那一年我八岁，残存的记忆让我现在想起来还是心有余悸，虽然，我所说的怕，只是那种气氛渲染下的恐惧，幸运的是我并没有亲身经历到这场劫难之中。

唐山距离我所在的地区有一千多公里，中间时隔两个省，但那次地震的余波还是波及到了我们黑龙江。

记忆中的一个深夜，我被妈妈从睡梦中喊醒，当时好象是后半夜，但我不知道是几点，妈妈对我们说：“快穿好衣服，一会儿有可能要地震。”那时的我并不知道地震是什么东西，也不知道地震的可怕性，但我还是在大人们那庄重的目光和神色中读到了恐惧。

广播里一遍又一遍地播放着《三大纪律，八项注意》，《解放军进行曲》，这些平时很催人向上的乐曲，此时听起来却有说不出的恐惧。家家户户都做好了临战前的准备工作，穿戴整齐，严阵以待，在这种气氛的烘托下，恐惧顿时袭上我的心头，使我深信地震真的是天塌地陷，可怕之极的事。

妈妈对我和六岁的弟弟说：“一会儿如果你们感觉到房子在晃，马上往外跑，如果跑不出去，就躲到炕沿的下面，这样，房子倒了就不会砸到你们了，记住，速度要快，知道了吗？”

我家的炕沿是悬空的，就是在火炕的外面又加出一块厚厚的木板，如果我和弟弟紧紧地贴到下面，是可以放进我们两个幼小的身体的，这个位置是妈妈当时所能想到最安全的地方了，望着妈妈那切切的目光，我问：“那你和爸爸躲哪里啊？”妈妈说：“你爸爸要管你妹妹的安全，不用管我，我就做在炕上，不躲了。”望着妈妈和她怀里只有一岁多的弟弟，我仿佛有种马上就要失去妈妈的感觉，但我不敢哭，心里既害怕又为妈妈担心，是啊，当时的我还是个孩子，又能有什么好的办法，只能泪眼婆娑地等待着那可怕的瞬间。

那一夜，我们惊慌失措地坐到了天明，此后的几个夜晚，我们都是合衣而眠，爸爸妈妈也不敢放心地去睡，总是提心吊胆地听着什么动静。每天的夜晚，各家各户都在书桌或窗台上放上一个倒立的空啤酒瓶子，一但听到瓶子倒下的声音，好迅速撤离。家里和学校的窗子上也都贴满了“米”字型的纸条，慌慌数日后，幸而有惊无险，但我至今回想起来还是感动于妈妈在最危急的关头，把生的希望留给了我们，全然不顾自己的安危，那一刻，八岁的我第一次体会到了母爱的伟大。

“为了生活中努力发挥自己的作用，热爱生命吧。”这是罗丹说的一句话。接下来我就跟你说一说在我身边发生的一件热爱生命的事情，是关于飞蛾的事情。

有一次晚上，我正在桌子上写老师布置的作业，一只飞蛾老是在我的本子上飞来飞去，飞了几分钟，它停在了本子上，我立刻抓住了水彩笔盒的盖子，盖住了这只飞蛾，飞蛾使尽了全身的力气撞盖子，盖子被撞得摇摇欲坠，我被飞蛾震撼了，心里就想：飞蛾的力气这么小，却能把沉重的盖子撞动，真是太不可思议了。

我把盖子提开一点儿缝隙，飞蛾把一只脚放了出去，我的手一不小心松开了，飞蛾的脚被压住了，它拼了命的扯拉终于出来了，可惜的是那只脚断了。但它还是不停的撞盖子，我被飞蛾这种求生的欲望给震惊了，我忍不住把它放走了。我望着断了脚的飞蛾飞走了。

“生物都有求生的欲望，都极其热爱自己的生命，”这是飞蛾告诉我的一个道理。
