A HONG KONG boy has published an English novel of some 50,000 words. The novel was included in Hong Kong’s book exhibition, Xinhua News Agency reported Thursday. 雪下得愈大，外面一片银色，雪不是飘下来的，而是被狂风乱刮下来的，看不见人影，伸出五指便被打的生痛。

爷爷裹着厚厚的衣服，戴着帽子，骑着车去菜场买菜。他对我说：“爷爷今天去菜场了。”爷爷是个木讷的人，他只说了一句话便踏出家门，骑着车出去了。我望着外面的大雪，总想说些什么，但又咽了回去。

爷爷刚出去没多久，屋里便来了电话，说要请我们出去吃团圆饭，我想着爷爷冒着大雪去买菜，便嚷嚷着不去，理由是家里有菜没有必要去。妈妈却不同意，她说别人邀请我们去，不去不好意思。我被硬拉着出了家门，在家门口，我们遇见了爷爷。

爷爷像个“雪人”，一身的雪，只有脱掉围巾和帽子才能看清他的真面目。

“去哪儿的”爷爷奇怪地望着我们。

“哎呀，亲家请吃饭，走吗，一起去怎样?”妈妈回答。

“不行呀，我这有菜，还要做呢，有鱼、肉、鸡…。”爷爷说着举起在车后的菜。

“算了，晚上回来我们再吃”妈妈应付差事地答了答，便牵着我走了。

我坐在餐厅里，虽然饭菜不错，但却没有一点儿胃口，世间什么山珍海味都比不上在家里陪伴爷爷吃的家常美食。爷爷他真心诚意地为我们着想，我们却用这种方式刺痛他的心。

晚上，我们回到了家，发现他心脏病又犯了，当我们待在急诊室外等候时，滚大的泪珠滴落在地上。我还记得他那桌上的饭菜，唉，可能吧，他去了医院，躺在床上，什么也没有留下，我也只知道这些，但他留下的，是世界上最珍贵的东西，那是爱，还有那满屋的亲情与温暖。
