Halloween is a very American holiday with roots in ancient European traditions. Over the centuries, several traditions began for protection including that of carving a gourd or pumpkin and placing it at your door with a candle glowing inside to scare the evil spirits away. The next two days were used as days to remember and honor ancestors very similar to China’s Tomb Sweeping Day.

My hometown Dalang is a famous “BasketballTown”. Everybody likes playing basketball here. I love playing basketball, too. It’s my favorite sport.
