大家肯定都知道，在我们的地球母亲上，有很多丰富的物质，而地球是我们唯一的家园。如果我们想要生活变得幸福、美好，就必须保护生态环境，维持生态平衡，否则，就会失去我们美丽的家园。

原本，地球是由一片片茂密树林和一望无际的大海组成的，动物们在树林里玩耍，鱼儿们在海洋里嬉戏。原本，大地母亲是幸福的。可是，由于人类的存在却让大地母亲苦不堪言：在无数次无节制的砍伐中导致了一次又一次的泥石流、沙尘暴、山洪暴发，让茂密的大深林变成了一望无际的金黄色的大沙漠。而我国的首都北京，每年都要经历数百次沙尘暴的侵蚀。如果人类再不保护环境，北京城就要被风沙给淹没了！

20--年，一场“环保风暴”在中国内地刮起，“生态环保”早已成为了人们街谈巷议的重要事情。人类为解决现实或潜在的环境问题，确实做出了不少贡献：法国政府1996年4月提出了一项与城市污染作斗争，将市民“呼吸对身体无害的空气”的权利放在神圣地位的方案。获得了大众的支持。现在，有不少人们已经了解了生态环境的重要性，不少人民做出了不小的改善：从塑料购物袋改为布袋，从车水马龙变成了绿色出行。

最后，我呼吁大家：保护生态环境，创造绿色家园。

Our great motherland is one of the largest countries in the world. It has a population of over eleven hundred million. Peking is its capital.

We Chinese people are brave and hardworking. We have a glorious revolutionary tradition. We drove out Japanese invaders and overthrew Kuomingtang government. In 1949 the Peoples Republic of China was founded. Since then great changes have taken place in our motherland. Now our country is getting stronger and stronger. We Chinese people are working hard to make our motherland into a powerful socialist country.

There are still many proble of environntal protection in recent years. One of the st serious proble is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harto people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is re, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of dern cities.

To protect the environnt, governnts of ny countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environntal pollution. Therefore, governnts are playing the st iortant role in the environntal protection today.

In opinion, to protect environnt, the governnt st take even re concrete asures. First, it should let people fully realize the iortance of environntal protection through education. Second, ch re efforts should be de to put the population planning policy into practice, because re people ans re people ans re pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environnt intentionally should be severely punished. We should let theknow that destroying environnt ans destroying nkind theelves.
