在那里准备帮助我。今天， 我将为他制作一张漂亮的卡片， 在上面写上我的谢意和最美好的祝愿。然后下午我将帮助他洗汽车， 在晚上做他最喜欢吃的食物。此外， 晚饭后我将和他散步， 然后和他下象棋， 因为他非常喜欢下象棋。我确信他将非常高兴。你的父亲节计划是什么？ 我期盼着你的来信。

还是我五岁那年。我一个人在房间里玩，无意之间看到了一个打火机，我学着爸爸的样子使劲按了几下，“咔嚓”一声，没想到竟然被我给点着了，差点烧到我的手，我非常害怕。便把燃烧着的打火机扔进了垃圾桶，没想到垃圾桶也烧起来了。我迅速把爸爸妈妈扯进房间。爸爸妈妈一进门便吓得目瞪口呆，立即拿来了一盆清水，把燃烧的垃圾桶扑灭了。这下我才松了口气，后来爸爸妈妈严肃地批评了我，告诉我：如果不及时扑灭的话，后果将不堪设想。因为，火不断地蔓延，会把整栋楼化为灰烬。并告诫我以后再也不能犯同样的错误了。从那一刻起我就明白了：不是任何东西都可以拿来玩，特别是火这一类危险物品，千万不能随便玩弄。否则，失去的将是宝贵的生命。

随着年龄的慢慢增长，我了解了更多的消防知识，也更加明白了“水火无情”的道理。一但遇到着火，千万不要慌张，一定要保持冷静镇定，最好早报警，牢记火警电话“119”，报警时讲清楚地址。起火原因等;决不能贪恋财物。首先要逃跑或找大人;逃跑时应用湿毛巾捂住鼻子，以免中毒;同样也要严守秩序，不能争先恐后，互相拥挤，自相踩踏，以免发生不该发生的悲剧。

每个人只有一次生命，咱们要珍惜自己和他人宝贵的生命。同学们，让咱们多了解消防常识，从小树立消防意识，争做消防安全小卫士。

今天我们学校组织我们听交通安全知识讲座，我们都感触很深。让我们深深地懂得；遵守交通法规，珍爱自己生命。

当我们坐在小汽车上是，一定要记得系好安全带。虽说一般没有什么事情，但如果遇到紧急刹车，我们就会撞到头，甚至会飞出去。不怕一万，只怕万一，平时不重视安全带的我，通过警察叔叔给我们看的交通事故的图片和讲解，我就感到我一定要改掉不系安全带的坏习惯，我还要提醒爸爸和妈妈也一样要系好安全带。

我们在公共汽车上，不能把头伸到窗外。我听了一个关于19岁女孩由于把头伸出窗外的死亡事故。虽然我不会这样，但我突然感觉很恐怖，知道一定要提醒大家都遵守交通法规。

我们都要遵守交通信号灯的指示。千万不能闯红灯，要知道；“绿灯可以再等，生命不能重来！”我们应该珍惜生命。

当我们行人要过马路，我们要走斑马线。不要有：“不要紧的，汽车会让我的！”这种思想。同时我们要观察好马路两边的汽车。大家都注意一点，礼让一点，就能减少交通事故的发生了。

是啊！这些交通安全知识，可能有些人知道，有些人不知道。既然大家现在都学习了，那我们就一起遵守交通法规，珍惜自己生命。

星期天，我去了乡下看望爷爷奶奶，无事可干的我竟然心血来潮教爷爷说起英文了。

下午，我闲着的没事就问爷爷：“爷爷，你小时候上过学吗？”

“没有，我小时候家里穷，没钱上学，只好种地。”

没上过学！这一下让我想到了一个妙不可言的好主意——教爷爷说英文。反正闲着也是闲着，干脆让爷爷也增长点外国知识。

我便对爷爷说了这件事，爷爷笑着说：“好啊、好啊，孙女教我学英文。”于是，我从最基本的教起，我大声念了一句：“Hellow”。爷爷笑哈哈地跟着说：“哗啰”。我纠正道：“是Hellow，不是哗啰。再跟我念一遍，Hellow”。爷爷还是笑嘻嘻说成了“哗啰”。我有点生气了，转过身去不理睬爷爷。爷爷似乎知道我不高兴了，不知从哪来变出来一个红彤彤的大苹果，伸到我的面前对我说：“哗啰，吃‘冰果’喽！”。估计爷爷想说苹果的英文，可是又不会说，所以自己瞎编了一个，读成了“冰果”。这下我忍不住“扑哧”一声笑了出来，我从爷爷手里拿了苹果，我看了看苹果，大口大口地吃了起来。

“安破。”爷爷乐呵呵跟着学了一句。我也不知道为什么，这次我没生爷爷的气。倒觉得爷爷真有意思。

这次教英文虽然效果不佳，但能换回来我和爷爷的欢笑，我觉得挺值得！
