After entering college, we found, to our surprise, that differences between high school life and college life are great. First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus. Spend one or two hours by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office, the clinic and classrooms. It is believed in common that beauty exists everywhere on the campus as long as you have an eye for it. Some people hold that natural scenes, especially at dawn, are the most beautiful on the campus while others believe that it is in the afternoon when the playgrounds are flooded with students taking part in sports.In my opinion, the best scene on the campus is during the rush hour when thousands of students rush towards the canteen.

At precisely the same time as the bell rings, some students dash from the chairs, rushing to the canteen. They set the prelude to the most attractive scene of the whole day.

Within a few minutes, all the classrooms become empty and everyone starts their journey for lunch, on foot or by bike. It gives people the impression that lunch is the most important thing in the world. Most of the students move at the same speed,with the exception of several excellent cyclists. They shuttle smoothly in the crowds just like fish swimming freely in the sea.

On the way to the canteen, everyone looks anxious. But once inside, a look of pride and triumph takes over. Sometimes,it bubbles up in my mind that the rush hour hustle and bustle is the epitome of the intense competition in real life. I have been studying in this school after I completed my primary education last year. This school is quite far away from my home town, so I have to stay in the hostel. I also have to learn how to be more independent in my study as well as taking care of myself. Fortunately, my teachers are very helpful and my classmates are very friendly. I have made a lot of friends and I have joined many activities such as table tennis and singing. These activities keep me occupied and help me to relax. However, I still miss home. I was so happy this morning when I heard from our form teacher that our parents would be allowed to visit us during the coming holiday. I shall study hard so that my parents will feel proud.

最近施密德特在耶鲁大学学报剩公开撰文批判中国的大学，把中国的大学教育贬的一无是处。他的言论，指出了中国教育的弊病，痛诉中国教授、学者，断言中国没有一位教育家。

其实，像施密德特对中国大学教育的看法，早在几十年前我国学者钱学森就曾说过：中国没有一所大学能够按照培养科学技术发明创造人才的模式，去办学，冒不出杰出的创新型人才，杨振宁先生却说：中国的大学对社会的贡献非常大，相比之下，中国大一学生比美国大一学生的基础更扎实，学习更专注，更努力。

两人的说法都有道理，只不过是观察问题的角度不同。看来，中国的教育方式和外国的教育方式有着明显的差异。这事因为，中国的教育方式是在特殊的历史背景下孕育的，是在新中国特定的道路上发展的。

施密德特说“大学应该用好奇心接受知识，根本无需回答他是否对公共事业有用，是否切合实际，是否具备社会价值等”，反之大学就会偏离“对知识的忠诚”。但我却要说：大学教育给了人们知识和算术，随之而来的却是道德的流失。这些知识即使用的再好，如果内心世界缺乏，缺少良知友爱，也毫无用处。不管学习怎么努力，也不会成为一个真正的人。驾驭知识的人如果站不住，学到的知识反而起坏的作用。正像学软件的变成了黑客，特警官兵成了匪徒。

中国有着悠长的深厚的文化，如今却把这些知识载入各式各样的书籍中来，将历史的长度浓缩为书本的厚度供我们学习。但当那海量的知识不能凭头脑有限的内存吸收时，我们应该知道，学习应当有取舍。首先应继承和发扬中华民族的美好品德，教育学生成为一个真正的人，其次才是让学生对知识的渴望和追求。这一点大学的教育是完全可以办到的。

综上所述，大学不仅是一个传道授课的地方，更是一个传授做人道理，在学业与道德两方面共同发展的地方。大学的生活，就是完善人格的过程。

I have dinner at about 6:30 p.m.. After dinner, I often go to the outside to play games with my friends. We live near to each other, so we always play together. Sometimes,we play table tennis or badminton. Sometimes, we ride on bicyles. Anyway, anything could be funny when we are together.I usually go home at 8:00 and then take a shower. After that, I spend sometime in study or watch TV. At 10:00p.m.,I go to sleep.

This lesson was something I learned after spending a summer alone in Italy with a family friend.

Spending small moments of time alone—sans phone, tablet, laptop, TV, and radio—allows one to really tune in. We need to ask ourselves things like: What is my body telling me today? How do I feel today?

There are all kinds of things we can do to enjoy our alone time, some of them very simple. 走进大学，混有书香味和泥土味迎面扑来。林荫道上，草坪上都不难看到读书人的背影他们在知识的海洋中翱翔，不知疲倦，他们将其当做精神的食粮。有些人也许认为这样的大学生活是单调乏味的，在音乐厅在咖啡馆中岂不是更好？然而这些人又怎么知道读书的乐趣，书的价值，忙碌的开心，奋斗的专注呢？大学的图书馆便应是学子们每天的必去之地吧！我认为真正的大学生活更应该提高学生的自主探究，学习和社会实践能力。而这一点对于一些懒惰的人来说永远也做不到。我想这也是造成了外国不认可大学生而认可高中生的缘故吧！

有些大学为提高开学率，便随意编造一个很高的就业率。通过让学生自己找公司随意的盖章声称已经找到工作，再将其上交给学校，来赢得家长的信任。这样的大学又怎能培养出国家需要的人才。

我想要的大学是可以是自己所学的运用于社会，在每次实践中不断发展自己，提高自己的能力，在实践中加强自己与他人的合作自主创新的能力，让每一天变得更加充实，让自己变得更加忙碌但更有目标。

一些人认为大学应该是最轻松的阶段，但我认为大学则更应该忙碌更充实更紧张更快乐，但不是像高中生活一样在题海中度过，而是针对自己所欠缺的知识进行补充，对自己所学的东西更加深刻的理解，为自己以后在工作生活奠定基础。我们最后的目标是就业施展自己的才华，然而却只有四年时间等待去准备，然后迎接社会的大火炉中磨砺锻炼自己，我们又怎能不去珍惜这四年好好把握。大学的生活应该是紧张、充实的。

大学的生活应是欢乐与泪水交织，喜悦与汗水、血水相伴的生活，大学可能使我们离开自己的家人、离开自己生活多年的家乡，半年的时间才能与家人团聚，我们肯定流下泪水远离他乡的我们也许会有许多困难去挑战，但需要我们。自己找方法解决，但事情总是有两面性的这样也使我们独立自主的能力不断提高。当我们有成绩的巨大飞跃，竞赛的胜利我们便会有胜利的喜悦，这就是汗水血水带给我们的回报，是奋斗带来的糖。

总之，大学是一个神圣的地方，是国家栋梁的仓库，也是一个纯洁的地方。大学的生活使我有一个质的的飞跃，由单纯走向成熟，又无知走向干练，告别依赖，告别娇弱，真真正正的去奋斗四年，去忙碌四年，去拼搏四年，赢得辉煌无悔青春。
