1998年，流经中国大地的长江、嫩江、松花江等大将大河，隐去往日温柔美丽的笑脸，露出了凶猛可怖的狰狞。肆虐的暴雨，横扫着中国的南方和北方，暴雨所到之处，江湖水涨，河沟漫溢。咆哮的江水卷起了一次又一次洪峰，吞噬了一个个村庄，一亩亩良田，一座座城市，一所所学校。

方便？我有些纳闷了，电视.广播.报纸不天天都在宣传保护环境，防止污染吗？这样图方便.省事，随地乱扔垃圾算不算环境污染呢？可能在这些图方便的人看来，工业排放废气.废水是污染，而小小的一袋生活垃圾算什么？要知道单就我们中国十三亿人口，每人每天都只丢一点垃圾，那一天就有十三亿点垃圾啦！那一年呢？想想看，这是多么可怕的一个数字啊！在学校附近的马路边上插上“禁止喇叭”的牌子，这些人类善良的举动已摆在眼前，但是在它们的背后却是继续污染。所以治表不治里是没有什么意义可言的，我们要的是实实在在的针对与硬措施。

有人认为环境乃小问题，实际上，随着社会的发展，时代的进步，环境问题已是一个涉及全局的战略性问题。保护环境与我们国家.社会和人民的根本利益密切相关的，它直接制约着我国经济和社会的可持续发展，关系着中华民族的世代繁荣昌盛，关系着整个人类的生存和发展。

众所周知，地球是我们赖以生存的家园，人类今天的发展与竞争离不开地球的帮助。有人曾说,地球是我们的摇篮，更是我们的母亲。我觉得这句话形象地道出了地球与人类之间相互依存的关系。然而，在科技飞速发展的二十一世纪，人们在享受物质财富的同时，有没有发现，我们身边的环境正在严重的恶化？

不错，南极臭氧层空洞、两极冰川融化、长江流量减少；水土流失、洪水泛滥、土地沙漠化……难道这样的生态灾难还少吗？汶川、玉树大地震，舟曲泥石流……这就是大地母亲向我们发出的警告。如果人类再不幡然醒悟，从身边做起，好好保护环境，那么最终的结果只能是走向灭亡，重蹈楼兰的覆辙。生态破坏、环境污染已经对人类生存发展构成了极大的威胁，也许在不久的将来，《2012》电影中的镜头就会成为现实。现在，很多人都举着“低碳节能，保护环境”的大旗，可真正付诸于行动的又有多少？因此，特向你们发出几点倡议：

1、 拒绝白色污染。不论到哪里购物（包括菜市场）都不要使用收费或免费的塑料袋，尽量自备布袋。因为这些塑料袋一旦被埋入地下，几千年都不会分解，其危害不亚于废电池。

2、 不乱扔垃圾。出门在外，最好带一个袋子，将自己用过的废旧物品放进袋子里，等找到了垃圾桶时再扔掉。

3、 实行家庭垃圾分类制度。用不同颜色的垃圾袋区分可回收和不可回收垃圾，再按其种类丢进垃圾桶，能给垃圾回收工作带来不少的便利。

4、 珍惜水资源。不将生活垃圾倒进河里；洗手擦肥皂时应该将水龙头关掉；淋浴时脚下放个水盆，积下来的水可以冲厕所，这样也能节约很多水资源。

5、 节约每一寸纸。复印资料或其它文件时，尽量采用双面复印的方法。虽说只是一面纸的问题，但天长日久，积少成多，一年下来就可以少砍几棵大树。

6、 节能减排。堵车时，如果队伍太长，就干脆将发动机关掉，既节约了汽油，又减少废气排放。

正所谓木本水源，一脉相承。我们的老祖宗给我们创造了这样一个良好的环境，我们就应该好好珍惜。希望你们采纳我的建议，珍爱地球，保护环境。

水龙头不停的流出清澈的自来水，用水的人不知去向，开着电视机、电脑、空调的房间里却没有人，废旧的笔记本和电池被随手扔进垃圾桶等等，这些生活中的小事，看来虽小，却对地球环境是极大的污染和浪费，久而久之，会给人类带来无限的伤害，请保护地球，不要再浪费资源了，资源是有限的，地球正在被人类一点一点的破坏。

每天因为人类的大肆砍伐和破坏，地球上的绿色植物都在一天天的减少，终有一天我们会受到大自然的惩罚，甚至会让整个人类的家在地球上消失。

地球和环境有着密切的关连！25亿年前的地质事件研究表明，在地球诞生初期的大气层其实是缺氧的二氧化碳大气层，与今天富氧的大气层迥然不同。随着地球的演化，早期孕育的生物（主要是菌类）将大气层中绝大部分二氧化碳 “ 固化 ” 进碳酸盐岩 ( 主要是石灰岩和白云岩 )中 。余下的一小部分二氧化碳正好以 “ 温室效应 ” 保护着地球，使生命得以繁衍、发展、进化。而今，地球既通过碳酸盐岩的沉淀而从大气和水体中吸入二氧化碳，又通过火山爆发、断裂作用（地震、海啸等）向大气中呼出二氧化碳，来维持生物圈、水圈、大气圈和岩石圈复杂的碳动态平衡过程，维持我们人类的可持续发展。

人类为了要发展壮大，势必要向自然界索取能量，人们尝试利用大自然的风能、水能、闪电、日照（太阳能）。随着生产力的发展，特别是工业化进程的加速，这些能源远不能满足需要，化石燃料（煤、油页岩等）便成为了动力的主要来源。化石燃料实质上是地质历史上成千万年上亿年大自然积累的太阳能和固化的碳，人类却要在几十年、一二百年内将其释放出来，无疑将对环境产生了重大的影响。所以我们人类要保护环境，善待环境，才能拥有这来之不易的地球----我们的美好家园！

In fact, environmental pollution is a very serious problem the whole world is facing.

it is mainly caused by the waste products released from artificial substances, industrial production and increased consumption of goods. Bedsides, the use of chemical substances in agriculture also causes environmental pollution. Look at the sky, you can see that dense smoke is being released from the high and big chimneys; those dirty and poisonous substances are flowing into the rivers that we use for drinking water and millions of tons of waste products are heaping around us.

How to change this condition?More and more countries are trying to work out some effective means to bring it under control, but no great success has been made.
