The Students Union is going to hold asports meeting next Saturday, April 24th.It will take place in the sports arenafrom 9 a m. until 5 p.m. All freshmen undergraduates are allowed to enter.Competition forms can be found in the entrance hall of the StudentsUnionbuilding. These must be returned by 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the latest. Inthe event of bad weather it will be held inside the sports centre.

Last month we had a sports meeting.Though the weather wasnt very fine that day,the students were all very excited and the whole school was alive.

This time,I was even more excited.Because I went in for the sports meeting and my item was high jump.I didnt want to get any place,I only wanted to enjoy the game because I knew I wasnt good at sports.

I have a white dog。 Its name is Bobo。 She is a female dog。She comes from Beijing，China。She wears white clothes and she has two big eyes and a small month。She often walks round and round at home。It has nothing to do。She likes eating ice—cream so much。So do I。When I eat ice—cream，she will look at the ice—cream carefully，So I will give her some to eat。

I think Bobo is the cutest dog in the world。

The four seasons are all my favourite,but I only show my special partiality for spring; that is because spring signifies more than the other three.

First of all,spring is the beginning of the year,in which,as the saying goes,the whole years work depends on a good start.Spring is very much in the air and all living things are revived in,so we can observe them growing up from this season.

Secondly,the word spring in English also means an elastic device,which regains its original shape after being compressed.That is to say,when spring comes,it can make us renew the heart and mind.

All in all,spring likes the source of a river and it is our lifespring.

一年四季都是我所喜欢的,但是唯有春季才让我情有独钟,这是它因为比其他季节含义更广,

首先,春天是一年之始,常言道一年之计在于春.春意盎然,万物复苏,因此可以从春季开始看到万物的成长过程.

其次,英语的spring 还有弹性设置之意,受挤压后仍能恢复原来的位置.这就是说,春天来临之际,它可以使我们的精神面貌焕然一新.

总而言之,春天像江河的源头,它是我们生命的源泉.

I’m neither interested in sports nor good at it. But except swimming. I can swim since I was a baby. My mother tells me that she let me swim in the water with a life-buoy when I was 20 days old. And then I can swim gradually. When I grow up, I like swimming very much. I swim all the year round. Swimming in summer makes me feel comfortable to lower my temperature. While winter swimming makes me feel excited and achievability. In general, swimming keeps me fit in both physical and mental. Whenever I feel upset, I would go swimming and then I would be full of energy and feel relax. Besides I believe it is due to swimming that I’m so thin. Who wants to lose weight, join me.
