在寒假中，我看了许多许多书。其中，我觉得最有意义的是《三国演义》。

我觉得最有意思的一回是《草船借箭》，由于诸葛亮博学多才，让周瑜很嫉妒，所以周瑜让诸葛亮在三天之内做出十万支箭，如果做不出就要惩罚，诸葛亮胸有成竹的答应了。

他开了几十艘草船，叫士兵把稻草人插在船四周，然后把船开到曹操兵营旁，在那里敲锣打鼓，惊吓曹操，曹操让士兵不停射箭，而诸葛亮在船里喝茶。他看到一侧射满了箭，就反过来射另一侧，最后，轻而易举得向曹操借了十万余支箭，出色完成了任务。

看完了《三国演义》使我受益匪浅，不仅学到了很多知识，而且了解了历史，我希望通过自己的努力，成为对国家有用的人才。

自古红颜多薄命，美丽的容颜带来的却是无尽的哀愁与悲剧，玛格丽特就是这句话的真实写照。

当我读完这本书时，怀有无限的可惜，我为玛格丽特的红颜薄命可惜，为他们凄惨的爱情感到可惜，可当时社会的最密而感到可惜，有的时候我想，玛格丽特是否爱错人了，可真的爱错了吗？可如果不是阿尔芒她不会感到仅仅几月的甜蜜和对生活的无限希望，这虽然只是在上流社会一个小小的爱情故事，但折射出的却是整个巴黎当时糜烂的场景，这到底是人性的泯灭还是道德的沦落呢？

从小说中，我们不难看出，玛格丽特虽然过着糜烂的生活，但是内心是渴望爱情的，是圣洁的，美丽的皮囊又千千万万，但是有趣的灵魂却是万里挑一，而玛格丽特的灵魂是圣洁的，是唯一保持着初心的，但灵魂上的高尚怎能弥补物质上的需要，所以，玛格丽特终于走向了深渊，这难道不是千千万万人的生活剪影吗？保持初心，方守始终，我们才能有圣洁的灵魂，

而阿尔芒，依然爱着玛格丽特，但他依然不敢去面对现实，保护自己最爱的人，这难题不是大多数男人没有担当的表现吧？

而其它人，无论是阿尔芒的父亲，还是玛格丽特的情人都始终看不起所谓的妓女。

有的人外表是圣洁的，而灵魂却是肮脏的，但有的人外表虽然不是那么起眼，但是灵魂却是高雅、圣洁的。

《力与运动》英语读后感

I have got a lot of interesting scientific knowledge from the books of National Geographic Reading Expeditions, some of which are about life, physics. I really can’t help losing myself in the colorful pictures and clear words in the books. After reading the books, I have been considering a question: What if we lived without science? Great changes have taken place in the world with the help of science. In the past, life was nasty, brutish and short. It is hard to imagine how our forefathers could do without so many conveniences that modern science brings about. Back then, only a small group of people enjoyed the very few comforts. But the majority of people didn’t even have sufficient food, let along their privilege to be educated. Anyway, it is science that changes the world and makes people’s life better and better, although it also leads to some bad aspects at the same time.

From the discovery of the gravity to the first step on the moon, we human beings have experienced a long process of developing science. And now, this process is still continuing much faster. New organisms are already being engineered, and new genetically modified crops promise benefits from higher yields and less use of harmful chemicals and so on. A lot of examples are showing this point. In the future, changes are likely to be even much greater as science reaches out to shape life itself. Maybe one day, the possibility that life existed on Mars billions of years ago will be potentially one of the greatest discoveries of our time. It is the force of the competition, we human beings’ inquiring mind and initiative that bring about the non-stopped development of science. Therefore, it is difficult and impossible to prevent science from changing the world and our life as well.

At present, we are in two minds about science. On the one hand, we are enjoying the sweet life as a result of the evelopment of science, and expect it to continue. And we are showing our interests into some scientific expeditions, such as the astronomy, the alien civilization, etc. On the other hand, we are distrustful of it, due to the lack of understanding of science. Some people thus far are still very superstitious, and they would even believe in superstitions rather than believe in science.

Stephen Hawking, one of the most remarkable scientists in the world, once said, “In a democratic society, the public needs to have a basic understanding of the science, so that it can make informed decisions and not leave them in the hands of experts.” This has reminded me of Professor Alan G. MacDiarmid from America, the person who got the Nobel Prize for chemistry in the year of XX. In his lecture at Peking University this year, he put forward that science is people. He also expounded the importance of the basic science for the public. Evidently, every one of us does need science, or we can’t live without it.

Now that everyone needs science, why not take advantage of some means to give the public the right basic scientific knowledge? So when they face the problems such as acid rain, the greenhouse effect, nuclear weapons, environment destruction and some other problems, they can also make informed decisions on these subjects, just as what Hawking said. One aspect relies on what is taught in schools. But science is often taught in an uninteresting way and most students just learn it by rote to pass examinations. However, the final goal of learning science is not to pass examinations or to get a higher score; instead, we should try to make full use of it to change our world and life. While learning, we should try to ask more questions and we should have the courage of suspecting the knowledge in the books, as some of the scientific conclusions are likely to be corrected in the future. Who knows. So not only must we change our attitude towards science, but also the way of teaching and learning science.

Book Review: “Camille”

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

Last morning, when tiding my bookshelf, I took this book out of the shelf, and a dried flower flew away from the book. This book tells us a story of how a little girl Dorothy goes back to her hometown when she is in another strange city. Dorothy is a little girl who lived with her aunt and uncle in Kansas. The weather there is very bad, sometimes there was a cyclone. When a cyclone came, people stayed under their houses. But one day a cyclone blows Dorothy’s house, with Dorothy and her dog Toto in it, to a country called Oz. In that city there are four witches and a very famous wizard—the Wizard of Oz. And Dorothy’s house just fell on the bad Witch of the East and killed her, so the people there were very happy. Dorothy took the witch’s red shoes and wore them. She wanted to go home to Kansas but she doesn’t know how to get there. So the Witch of North told her to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard of Oz to help her. Then Dorothy met the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, but they need help too. The Scarecrow wanted some brains, the Tin Man wanted a heard, and the Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave. So they all take the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. On the way to the Emerald City they met some difficulties, but they solved them successfully. After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too. So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. But when the balloon is going to raise, Dorothy’s dog Toto jumped away to run after a cat, so Dorothy had to get Toto back and they were left in Oz. Then Dorothy and Toto went and find the Witch of the South and the witch told them they can just use the red shoes on Dorothy’s feet, they’re a pair of magic shoes, they could take anybody go back to their home as soon as she said‘East, west—home is the best!’After Dorothy said goodbye to her friends, she went back to her new home with her dog. Yes, no matter where we are, home is always the best place for us to rest or study. There are our parents here; there are also our favorite things here. At home, we feel safe, we feel comfortable, and we can relax ourselves.

From this story, we can see Dorothy is a brave and kind-hearted girl. She killed the two bad witches in Oz; she helped the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard and get what they want. She solved problems when they met difficulties. It’s really not easy for such a little girl.

We also learn that teamwork is important for us. When we are in trouble, we can ask our friends for help, and also, when our friends need help, we should go and help them. Just remember, more people, more power. It’s always better has more people to do a thing. Teamwork is really necessary in our lives.

And we can see the Scarecrow is absolutely cleaver, he understands things, he can think, he learn quickly, and he suggested Dorothy to cut down a tree to cross the river. The tin man has a kind heart, he laughs, he cries, he loves, he feels sorry for people. The Cowardly Lion is really brave, he did a lot of brave things, he carried the friends to go across the river, and he wanted to find some food for his friends and so on. We should learn from them too. When we are in trouble, we should calm down, watch the things around carefully, and try to think out of a way to solve it, just like the Scarecrow. We also should be brave as we are in danger, we can’t be afraid, we should face the difficulty and try to go through it, just like the Cowardly Lion. And we should learn to love people, to feel sorry for people, to make more friends, to get on well with everyone around us, just like the Tin Man.

Yes, we should learn how to get on with other people, we should help each other, we should be brave, we should love other people. If we can do like this, we can be a better girl (boy), more and more people will make friends with us, and more and more people will like us!

this book describes the nineteenth century, the mississippi river in a small town peoples lives, it can be said at the time the united states are a microcosm of social life. small characters tom sawyer and his junior partner and seriously childish words and deeds can give us deep insight. they hate priests pack of lies, and do not like boring school of education and decently adults, and children a rival show. they smart and lively , integrity and courage, especially in some major events happened when, in a battle between justice and evil, in the moment of crisis comes, they will not hesitate to come forward.

i think tom sawyer is a brave boy. he always gives his friends courage in danger and he tries his best to help other people.

Little Women

Before I read this book, I had watched a cartoon movie made by Japan. So I have a strong interest on it.

It all begins in the dead of winter; The Christmas Season. The coldest one of all, were the war has made fuel for heating very scarce. While her husband is off at war, Marmee is left alone to raise their four daughters: Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy.

On Christmas Eve, Marmee has just arrived home from passing out food to the less fortunate with a letter from her husband, the girls father. The all gather together around the fire to read the letter. Afterwards, the girls are teary eyed. Marmee kisses them and they are off to bed.

Jo is longing to become a writer. So, every night she stays up late writing the script for soap operas. As morning comes she is the last one awake. The table is set, and food prepared for their Christmas feast.

As dusk falls, the girls are all up in the attic acting out Jos play, which she reads from the local (fake) newspaper. As they are performing, their rich, next-door neighbors grandson watches from the window.

The 2 oldest girls: Jo and Meg, get ready to attend the Christmas Ball. While Jo is curling Megs hair, there is a strange smell to the air. Amy screams, Megs hair is being singed. They continue digging through the old clothes bin for a pair of white gloves.

During the course of the novel we see them grow in many ways -- physically, intellectually, and especially emotionally. One question which readers must ask themselves is whether the views the characters have on the coming of age process are shared by Alcott. 而这次是从一只花斑猫的到来，它的到来彻底打乱了模范学生艾可儿的生活，仿佛一夜之间她变成了一个自私又乖戾的“刺猬女孩”，伤害了每一个关心她的人。但是，多年的同窗之情使同学们没有抛弃她，大家在于小鱼老师的带领下，帮助艾可儿重新找回自我，又一次粉碎了黑暗领主的陰谋。在这本书中，我仿佛也看到了我乖戾的时候。只因为一点小事和同学大吵大闹；在家里也是如此，爸爸妈妈处处都依着我，“讨好”我。我想以后可不能再让他们这样费心了。书中说过“‘刺猬女孩’到底还是浑身带刺，是不会变成天使的”。可是，魔鬼也有天使般的笑容，我相信我会真正做到“老师的好帮手，同学的好伙伴，家人的好宝贝”。

This is a book worth reading of each and every one, as for some writers on the criticism of this book, I dont think the writer must be a genuine writer.Because he didnt realize that the book in the true sense of genius.This book is not only able to interpret from the literature.Why dont dream start, the true value of because he has not been found."Ordinary world" in the future a certain period of history would be like a dream of red mansions by many experts to study the book.The value of it is that it gives us a generation, is the very book that we need.

What we need is such a book!Not those who read the book without feeling after.Do you agree?

读完后，感觉余韵很深。

从生活的角度讲，我觉得每一个人都很平凡，平凡的渺小，很像站在大海面前的感觉。人的伟大或者一个人活着的意义，在于不断的追求，通过更高大的理想来体现人生价值的。一个安于现实的人，只能被生命体平凡的大海所淹没。只有努力过了才能有价值的体现。可是孙少平用自己的一生告诉我们，年少的我们或多或少的有自己的理想

希望 爱，或许你努力了，但也可能没有结果。我们就这样敬畏着这个平凡的世界。

感情上说，爱是平凡的世界最伟大的东东。既然它不分贵贱，不分权势，无私的给了我们每个人，就意味着我们可以追求我们的爱人，不分贵贱

可笑的我，在以前做试题的时候总认为选择题是最简单的一类题。我抽我俩个巴掌，自我检讨。

今天玩的电脑时间一长，便觉得没意思。所以就满怀期待的把四大名著之一——《红楼梦》里面的第一章节“黛玉进贾府”读了。内容也真有意思!

第一章大概讲的是这样的：贾府出生了一名男婴，应为出生嘴里就掉，所以命名为贾宝玉。贾宝玉家里面有好多人，又有钱。林海如就不一样了，林黛玉的父亲让黛玉到贾府，虽说不肯，但最终还是来到了贾府。

读了这一章节，我很奇怪。为什么贾宝玉出生时会叼着一块一块五彩缤纷的稀玉?我在书中寻找，没有答案。我想应该是他们前世有缘吧!因为我之前看过《红楼梦》的视频，说是前世黛玉救过宝玉，之后来世感谢。

忽而想到我自己，偶尔为赋新词强说愁，不太明白“欲语泪先流”的悲戚，也不太明白“无言独上西楼，月如钩，寂寞梧桐深院锁清秋”的痛彻心扉，总在想，哪载不动的愁苦是为哪般。还好，我愿意用心去读，去品，从伤感中寻找希望，在绝望中发现柳暗花明。悲苦的作品中的眼泪启示我清醒的爱着自己，爱着这个世界。

读完这本书，回归到自我，要明白我们所有的痛苦丧失，丧气失落都不孤单。社会让我们在群体中拥有了共同的认知感，结成集体获得认同。当我们感到痛苦，应该继续坚持，只有这样才能改变自己的一切。存在都是合理，不应该逃避残酷的现实与自己的不足，应在苦难中找到心的安宁。在低谷时我们该直面困难，找到内心深处完全安宁的地方。

“在人生的道路上，每个人都是孤独的旅客。”愿我们不要沉浸在彻底的痛苦与温柔的偏激中，捧一卷书，在阳光下，嘴角含笑，眼里有光!

书——人类的好朋友，我们从书中获得知识，受益匪浅。名人高尔基曾说过这样一句话：”书籍是人类进步的阶梯。“正因深知这些道理，所以我酷爱看书，家里摆满了各种各样的书籍：《基督山伯爵》、《红楼梦》、《三国演义》……床头柜上、桌子上、书架上到处都是书。

在这个寒假里，《父与子》这本书把我深深地吸引住了，我仔细阅读了这本书好几遍，就是看不够。在《父与子》中，那一对特征鲜明的父子形象深入人心：秃头大胡子父亲宽容而感性，小眼睛刺猬头的儿子调皮可爱。他们有时会误会对方，却又能时刻为彼此着想，他们热爱生活，天性乐观。

书中弥漫着真实、生动、幽默的父子情。其中《无药可救》这一篇故事就深深地打动了我：父亲与儿子在河边钓鱼，一位身穿绿衣服的管理员走了过来，用拐杖指着父子俩说：”这里不能钓鱼，现在我把你们俩押到河边的拘留所，好好反省一下。“在拘留所里，父子俩又通过窗户钓鱼。第二天早晨，当管理员打开 门，要把父子俩放走时，发现屋里都是鱼。谁看了都忍不住捧腹大笑。

虽然这本书只有寥寥几个字，但却让我懂得许多道理。

我看过许多书，如：《红楼梦》、《水浒传》、《三国演义》……其中我最喜欢的就属《西游记》了。西游记里讲述了孙悟空、沙悟净和猪八戒保护唐僧经历九九八十一难，最终取得真经。

《西游记》这本书里三打白骨精、三借芭蕉扇……这些小故事更是令人感到爱不释手。其中我最喜欢的小故事就是孙悟空大闹天宫。孙悟空去东海龙宫借兵器，把定海神针借走了。然后去地府划去众猴的名字，玉帝得知后将孙悟空骗去天宫做弼马温。孙悟空起初很是高兴，可后来得知弼马温仅是一个芝麻大的小官，一怒之下，回到花果山，竖起了齐天大圣的旗帜。玉帝大怒派李天王去缉拿孙悟空，最后大败而归。金星献策假意封孙悟空为齐天大圣，命他管理番桃园。一日孙悟空得知王母娘娘设了蟠桃宴，请了各路神仙，唯独没有请他，孙悟空大怒，去蟠桃宴上捣乱，而后回到花果山逍遥。玉帝暴怒，派兵捉拿孙悟空，孙悟空不幸被擒。被扔到太上老君的炼丹炉里，令人想不到的是他不但没被烧死还练就了一双火眼金睛。于是孙悟空大闹天宫，吓得各路神仙狼狈逃跑。

从这小故事里我能看出孙悟空很强大，他不但能去地府把众猴的名字划去，还能在炼丹炉里练出一双火眼金睛。还有他重情重义，为了众猴能长生不死，他去地府划名字;为了护送师傅取得真经，不管师傅如何待他，对待师傅都是恭恭敬敬。我很喜欢孙悟空，他有一些任性，但他明事理，敢爱敢恨。试问这样的人有谁会讨厌呢?
