众所周知，现在在我们身边，浪费资源的例子有很多：水龙头的水哗哗地流着，用水人却不知去向;电视机卖力地播放节目，房间里却空无一人;厚厚的本子被随手扔进垃圾桶，仔细看发现只是用了几面而已;富丽堂皇的饭店里，桌子上的“剩饭剩菜”竟然多数是只夹了一两筷子的美味佳肴。

因此，我诚恳地向大家提出以下建议：

一、洗手完要关紧水龙头。现在我们地球虽然有70%是水了，但可饮用的淡水很少，大多都是不可饮用的咸海水。

二、电视机不看了要关掉。电力资源也是有限的。想一想未来要是没有电了，那该有多可怕呀!

三、本子用过后如果还有剩余，可以用来当练习本，如果没有剩余，背面还能当草稿纸。纸是树做的，要用树就要砍树，砍树就会造成土地沙漠化。要避免土地沙漠化的方法就是少砍树，多植树。

四、饭店吃饭，吃不完的可以打包，别以为这样没面子，现在难道不是都在支持光盘行动吗?要知道餐桌上的饭菜来之不易呀!

以上是我提出的建议，也许还不够成熟，但是希望大家能参考一下。当然，我这微小建议如果大家能认真对待，每个人出一份力，那么，我们地球母亲的环境将变得更美好!

21世纪可谓挑战与机遇并同在，希望与困难共存。它在给我们带来许多美好憧憬的同时，也给我们带来了许多难题，其中首要的就是环境问题。

环境与我们的生活极为密切，与我们的生存息息相关。很久以来，我们赖以生存的环境就引起了许多有识之士的极大关注。1972年6月5日，人类环境会议在斯德哥尔摩开幕，会上通过了著名的《人类环境宣言》。同年10月，第27届联合国大会通过决议，将以后每年的6月5日定为世界环境日。

今年的环境日已过去两天了，但人们对环境的思考和保护永远不会停止，在我们的生命历程里，应该天天都是环境日。

伟大的无产阶级革命导师恩格斯说过："我们连同我们的血、肉、头脑一起都属于自然界，存在于自然界。"自然界作为一种客观存在，它为人类提供了各种物质和能量，是人类存在和延续的基础。

优美和谐的自然环境，必然为我们带来身心的愉悦和无限的乐趣。"明月松间照，清泉石上流"，让我们感受清幽;"大漠孤烟直，长河落日圆"，让我们触摸壮丽;"流连戏蝶时时舞，自在娇莺恰恰啼"，让我们聆听喧闹;"春水碧如天，画船听雨眠"，让我们亲近悠闲;"棠梨叶落胭脂色，荠麦花开白雪香"，让我们体味斑澜。碧海蓝天，看海鸥飞翔;冰封雪飘，听松涛轰鸣;莺飞草长，闻鸟语、嗅花香。清晨，观赏大海分娩太阳;夜晚，清数广宇闪烁星辰;雨天，让雨点亲吻面颊;雪天，让雪花栖挂眉梢;喂蚂蚁美餐，浇花草甘露;问候晨曦"你好"，道别月色"晚安"。

美丽的自然带来美丽的心境，美丽的心境带来了美丽的生活。千百年来，人类在不断地认识自然，利用自然，改造自然中造福着自己。

世界文学大师雨果说："大自然既是善良的慈母，同时也是冷酷的屠夫。"近年来，人类由于对环境不够珍惜，随心所欲，滥伐林木，滥建厂房，生存环境遭到了严重破坏，各种环境问题接踵而至：森林退化，沙尘暴扬，水土流失，洪水肆虐，火灾频发，噪音刺耳，臭气熏天，酸雨赤潮，臭氧空洞……空中烟囱林立，浓烟滚滚，河中死鱼漂荡，污水滔滔;地上垃圾遍布，废渣成堆……人为地破坏环境，无异于自掘坟墓，早在1996年联合国环境署就曾发出警告：南极臭氧空洞正逐步增大，地面紫外线辐射增强，皮肤癌发病率上升;1.2亿人口生活在混浊的空气里;12亿人口生活缺水;12%的哺乳动物和11%的鸟类濒临灭绝;每年地表土壤流失200亿吨;森林以每年450万公顷的速度消失。

惊人的数字，令人毛骨悚然，这其实已向我们发出了严正的警告：如果只顾盲目地吮吸自然的乳汁，而不立即行动起来，投入保护环境、拯救家园的战斗，最终毁灭的将是我们人类。

尊敬的领导，敬爱的老师，亲爱的同学们，环境保护是一项长期而又艰巨的任务，让我们珍爱生命，善待自己，保护好我们的环境家园吧!让我们生命的每一天，天天都是环境日!

看那一片片绿洲般草坪。休闲的老人们开朗了，在草坪上做健身操，脸上露出了微笑。谈笑风声的年轻人更加起劲、入迷。可爱天真的孩子在草坪上变得更加活泼。这是绿色的性格。

可是现在，人们疯狂的乱滥伐树木，不仅破坏了森林，伤害了动物，更危及到人类自身的安全。还有，这还会使天然的绿色与我们永别了，剩下的是荒凉和冷酷。于是，台风，洪水怒吼着，不时向人们发出灾难性的报复。失去了森林这个天然的保护层，台风，洪水更加容易向我们发起进攻。天暗了，乌云压下来了，雨下起来了。台风吹跨了没有保护层的堤坝。洪水冲了下来，村庄被淹没了，台风又把它们吹得无影无踪。这一切，都人类自己造成的。这也是绿色对人类的惩罚。

如果在你生日那天，亲手种一棵环保树，那在你生命的跑道上会一直有着绿色的踪影。如果在植树节那天，发动你的朋友，在地球上种几棵小树苗，你就是在延长你的“生命线”。如果你少用一张纸，如果少用一次性筷子，那世界上不就多了几棵绿色的树了吗？

所以，我人类再这样一味地乱砍滥伐下去，不但萃绿的森林会被茫茫无边的沙漠所代替，而且也将危及到人类自身的生存。难道不是吗？绿色是生命的象征，破坏绿色，就是抹杀生命；发展绿色，就是绿色，就是保住生命。

我们是祖国未来的建设者，面对绿的危机岂能袖手旁观，无动于衷！植树造林是我们唯一的出路，也是我们每一位同学义不容辞的责任。同学们，行动起来吧！从我做起，从现在做起，用绿色装点祖国，让我们筑起一道绿色长城！去创造一个鸟语花香的新环境。

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited.

Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive.

We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are

still put into rivers.

We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?

If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.

Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them.

The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control.

Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.
