If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often, and never give up a thing because it was or inconvenient. if we want light, we must conquer darkness. perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results. “there are only two creatures,” says a proverb, “who can surmount the pyramids—the eagle and the snail.”

if i were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; i would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. i would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.the habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. i often hear grown up people say “ i could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so” , and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.

if I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. it takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. it only needs early cultivation to become a power.

After I go to school, teachers always tell me to study hard, so that I can

be the excellent student. But now I have grown up, I have my own idea. The

夜里，柔和的月光微笑着走进了我的卧室里。

我睡意全无，无聊地盯着头上那土黄而发白，似乎一望无际的天花板。

忽然，那月光似乎轻轻地对我说：“来吧，我带你去看个好玩的东西。”

我猛然站了起来，跟随月光来到了窗子边。“准备好，它来了。”月光努力抑制住激动。

它，终于来了……

似一只悄然无息却积蓄待发的鹰，又似一根魅力无穷而法力无边的魔法棒，它悄悄地来了……

窗外的一切，都显得狰狞恐怖。所有的景物都蒙上一层阴森的黑影。

忽然，那黑黝黝的树木轻微地摆动起来。我向东望去，在一望无际的东方，似乎有一种漩涡般的物体。

突然，我忽地听见似乎有东西轻轻地敲击窗玻璃，发出“呜—呜—呜”的声音。我使劲向窗外看去，在黑黑的夜幕下，什么东西也没有，但那声音仍然响个不停。

这时，在呜呜的声音中，还夹着种唰啦唰啦的声音。东边漩涡状的物体越来越大，越来越清晰，那呜呜声也越来越响亮，我这才晓得，那所谓的“它”，原来是风!

那风打东边卷来，速度极快。它由小至大。树冠微微晃动，发出唰啦唰啦的响声。

忽然，只听“咣”地一声巨响，我不由地后退几步，被吓得踉踉跄跄，站立不稳。

这时，月光不知从哪里冒了出来，它娇笑着说：“哎呀，你胆子真小，你去窗边看看，是什么把你吓成这样!”我被它嘲笑地很不服气，便回到床边。

我向外望去，只见那风再次发出一声巨响，“轰”地击在窗户上。几秒钟前，还是微风徐徐，而现在，风力竟然这么大!

我惊讶不已。只见那风愈来愈大，呼呼做响，吹的树木摇晃，飞沙走石，云飞雾散。再细看些，只见那漩涡的风愈转愈快，声音越来越响。风发出一串得意的狂笑，“呼”地扑向大地，顺手摇着树木，扔起石块，吹跑云层;再近些，只见它拼命撞击窗玻璃，勇猛强劲，无物可挡;只见它掀起落叶，打击着房屋。在呼呼声中，它又猛劲大吹，吹得我看不清那银白透亮的明月。它疯狂着，狂舞着。它愤怒着，怒吼着。

忽然，只听“呜—”地一声巨响，那正狂舞的风忽然变小;又是“呜—”地巨响，风力又变得巨大，越来越大。四周一片模糊，一片寂静，只有风的巨响。那风速度是光般的快，它狰狞着，疯狂着。它狂笑着，击打着。它愤怒着，怒吼着。它不时发出狂吼，那声音震耳欲聋。落叶飞着，砂石乱滚乱飞，树摇着，响着，那狂风狂吼着，整个世界陷入一片混沌之中……

这时，月光笑着对我说：“天快亮了，你去睡觉吧，我让这风赶在天亮前回去。”说罢，它和我告别，便“嗖”地从窗口溜了出去。它逐渐在风中充斥开。像是有魔力一般，风似乎发出一声叹息，“呜—”地消失了。

我躺在床上，但久久不能入睡。
