In the early years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of the yellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods. As a result, the Huangtu plateau which once was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was in several developed countries.

Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it, poisonous cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horrible scene!What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature once suffered. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation. Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we are relying. First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers and lakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made to announce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Third enterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on the environment and work out solutions for the problems. Only by changing the way we treat the environment can along we get along well with it.

Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves.

mid-autumn day

mid-autumn day is a traditional festival in china. almost everyone likes to eat mooncakes on that day. most families have a dinner together to celebrate the festival. a saying goes, "the moon in your hometown is almost always the brightest and roundest". many people who live far away from homes want to go back to have a family reunion. how happy it is to enjoy the moon cakes while watching the full moon with your family members.

With the development of economy, there are more and more vehicles on the

streets. Governments at all levels have to do something to solve the problem of

heavy traffic in the city.

I would like to share with you some ideas about this problem: firstly, the

government should build more roads. This action can decrease the degree of

street congestion and make it possible for cars to run faster than ever before.

But each coin has two sides. If a city builds too many roads, the streets will

occupy much land. We will have little space used for other purposes. So

secondly, more special bus lines for public transportation should be added. Thus

people can go conveniently everywhere they like; they will not ride bikes or

drive cars. In this way, the number of cars and bikes on the road will be

greatly cut down.

As far as I am concerned, if we want to solve this problem, we should set

up an idea of public transportation first and give a priority to this idea in

our traffic work.

空气是我们赖以生存的元素之一，但现在空气变污浊了。随着生活水平的提高，小汽车越来越多，小汽车屁股冒着的废气却严重污染环境。因此，我们平时要少开小汽车，多乘坐公交车或地铁等公共交通工具，这样就能大大减少废气的产生。另外，我们也要注重绿化，多栽花植树，净化空气，使我们的城市成为真正的“花城”，处处清新怡人。

水是我们生命中不可缺少的，但它也逃不过被污染的厄运。为了自己的利益，许多工厂把废水直接排入河流中，原本清澈的河水瞬间变色。他们是否知道，如今地球上的淡水资源已经寥寥无几了，决不能再污染浪费地球上的每一滴水，不然最后一滴水将会是我们所流下的眼泪。节约用水应该从日常生活中做起，尽量循环利用水资源，比如用洗米水来浇花，用拖地水来冲厕所……

对于保护环境，做好垃圾分类也能起到很大作用。在大街上垃圾随处可见，那是因为有些人为了方便自己，垃圾随手一扔，没有要把垃圾放进垃圾桶里的自觉性，更别提垃圾分类了。其实，只要人人在处理垃圾的时候树立正确放置垃圾的意识，做好垃圾分类，就是解决环境污染这个大难题最行之有效的办法之一。

为了使空气更新鲜，河水更清澈，天空更湛蓝……我们一起行动起来，齐做“绿天使”，从自己做起，从身边小事做起，保护好自然环境，让地球妈妈恢复以前的美好、和谐吧!

My Traveling in Beijing

A few years ago, I went to Beijing. I really had a great time there.

The first time I went to Beijing, I was very confused. Beijing was very

big. It was so big that I couldn’t find the right directions. And the traffic

was always so busy.

During my staying in Beijing, I visited so many places of interest, such as

the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, and so

on. I also went to Wangfujing shopping mall. But things were very expensive. So

I just did the window shopping.

What’s more, the most exciting thing for me was taking the underground.

Although it was crowded, I still felt excited. Because I could follow the steps

of the modern city.

Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more

serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water

pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on

a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a

large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for

the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have

more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for

energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street, the gas

stations are short of gasoline, even the government has raise the price so many

times in order to control the needs of gasoline, but it’s still not working.

Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance.

However, the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted

water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the

environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the

environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more

about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance

between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in

the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the

waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public

transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands

together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way, our earth

could be a better place to live in.

Green represents all plants, green represents the appearance of a city.

Maybe now is not the lack of green around us, but after 10 years, 20 years later, or even 100 years later the world is what its like to be? We never know what, but in the future if one day the world is the day we didnt know to cherish? So, we should ponder, to really go to contribute to our home, not on the mouth say dont act, have a flyer so simple, that is the worlds people to work together to do!

Maybe I say very serious but thats the truth. Summer vacation the streets every community in the garbage classification, also for all kinds of activities. In the supervision and inspection for a long time under the guidance of most residents are consciously throw rubbish classification. But not for long, for a period of time you dont consciously, every household can not really clear of each garbage, a black bag thrown who will know whether it is dry or wet garbage. This only shows that we are not consciously, just let it go.

Recycling garbage classification, plant greening, etc. Its all about trying to a green home, we should actively participate in, to mobilize.

Environmental protection is inseparable from the us, only green city will be more healthy and beautiful. Environmental protection bags refused the "white pollution", the disappearance of the disposable chopsticks refused to cut down trees these examples abound. World expo and exhibition of various resources reuse of environmental protection concept to us, our life and environment have been together, I think the world expo is the environmental protection pioneer, really tells us that environmental protection is the first major step of the world.

Green is around you, hope still can appreciate slowly with handguns?

也许现在我们身边不缺少绿色，但10年后，20年后，甚至100年后世界又会是什么样子呢?我们无从猜测，但未来如果有一天世界毁灭了难道那一天我们才知道要珍惜吗?所以，我们要深思了，要真正去为我们的家园做贡献，并不是口上说说不行动，发发宣传单这么简单，这是全球人要共同努力做到的事!

也许我说得很严重但事实如此。暑假里各街道各社区都在进行垃圾分类，还进行各种活动。在长时间监督人员检查指导下大部分居民都自觉扔垃圾时分类。但好景不长，又过了一段时间大家就不自觉了，每家每户不可能真的每样垃圾都清楚，一个黑袋子一扔谁会知道里面到底是干还是湿垃圾。这种情况只说明我们不自觉，只是别人让这么做就去做。

垃圾分类，种植绿化，回收资源等等这都是为了一个绿色家园在努力，我们要积极主动参与，动员起来。

环保也离不开我们，只有环保的城市才会更加健康美好。环保袋拒绝了“白色污染”，一次性筷子的消失拒绝了砍伐树木这些例子数不胜数。世博会上又向我们展各种资源再利用的环保概念，我们的生活与环保已联系在一起，我想世博会就是环保先锋，真正告诉我们环保是世界迈出得第一大步。

绿色就是身边，是希望一晃而过还是可以慢慢欣赏?

环保就是在生活中，是希望多一些还是少一些?

去一同建造绿色家园，去向环保先锋学习，相信10年后20年后，100年后世界依然这样美好，不希望灾难降临。

“拯救地球，就是拯救未来。”可是又有多少人真正去做到过。人们对满地的垃圾视而不见，街道上随意吐口香糖成为习惯;认为街道的干净与否于己无关，便袖手旁观;对于河水的污染，动物的灭绝，森林的砍伐。作为小学生的我面对这一切，从心底里说：“这样的地球很受伤，很无助，实在不应该!”

人们砍伐了一片又一片的森林。建起了许许多多的高楼大厦，开发了不计其数的房子;可是，谁又会想过那失去的森林。新闻上时不时报道某某工厂排出了废水废气，超标污染了环境;那工厂的人可否曾想过，这样做的后果会对地球有多大的伤害，对地球的寿命更加的短暂呢?

现在的地球在哭泣，因为河水从清澈到浑浊;让蔚蓝天空变成了到处是阴霾笼罩;树木由森林变成了填鸭似的屈指可数。人们那保护环境的决心去哪儿了，那绿化造林的思想又去哪了?

有一回，在超市的厕所里。水龙头“哗哗”的声音不绝于耳，白花花的水就这样流淌了下来。我想：“又是哪个马大哈不关水龙头。于是，我走了过去，把水龙头关紧了。”节约不仅是一口号，更应该从爱惜每一滴每一点水做起。更要树立“节约用水光荣，浪费用水可耻!”的观念，时时处处注意节约用书。

虽然我是一名小学生，但我同样可以为环保做些力所能及的事。去年的植树节，我便和妈妈到大屏障森林公园参加了植树。虽然只有寥寥可数三棵，但我想：三棵虽少不能带来什么可观性的代表，但每个人都参加进来那就是可观的成果。那我们又为地球争取到了多一点的呼吸空气的来源!

“超载的地球迅速疲倦着;忧郁的地球急剧苍老着;似重伤般的哭泣着。几乎可以看到的只是——漂浮宇宙的一口悬棺!”这是李松涛《拒绝末日》的诗句。是啊!如果我们再污染环境，乱砍伐树木，那么地球就要真的灭亡了。

在此，我想向广大的市民呼吁一声：热爱地球吧!善待地球吧!善待人类吧!
