There are more high-rise apartment buildings built in the city we live to accommodate more city dwellers. To make room for these constructions, a large number of trees are cut down. 四、饭店吃饭，吃不完的可以打包，别以为这样没面子，现在难道不是都在支持光盘行动吗?要知道餐桌上的饭菜来之不易呀!

It is my belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of being an international problem needing international cooperation to resolve。

Because of the differences in environmental policies， resources and technology， international cooperation could provide quicker results and have a greater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations of differing environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology。 By pooling international resources and technology to address the environmental problems， the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed。 Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting the resources and environment of the world as a whole。

One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection。 In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed， the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international mission elected by the participating nations of the world。 All members must agree to abide by the standards established。

The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world。 The impact is long term and international in scope。 Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole， depletion of the ozone layer， water pollution， air polution， etc。， the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation， not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems。

In fact, environmental pollution is a very serious problem the whole world is facing.

it is mainly caused by the waste products released from artificial substances, industrial production and increased consumption of goods. Bedsides, the use of chemical substances in agriculture also causes environmental pollution. Look at the sky, you can see that dense smoke is being released from the high and big chimneys; those dirty and poisonous substances are flowing into the rivers that we use for drinking water and millions of tons of waste products are heaping around us.

How to change this condition?More and more countries are trying to work out some effective means to bring it under control, but no great success has been made.

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if peoples lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution ?

3、不要乱丢垃圾。现在，我们不管是在大街还是小巷，都可以看到垃圾步步为营，这严重影响了美观，还污染环境。还有一种现象就是，不管是在哪条河，都可以看到，小河们已经失去了往日清澈见底的面貌了，水面上漂浮着塑料袋、饮料瓶等垃圾，以及让人看了恶心的动物尸体。这些动物尸体是居民们在家里抓到的老鼠啊什么的，抓住后就随手抛进了小河的“肚子”里。

因为现在，我们的母亲━━地球妈妈已经是遍体鳞伤了。人类毁坏了覆盖在它表面的森林，使一群群在蓝天中自由翱翔的鸟儿无家可归;我们污染了滋润它全身的河流，让一群群惊慌失措的鱼儿失去了生命的精彩;我们破坏了保护它的臭氧层，让更多的紫外线，红外线趁机而入，对动植物造成极大的威胁;同时，还有越来越多的野生动物失去了它们舒适的家园，正在遭受着灭绝之灾…… 这难道是我们想要的吗?

而今，多少濒临绝种的动植物还在苦苦的挣扎?他们在哀求，他们在呼吁，人类啊，你们为什么要这么残忍地对我?是啊，我们人类这样做，究竟是聪明这是愚蠢?你看，地震，海啸，洪水，飓风，泥石流，沙尘暴…… 一系列的自然灾害如潮水般接踵而至，大自然已经给了我们无情的惩罚，难道我们还要一错再错?我们还要自我毁灭吗?人类啊，我们应该思考。

我也在深深的思考着。记得那是一个风和日丽的星期天，我和爸爸去户外爬山。经过两个小时的努力，我们终于爬到了山顶，正当我想体会杜甫老爷爷“会当凌绝顶，一览众山小”的惬意时，我却听到从山下传来一阵“轰轰”的声音。开始我还以为是谁在发动摩托车，也没太在意。可是这一声音持续了很久，我便开始纳闷了，到底是怎么回事呢?我在山上东张西望，很想弄个明白。

爸爸让我循着声音的方向去找，我根据爸爸教我的方法，看到了这样的一幕：原来就在半山腰，一群农民伯伯正在砍树，只见一颗颗小松树倒在我的眼前，慢慢的松林里倒下了一大片。此时我的心里不由得燃起了一股无名之火，要知道，森林可是一座巨大的宝库啊!我愤怒地看着那几位伐W的人，真想好好地对他们说：伯伯，你们不应该砍伐小松树，它们现在还是那么的小啊!你们更不应该破坏森林，要知道，世界上没有了植物就没有了绿色，没有了植物就没有了我们赖以呼吸的氧气，没有了植物，可爱的小鸟就没有了家，它们甚至不能生存!保护自然，保护环境，人人有责啊!

所以，为了我们的地球妈妈，为了我们共同的家园，作为地球家园中的一员，我们每个人都应该为这个大家庭尽一份心、出一份力!少年朋友们让我们都来关爱地球，保护地球!让蓝天更蓝，让白云更白，让鸟儿有可爱的家，让鱼儿游的更加欢畅，让生命之水长流，让生命之绿永驻，让我们共同拥有一个和谐美丽的家园吧!

看着现在的地球，我不禁想问：“现在的地球怎么了?从前那个披着绿色的外套的地球到哪去了?”地球上的绿色大量的减少，森林大量的减少;黄色却不断的增多，土地也开始大面积的沙漠化。

再看一看热闹的都市，垃圾遍地，空气中布满了细菌。一条条曾经清澈的小河也已不复存在，现在的小河，不知布满了多少垃圾，s甚至还有人把工业废水倒进了河中，现在的小河，河面上飘满了白色垃圾，原本清澈的水已经变成了污水，散发出阵阵恶臭，过往的行人都捂着鼻子逃开了。试想，在这样的水中，鱼儿怎么还能生活?人怎么还能喝这样的污水?

现在的工厂，只为了提高自己的效率，只为了让自己获益更大，几把工业废水排到了小河中，把毒气当普通烟雾一样，从烟囱排了出去，要知道，这些毒气不被人吸进去，就会污染大面积的空气，被人吸进去则会严重影响人的肺功能，使人呼吸困难。可以说是两者都有害。

森林，地球的肺，为人类带来的好处不计其数：防洪、放沙暴、过滤空气等等等等，数不胜数。可现在呢?森林正在以每分钟38公顷的速度大面积减少，没有了森林，我们的地球就好象少了一根支柱，地球就好象开始摇摇欲坠起来。

面对这样的地球，我们能怎么做?我们应该怎么做?

首先应该从根本上做起，从我们力所能及的事情做起：节约用水，争取少污染水，拒绝食用野生动物……如果说全国每个人在每次用水后都关上水龙头，那么，一天下来，我们可以省19个水缸的水。如果我们多用肥皂，少用洗洁精，有许许多多的水避免受到污染。我曾见过这样一条宣传标语：利用可再生资源—别等到能源耗竭的那一天!的确，人类目前使用的能源90%是石油、天然气和煤。这些燃料的形成过程需要亿万年，是不可再生的资源。太阳能、风能、潮汐能、地热能则是可再生的，被称为可再生能源。人们把那些不污染环境的能源称为“清洁能源”。使用清洁能源就能避免污染了。像今年国家很提倡的“支持绿色照明——人人都用节能灯”就是一个很好的例子：“中国绿色照明工程”是我国节能重点之一。按照该工程实施计划，“九五”期间全国将推广节能高效照明灯具。到2000年争取节约照明用电220亿千瓦时，并节省相应的电厂燃煤，减少二氧化硫、氮氧化物、粉尘、灰渣及二氧化碳的排放。

诸如此类，像这样的事我们还能做很多，就让我们一起为环保努力吧!
