A safe, clean and sustainable environment depends on more than lip service. Both the government and individuals have the responsibility to minimize direct impacts against the environment. All of us can start planting plants in our home, limiting the use of private cars and using public transportations. And the government should impose necessary standards upon the whole society. The beautiful and vigorous earth will come back soon.

妈妈常常教育我：保护环境，从我做起。

元旦那天，我和妈妈一起到广场上玩，看到有人在乱扔塑料瓶，路过的人都不理睬，还有人用脚踢来踢去，我本来也不想理，但妈妈教育我：“爱护环境，人人有责。”于是，我就从人群中走过去，把塑料瓶捡起来扔进了垃圾桶。一位老奶奶走过来，拍拍我，说了一句：“好样的！”我冲她笑了笑，开心的走开了。

妈妈告诉我，一个文明的城市是看不到垃圾的。她还告诉我，每天清洁工人从三四点起床，帮我们打扫城市的各个角落，清洁了我们的城市，我们挣开眼才会看到这么美的城市，所以以后一定要从我做起，从一个小学生做起，保护环境，这样我们的心灵也会越来越美丽！

保护环境，人人有责。我们应该从小做起，从生活的点点滴滴做起。为了地球母亲，让我们争做环境小卫士吧，心动不如行动，马上开始吧！

Today I saw an article called "everybody comes to the bend". The message is that the students will work together to protect the schools environmental health.

今天我看到一篇文章名为《大家都来弯弯腰》。内容是讲，号召同学们齐心保护学校环境卫生。

联想到我们学校的环境卫生也做的不够好。虽然许多同学都非常爱学校，每天可以看到许多同学在认真地为学校服务，有的捡起地上垃圾扔在垃圾桶，有的主动拿起扫帚扫地，还有的主动擦黑板......

可是还有些同学在保洁方面做得不够好，包括我自己，有时很随便地扔垃圾、纸屑，有的同学明明看到地上有纸屑，但他们当作看不见，这样很没“主人翁”的精神，也大大地影响了学校的面貌。希望同学们行动起来，开展“大家都来弯弯腰”的活动，人人争做学校的小主人，人人从我做起，使我们的校园环境既清洁，又美丽。让大家在优质的环境中读书，这样才会取得好成绩。
