Sincc I entered college I have felt a great burden off my mind and I just want to relax. So do my classmates. We enjoy playing cards and are very skillful at it. We seldom work on our lessons unless there is an examination. Then we work under pressure. I know it is not good, but what I lack is self control. Mat of us know it is a problem, and it is time we did something about it.

As youth, we are in the prime of our life. We should make good use of our golden time. The teachers take pains to teach us every day so that we can acquire more knowledge. We should not fail their expectations. I should not rest content with what I have done. Entering cnllege is just a step in the threshold of the palace of knowledge. The road is long. The modern age needs the well educated. The future world is highly competitive. If we idle away our time while young wo shall regret it in vain when we are did.

From now on I will concentrate all my energy on my studies as to qualify myself as a talent in the 21st century. Time and tide wait for no man. I should value my time. What about you, my friend?

我不知道时间是什么样子，但我可以在每个人、每件事与物之间发觉到它的面庞；我不知道时间存在于哪里，但我可以在每个人、每件事与物之间觉察到它出没的身影；我不知道时间给予了我生命何种意义与价值，但我能够明了“前不见古人，后不见来者”。其实，对于我来说时间虽然走入了我的生命，但我始终如一是个局外人。这并不是因为时间忽略了我，而是我以一种超然的态度忽略掉时间。

一个人离开了人世，另一个人来到了人世。我们觉得离去的人不仅失去了时间而且也失去了活着的全部，相反的是来到的人获得了时间，也获得了活着的全部内容与存在的权利。可谁又知，时间不曾离去也不曾到来，到来与离去的只是人，或者是那么被灌满意义与价值的事件与物品，而时间一如既往地存在于那些到来的人、事件与物品之中。

因为有了时间，我们学会了珍惜；因为有了时间人类有了历史，人有了年龄；因为有了时间，我们有了可以度量岁月的东西。不过也正因为有了时间我们才明确地看到失去，失去了青葱而如好的青春，那些锦色年华；也正因为有了时间我们才有所得到，得到了值得记忆的人与事，得到了属于自己的历史，得到了属于自己的青春岁月。

但我们终究还是不知道时间究竟为何样，它存在于哪里？从古至今多少人发问过，苦苦追寻过，可并没有获得一个标准的答案与结论，终归又被时间所带走，终归又被时间所遗忘。在时间公正的面前没有一个人能够幸免于被带走与被遗忘这个事实。即便是来年照常花开与花落、草的荣与枯，可来年的花非花，草非草。纵然如此，我们还得做些有意义与有价值的事来证明时间的存在，并尽其可能觉察到时间的根源，以便我们不再受制于时间。

那么如此说来时间既不受制于人、事件或是某一物品，它至始至终可以一如既往即是永恒地存在，而相反的是为时间所受制的恰恰是人、事件或是物品。即使是这些东西不再存在着了，但时间依然如故。只是在别角色之间穿梭与流淌，攫取不同的人物与事件，授予不同的意义与价值，如此循环往复地进行下去。

不过，时间总是要有所预示与提醒的。即便是不预示，其实它早已镌刻与镶嵌在了变化与消失着的事物之中，诸如四季的更替之后引起的草木枯荣，人的生离死别，气候的温与暖等此类都冥冥之中离不开了时间的影响。在它的作用之下，一切都时刻在变化与发展着。从某种意义上讲时间是一切事物的忠诚见证者。可我们常常将时间忽略，只有看到身边的亲人或是陌生人离开人世时我们才恍然失去了多少珍贵的岁月，才倍感岁月蹉跎；只有看到身边的草木凋零才会明白原来自然的规律也昭示着岁月不停地更替。这些如此鲜活过但却终将为时间所遗忘，为时间所带走的事物不过成了时间转盘上的一粒尘埃，终将被遗弃。

人如若不想到时间给生命带来局限性时就不会觉得生命有多么短暂与宝贵，不想到时间遗弃生命之后的一无所有就不会珍视当下所拥有的一切，更不会在这短暂生命之下苦苦为生命寻找一个永恒的归宿。我们认为的一切生命的意义与价值在时间面前不过是时间的缩影罢了，但这并不意味着生命的意义与价值等同于时间，因为人不存在了可以无意义与价值可言，但时间依旧永存，不存在的人的时间只是更换了不同的人与物。说得悲观些，即是这个世界不存在我之前存在着，存在我时依然存在着，并不会因为我的某一天离去而毁灭。唯一不同的是这个世界没有我的话，我是一个无意义与价值可言的人。

可是，即便世界没有了我以后我是一个没有意义与价值可言的人，或者是时间带走了我所仅有的短暂的宝贵岁月。但是我依然不相信时间将我弄得一无所有，一无是处，我想那些失去的一定被保存在了一个秘密的花园，只待我去发掘。至少来说，我的记忆是一个证明，那些发生过的事与见过的人常会不由自主地生活在记忆之中。只不过那些失去过的岁月再度在记忆之中跳跃时不再显现得那么鲜活，不再那么显得刻骨，不再显得那么紧凑。总会有几分陈旧，总会被时间的沙滩所搁浅，总会断断续续。只有在这个时候我才时常狼狈地承认着有些失去的岁月与遗忘过的人注定成为了永远的失去。

或许，我们每个人都存在时间记忆的契机，在我们对失去的苦苦追寻之后，那些曾经的人与事又犹如潮水般涌上心头。但是我们又很少能够把我住这么一个契机，重新勾勒出记忆的痕迹，让失去的岁月重现。因为时间似乎分配着其它事物让我们去打理，譬如为生活奔波，忙碌于生活之中的琐碎而令我们无暇顾及到那些能够再度鲜活的过去，让我们永远地失去失去了的。在这点来说时间是残酷的，好在的是并非完全地残酷，于此的同时给予了我们回忆幸福的契机。

在大多数人的眼中活着就是生命的意义与价值，从出生开始就习惯一种重复的生活模式。
