当我读完全文的时候。我的嘴角不自觉的上扬了。因为文中的最后一句话是了不起的父与子，无比幸福地紧紧拥抱在一起。我相信以后如果在地震中还发现同样的事件的话，我希望多一点这样的父与子，因为这样的精神已经很难得了我们看到父母之爱的一个个侧面，感受到父母之爱的深沉和宽广。

又到了一年一度的爱牙日，学校号召每班卫生委员给自己班的同学介绍护牙方法和防蛀方法。我们班今年由卫生委员夏雪兰和朱雨飞轮流主持护牙知识讲座。

在主持前5分钟的准备时间里，朱雨飞用手指套住牙齿模型，一手拿着自己精心准备的发言稿和牙刷，一会儿仔仔细细地看发言稿，一会儿将稿子对折，头仰望着天花板嘟囔着背。而夏雪兰，手中什么都没有，只是六神无主地呆望着天花板。

同学们似乎都注意到了这一点，好像存心想看夏雪兰的笑话，坚持她先主持。夏雪兰有些着急，只得犹犹豫豫地小步走向讲台，脸红着小声解释道：“我拷贝了PPT，却没有带U盘……”本想以此为借口好不参加这次主持，却被老师误以为夏雪兰是很想主持的，就热情地把自己拷贝的PPT给了她。

夏雪兰无奈地接过U盘。准备就绪后，她长长地吸了一口气，连声“大家好”都没说，就开始了“主持演讲”。她左手指着PPT上的图片，右手大幅度地做着刷牙动作，这一连串的动作还配着胡乱的台词：“先这样，再这样，然后这样，最后这样。”说罢，转过头来看同学们的反应。

同学们先一愣，然后都不约而同地笑了出来，夏雪兰急得直冒虚汗，满脸通红，老师有些疑惑地问了一句：“介绍完了？”夏雪兰木在那里。老师很想痛痛快快地大笑几声，可为了不伤夏雪兰的心，努力忍住不让自己笑出来，忍了一会儿，实在忍不住了“扑哧”一声笑了出来。同学们看到老师也笑了，笑得更痛快了，有的一边拍打着桌子，一边开怀大笑；有的笑得眼睛挤成一条缝，浑身颤抖；笑得最起劲的就属熊富豪了。他双手捂着肚子，全身蜷缩成一团，笑得喘不过气来。可有的同学努力憋住没让自己笑出来，虽然朱雨飞很尊重自己的竞争对手，但听了这段演讲后，她还是忍不住笑了出来。

高高的个子，扎着一把马尾辫，平时十分自信的夏雪兰被同学的嘲笑声弄得很尴尬，冷场冷了好一段时间，她终于又开口了，前几句讲得还挺好，我们才刚有了点儿头绪，她又好像想起些什么，换了个话题，又只讲了几句，这一换二换早把我们给搞糊涂，而她依然在滔滔不绝地讲着，与其听她的演讲还不如看PPT上的图片呢！

朱雨飞比其他人更多些耐心，可时间一久，她也不想听了。夏雪兰看大家一边听一边打瞌睡，越说越急，越说越混乱，同时大幅度地做着动作。不知不觉她又重新讲了一遍。老师实在听不下去了，委婉地打断了夏雪兰：“夏雪兰讲得非常好，下面有请朱雨飞为我们主持！”夏雪兰马上体会到了老师不想再听下去的意思，有些失落地回到了自己的座位上。

同学们收敛了笑声，将目光转向了朱雨飞，朱雨飞看了一眼稿子，略有些紧张地走上讲台，拿出一副可以套在手上的牙齿模型和自备的牙刷。一切准备就绪后，她大大方方地朝我们深鞠一躬，并作了自我介绍。她个子小巧，身子灵活，皮肤很白，一个可爱的娃娃头，十分热情，是一个阳光女生。

她首先将牙齿模型套在手上，由从外到内的顺序简单介绍了牙齿的结构，接着进入下一主题：刷牙方法。说着，她放下手中的牙齿模型，拿出牙刷，微笑着说：“现在我们来玩一个游戏！比比谁的刷牙方法最正确，只选十位选手，请选手们利用牙齿模型和牙刷让大家看看你的刷牙方法，想参加的同学举手！”同学们一听到“游戏”二字，都踊跃举手。

唯独夏雪兰没有举手，她缩着身子，背靠在椅子上，双手交叉在胸前，撅着嘴，头歪向一边，看着窗外，眼眶红红的，不时有几滴泪水顺着她的脸颊飞快地流下来。

老师看到朱雨飞设置的游戏环节这么受同学们欢迎，情不自禁地点点头。游戏结束后，不知是因为刚才玩得太激动还是怎么了，朱雨飞刚整理好道具，整个班就陷入沉默之中——她忘词了。

【提升】He was born in a small town in South China in the early 50s. In his childhood he liked to sing. Later he entered a music conservatory. In the 70s, he grew up to be an accomplished musician.

特点二：连贯性

句子的连贯性：即能清晰地连接句子的各个部分，没有虚假的平行结构，没有指代不请的代词，没有不清晰的句内关系。

Eg. Upon entering the classroom, the students stood up and said, "good morning!"

【分析】这个句子从语法来讲是正确的，但是句内关系不清楚，到底谁进入了教室？

【提升】When the teacher entered the classroom, the students stood up and said, "good morning!"

【分析】这个句子的连贯性较差，可以利用平行结构来体现连贯性。

特点三：准确性

句子的准确性指句子内部没有不准确的，不必要的词。

Eg. He returned in the early part of the month of August.

【分析】这个句子感觉有故意写长之嫌，需要精简。

【提升】He returned in early August.

特点四：重点突出

好的句子应该重点突出，词的选择，词的重复都有助于句子的重点突出。

Eg. When the bank robbers entered the bank they yelled, "dont move!"

【分析】这个句子比较平淡，可以修改一下动词。

【提升】When the bank robbers rushed into the bank they yelled, "dont move!"

特点五：语法正确，句式多变

句式多变指句子长短结合。如果全篇都是复杂的长难句，文章读起来会晦涩难懂，并且有挑衅阅卷人之嫌。反之，全篇都是短句，感觉有侮辱阅卷人之感。

Eg. Daisy, who was the first-year student of college, would go to a par near her school every day in morning, she would bring a small recorder with her, in park she would find quiet corner and listen to a tape of English stories.

【分析】这个句子不仅仅存在语法问题，另外还有完整性，准确性问题。

前几天，我观看了由武警叔叔主讲的安全教育知识讲座。使我深受感触，不光了解了许多安全知识，还懂得了在生活中怎样运用它们，使自己不处在危险的情况中。

在校长庄严的话语中，讲座开始了，一位武警叔叔开始为我们讲解，听讲座的不光有我们学生，还有许许多多老师。大家都在认真地听着讲解。武警叔叔首先说：“安全教育包括两类，校内安全，校外安全。要防备外来不法分子，防止同学间打闹受伤，防天灾受伤。”我想：嗯，确实是这样，面对不法分子，我们应该躲避、呼救，不要硬拼，要用书包抵挡攻击。但是，武警叔叔接着讲了更多我不知道的知识，比如说，如果有陌生人在校门外，说自己的爸爸妈妈让他来接自己，应该立刻跑去找老师;不要在同学面前摆阔，到家前一定要注意陌生人……这些知识，我一定要牢记在心，防止在生活中被伤害。

在当天中午一座楼上，有一对夫妻和他们刚生下来的一个小宝宝熟睡着，地震来临，夫妻俩趴在宝宝身上，让他活了下来，但这对夫妇却被石壁砸死了……那天中午，地震来临，一位母亲护着孩子，为她咬开了自己的动脉，孩子利用这些血活了下来；一位母亲，护着孩子在手机上留下了她最后的遗言：孩子，如果你还活着，那么妈妈告诉你，我永远永远爱你！同样，还有许多震后的故事在震撼着我们。

在抢救现场，最多见的，是绿、橙、白三种颜色。消防员拼劲全力抢救被困人员解放军叔叔把伤员抬到医疗处，白衣天使者则在医疗出迅速的救治伤员。人们都爱他们。一位父亲看得到自己的孩子被压在瓦砾深处，十分痛心。他还是去救别的更好救的孩子，但是他看着自己的孩子死去。我想，这个孩子在临死那一刻知道，他扶起是爱他的。

在四川以外，无数中国人的心被牵动着。他们自己捐献了许许多多的钱、物资来帮助灾区人民。甚至许多外国人也行动了起来，日本、俄罗斯、美国都派出了搜救队来支援。世界上所有的人都爱他们，为他们架起了希望的桥梁。

星期三下午第三节课，我们进行了火灾逃生演练。

李老师先给我们讲了火灾逃生的方法：当火灾发生的时候，我们要弯下腰，用湿毛巾捂住自己的鼻子，快速逃离火灾现场。

老师刚讲完，校园里响起了集合的哨声。老师组织我们沿着楼梯跑向操场。我们弯下腰，用袖子捂住自己的鼻子，快速跑向操场。

宁老师在演示使用灭火器的过程中，张老师刚好在旁边，从灭火器中白色的泡沫，喷了张老师一身，惹得我们哈哈大笑！

More and more middle school students use WeChat. Different students have

different opinions about using it.

Some students think WeChat is a very useful tool. It can provide a platform

to communicate with their friends. Besides they can make more friends and learn

more knowledge by WeChat. However, some students think WeChat will affect their

study if they spend too much time using it. And they may be tricked by strange

net friends. Last but not least, it will also affect their vision to use WeChat

for a long time.

However, communications being what they were in the days when news traveled by foot, many people did not receive the news for several years. Others, the more obstinate crowd, refused to accept the new calendar and continued to celebrate the new year on April 1. These backward folk were labeled as "fools" by the general populace. They were subject to some ridicule, and were often sent on "fools errands" or were made the butt of other practical jokes.

This harassment evolved, over time, into a tradition of prank-playing on the first day of April. The tradition eventually spread to England and Scotland in the eighteenth century. It was later introduced to the American colonies of both the English and French. April Fools Day thus developed into an international fun fest, so to speak, with different nationalities specializing in their own brand of humor at the expense of their friends and families.

In Scotland, for example, April Fools Day is actually celebrated for two days. The second day is devoted to pranks involving the posterior region of the body. It is called Taily Day. The origin of the "kick me" sign can be traced to this observance.

Mexicos counterpart of April Fools Day is actually observed on December 28. Originally, the day was a sad remembrance of the slaughter of the innocent children by King Herod. It eventually evolved into a lighter commemoration involving pranks and trickery.

Pranks performed on April Fools Day range from the simple, (such as saying, "Your shoes untied, or I accidentally stepped on your glasses!), to the elaborate. Setting a roommates alarm clock back an hour is a common gag. Whatever the prank, the trickster usually ends it by yelling to his victim, "April Fool!"

Practical jokes are a common practice on April Fools Day. Sometimes, elaborate practical jokes are played on friends or relatives that last the entire day. The news media even gets involved. For instance, a British short film once shown on April Fools Day was a fairly detailed documentary about "spaghetti farmers" and how they harvest their crop from the spaghetti trees.

April Fools Day is a "for-fun-only" observance. Nobody is expected to buy gifts or to take their "significant other" out to eat in a fancy restaurant. Nobody gets off work or school. Its simply a fun little holiday, but a holiday on which one must remain forever vigilant, for he may be the next April Fool!
