在一开始知道要读《傅雷家书》时，我本是不情愿的。虽然在那时并没有接触过这本书，但一听书名就感觉内容很枯燥了。但在暑假这短暂的时光里(每个学生的心声)去接触它时，却发现现实跟幻想总是有很大的差距。

在读《傅雷家书》时，竟然总会在那朴素无华的语言中感到温馨。《傅雷家书》，不仅仅是傅雷一家的家书，更是天下家庭的家书。

在傅雷家书中福清和孩子的对话里，我可以看出父爱的伟大。

傅雷家书中可以看出，傅雷看待傅聪不仅是儿子更像是朋友，和他来往的书信写出了傅雷对傅聪的一次次困难的选择都做了引导。

其中有一篇说傅聪因为贝多芬第29首和第10首哪个更重要吵了一架，最后傅聪离家出走。

这里可以看出傅聪对艺术的追求，以至于和傅雷吵了一架，升至离家出走。

服从遇到困难是，弗雷也总是告诉他谁也是这样过的，让她心里好受一些可以渡过难关。所以在后来一场比赛里，虽然服从的天赋不如别人,但却因为弗雷德知道然他在比赛时不紧张得到了第三名的成绩。所以这场比赛的得奖可以看出傅雷的教育方式对傅聪的成长有恒大的帮助。

傅雷曾对傅聪说过，久算在谈恋爱最火热的时候他也认为，学术第一，艺术第一，真理第一，爱情第二。而如果是别人在这种时候坑定认为爱情第一。所以他对傅聪极其严格，但同时它也是爱他的。

傅雷对傅聪说行中的字不要太大，不然会被邮票该注意缴或少去移交。这个细节可以看出傅雷是个星系的人，而傅聪是个粗心大意的人。

这小小信封的事情，同时也告诉了我们应该做事仔细认真不粗心。傅雷也告诉傅聪钱不能乱花，做人也不能太吝啬，然他自己要好好理财，也提醒了我们因该要好好理财。还有就是交友很重要，自己要和朋友多联系，不然别人会觉得你冷漠，还有就是有些人的内心是热亲的但是在变面上他无法表达出来，所以需要长时间的接触才能发现这些，才能表达出来这些真的内心品质。有些人表面上很好但实际上是想利用你，这也同样需要一段时间才能发现，所以交友横重要，只有接触一段时间之后才了解他。

所以，傅雷家书不仅说了父爱很伟大也然我们明白了衡多道理，给了我们恒多的启发还有更多的发现要我们自己思考。

因为书中无可抗拒的悲剧结局，我躺下后翻来覆去睡不着。布恩迪亚家族百年兴衰的历史，每个人无可排解的焦灼与孤独，冥冥中无可抗拒的宿命都让我无法入眠。这是一部拉美历史的兴衰史，伴随着城镇的建立，科技的发展，殖民者的入侵，自然灾害的肆虐，原著民的反抗、挣扎、屈从乃至安于命运的安排。整部书充溢着灵异鬼魅的色彩、异于西方现代文明的情调。文字富有写实性，生动逼真的再现生活的同时，又不乏诗意、幽默与浪漫，许多段落读下来津津有味，忍俊不已。

今天整本书大概又过了一下，整理了一下布恩迪亚家族七代百年的谱系，对书中的情节愈发的明晰起来。这本书是我接触到的第一本拉美文学的书籍。可以说这是一个很高的起点。该书是1982年的诺贝尔文学奖得主。同时，该书也是中国第一次获得加西亚__马尔克斯的中国文版授权，据说是天价。2011年6月第一版。我很庆幸选在这个时候来读这本书。我记得以前也经常看到这本书的中文版，但是只知其名，不曾深入。原来以前的都是盗版啊。如果十年前读这本书，我未必能理解其中的精髓。我现在读一部作品，更喜欢作品中体现人性，揭示人性的东西。我相信，无论历史如何变迁，人性的东西总是最基本的最恒远的。加西亚__马尔克斯的高明之处在于他把人性置于广阔的时代变迁之中，举重若轻地把拉美的历史通过一个孤独的家族历史体现了出来，并警示世人，拉美将走向何方?

人们习惯于把《百年孤独》看作魔幻现实主义小说，而我更赞同马尔克斯自己所说的：“我写的都是现实。”我相信超自然自量的存在。而在越是落后的地区，灵魂与鬼神都是与人类同在的。譬如在广大的农村地区，我想极少人不相信人死后是有灵魂的，所以灵异的事件总是频频出现，你把它看做是迷信也罢，只是人的意识也好，它就是存在着，在现实中，或者在脑海里，反正总有一个所在。你可以把它看做魔幻，也可以把它当做现实。

这本书的译者是范晔，是我们的同龄人，70后。他的中国文学的功底也是相当好的，语言华美、幽默、又满是无可奈何的忧伤。我真以为自己在读中文原著呢。一个翻译者能够让读者有废寝忘食读下去的冲动，就已经是成功的了吧。哎，跟人家比起来，我们真是惭愧。人家年纪轻轻，翻译起来竟是大家手笔，我辈读此书，竟然还有不认识的汉字，惭愧惭愧啊。唯一困惑的是，根据网友的介绍，好象别的版本里出现的猪尾巴是个女婴，范晔的译本里却是个男婴，真想赶紧找到其它的版本看看，或者如果自己懂西班牙文，找来原文看看也好。

不知道是不是阅历增加了，我读此书，倒是没有太多时光错乱或者身在魔幻或者异国的感觉。相反，我倒觉得布恩迪亚家族的百年历史跟中国的历史有相近之处，难道是书中有东方的元素?还是因为同样曾经遭遇外敌的入侵?或者是经历了从落后到文明的苦难过程?包括书中人物的命运我在今日的农村依然可见。

这样一部作者倾其心血写了一年多的巨著，当然不是我三天就可以领略其精髓的。这也是我读书的习惯。对于喜爱的书，第一遍往往是要焚膏继晷通读，了解故事梗概，知道其结局，方可安心;第二遍则是理清人物脉络，了解故事发生的时代背景;之后则不知道是不再读或者是若干遍地咀嚼，取决于对作品的喜爱程度及作品对我的影响。

《三国演义》是中国历史上第一部历史演义小说，以描写东汉末年乱世群雄纷争为主，反映了魏、蜀、吴三个政治集团之间的军事斗争。大概分为黄巾之乱(黄巾之乱：指张角、张宝、张梁三兄弟号召天下百姓反汉灵帝。)、董卓之乱(董卓之乱：指董卓进京后实施暴政。)、群雄逐鹿、三国鼎立(三国鼎立：指魏、蜀、吴共分天下，形成犄角之势。)、三国归晋(三国归晋：指司马懿造反于魏，又灭蜀、吴两国，后司马懿长孙司马炎即位，国号晋。)等五个部分。在广阔的背景上，演了一幕幕波澜起伏、气势磅礴的战场画面，成功刻画了一千多个栩栩如生的人物形象，其中曹操、刘备、孙权、诸葛亮、周瑜、关羽、张飞等人物脍炙人口，不以敌我叙述方式对待各方的历史描述;对后世产生了极其深远的影响。

每次，我星期六写完作业的话，我就会问妈妈，能不能看电视，妈妈每次都叫我看了，可是，我从来都没有想过，要多看课外书要多学习更加的知识，也从来没想过要嗜书如命。看到像海伦·凯勒这样的看不见也听不着的都嗜书如命的，我惭愧了，于是我也慢慢地喜欢看书了。

疫情是一场没有硝烟的战争。无论是20世纪40年代的鸦片战争，还是21世纪初SARS病毒，甚至是当前的新型冠状病毒所引起的肺炎都是一场没有硝烟的战争。

对于防疫来说，奔赴在最前线的一定是那些白衣战士，他们瞒着家人，抗战在疫情第一线，舍小家为大家。在此刻，他们就是护国的战士。他们有的人甚至为了穿防护服方便，剪掉了自己心爱的长发，还有的剃了光头。戴着护目镜与口罩，脸上被勒出了印记，被捂出了汗也不管不顾。在网上看到的视频中，有一位穿着防疫服的医生，因长时间戴着护目镜，上面生成了大量的雾，导致电脑屏幕都看不清，他拿着吹风机在吹散那些雾。

这次疫情是一场灾难，但更是一场考验，一次体现我们社会主义优越性的机会。现在我们每个人少索取一点，多付出一点，都会为这场战役做出贡献。相信我们一定可以打赢这场没有硝烟的战争!

This summer holiday, I read a book called Andersen Fairy Tale. The book has many interesting stories. I cant forget one of the story of this book, ugly little duck. It is very ugly, who has been bullied. It was alone, no animals would play with it. In the cold winter , it almost froze to death in the forest. However, it finally frying by its own efforts. It turned into a beautiful swan. It is not an ugly duck anymore. This story tells us: in the face of injustice, it is only through their own efforts, as have happiness and joy.

今天，我读了《茶花女》。

无疑，这是一段感人肺腑的，悲壮凄惨的，让人同情的，美好的爱情，尤其在十九世纪中期资产阶级社会早期世态炎凉中，赤裸裸金钱关系的那个社会，更让人赞叹不已。

没有华丽的文字，但那真挚的感情对白却让每一个有过恋爱经历的人身临其境，渐渐地把主人公与自己融为一体，能够设身处地地为他们的恋爱着想，为他们的欢乐而轻松，为他们的悲剧而沉重。

玛格丽特，一个在巴黎混迹与烟花柳巷的风尘女子，一个身染重病沉疴的女子，一个过惯了穷奢极侈生活的女子，似乎是不应该有真正的爱情的。他似乎只应该有商业的感情，而不应该从中解脱出来，去收获真正的爱情，灵魂上的慰藉。而一旦获得，似乎就预示着一个悲剧的开始。她们这样的人平时只能沉醉在纸迷金醉的物质生活中，尽力掩饰和逃避真情的流露，而一旦确定了真爱归宿，便会毅然去追寻争取。玛格丽特就是这样的女子。

阿尔芒，似乎十分喜欢玛格丽特。实际上，他也确实十分爱着那个女人。可是他那多疑的性格(或许每个男人都具有)，却让他实际上造成了这场悲剧。他貌似很坚定地追求着这段爱情，却实际上很软弱。他未能最终说服和反抗父亲的逼迫，尽管他做了努力。尤其是当玛格丽特离开他后，做了N伯爵的情人后，他那糊涂的判断力和可耻的侮辱行为，让我恨不能把他撕下来痛扁一顿。他自始至终没有拿出果断的勇气来追求他们的幸福。他没有在玛格丽特放弃时候强迫她重拾起爱情的信心，而这种强迫我可以肯定玛格丽特是很愿意接受的。

这段爱情自始至终就没有一个坚实的经济基础，似乎注定了他们的悲剧。但我认为这并不是主要原因，因为玛格丽特最后已经放弃那每年十多万法郎的生活，而跟随阿尔芒去过那田园的平民的生活。而此时，经济已不再是问题了。还是阿尔芒不果断地去强迫她，离开巴黎，去另外一个环境去忘记过去。而实际上，他有很多机会可以这样做。

这让我想起了杜十娘的悲剧，尽管阿尔芒好过千百倍那个秀才。但结果无疑是可悲的，男主人公是这悲剧的原因之一。

不知为什么，我总有一股同情这种人的情怀。今晚上，当我正在为阿尔芒气愤的时候，有个同学说：换了你也会这样做，因为她是妓女。我立刻反驳他，我决定这并不是原因，如果他们是真心相爱的。

我深深为茶花女而伤心悲哀，我恨不能立刻飞到她们的时代去保护她们，希望她们能过的好。

On Sister Carrie Carrie was such an ordinary rural girl at the beginning of the story. Sitting on the seat of a bus she couldn’t help feeling exciting at the sight of the metropolis’ spectacle. She was impressed deeply by large crowd on the avenue the spacious square or tall buildings. Far more different from other heroines Carrie was not a plain pure angel like Snow-white nor was she brave enough to be a heroine of revolutionist or even a reformer nor was she so clever as to be a successful career woman who start from scratch.

What attracted her most after her entering this huge metropolis was the incredible fineries fashion shoes smart handbags displaying in the shop windows the jewellerys shining brightly behind the glass. She dreamed that one day she could wear all of these jogging gracefully into the most luxurious hotel with focused sights of admiration. And this was not merely a dream. Because she had large eyes which can earn others’ sympathy even love. She had wonderful figure which can win others’ hearts. However anything she got anywhere she reached had not come from her ambition.

Things happened and then she accepted. That’s what she had just done ? just to accept willingly from the bottom of her heart. She was not at all an evil woman who would give anything for the fortune or fame. However she would give uo something for a better life when her instinct defeated her intellect.

That was Carrie a girl had her own desire a human being just like many others in the realistic world.There’s one sentence written in chapter VIII:” When this jangle of free-will instinct shall have been adjusted when perfect understanding has given the former the power to replace the latter entirely man will no longer vary.” However how many people can go that further.

我是在一个闲暇的下午，将《麦田里的守望者》看完的。

初读时大为不解，它颠覆了我对名著和经典的印象。在我想来，这样一部名盛不衰的作品，这样一本描写青少年生活的经典，大概写的是那些朦胧或者是悲伤的故事吧。而语言即便不是字字珠玑，也是优美动人的吧。

然而，它却直白，粗俗。无论是写撒谎，约会，退学，甚至打架。都是用平白而直接的方式陈述。哪怕是写悲伤，也只是一句：我哭了。

曾经说自己不喜欢新生代的那些作家，及小说中出现的无休止的脏话(尽管此前疯狂得热爱韩寒)，而现在，我却读它。

因为它曾畅销美国，作者塞格林则被称作“隐者”，于是我还是怀着好奇心将它看完。

一个倒戴红色鸭嘴帽的16岁美国中学生霍尔顿，他曾四次被勒令退学，好一个典型!其实，他并非无恶不作的，只是有些愤世疾俗，有些挣扎，有些茫然而不知所措的少年。他憎恨虚伪于是排斥学校，却又无法接受愚蠢的人们和肮脏的社会。他厌恶所有。

天地之大，他却无法容身。他离家出走，醉生梦死在纽约街头，游荡在歌厅舞厅，做着本不属于这个年龄的事情。为了麻醉自己，试图逃离，最终只是回归本分。

你问他想做写什么吧，他说：有这么一群孩子，他们玩耍在那么一大片麦田里，附近却没有一个大人——除了我。而我就守在悬崖边，我的任务是站在那守望，如果有哪个孩子向这边奔来，我就立刻拦住他们，我是说他们都在奔跑，也不知道往哪跑。我就干这样的事，只想做个麦田里的守望着。

我发现他是善良的，他的想法很简单。然而，我觉得他说的孩子是否是指他呢，这么个瞬间使我觉得他就是那个即将奔向悬崖的孩子。

如果真有那么一天，站在悬崖边守望的，又是谁呢?

书中这个典型的霍尔顿，让我觉得似曾相识，和我们正好相仿。有时彷徨，有时不知所措，经常会问这样的问题：念书是为了什么?有人失败，有人成功，有人努力却得不到回报。于是开始抱怨，愤恨一切。

于是有人说：他们堕落了!

他们回答：不是不想努力，曾经也是那么有希望，而当希望落空，就什么也没有了。最终究竟为了什么。

记得初三，老师对我们说：不允许你们去想读书为了什么，只要去做，就不必问为什么，这样虚无的问题只会使人更加空虚。如果觉得抓住一根唯一的救命稻草都觉得是种束缚，那么可以选择另一种更惨烈的收尾：下坠。

于是他对我们说：如果拯救不了别人，那么先救自己。如果我们连独善其身的能力也没有，谈何去帮助别人?

也因此，我更喜欢霍尔顿的妹妹，她天真无邪，优秀美丽，她对哥哥真挚的爱，使拿出自己紧有的几块钱做为哥哥去西部旅费。在她身上我看到了光，一种萌动希望之光。那样的洁净，似乎世界上一切污染都与她无关。在那样一个肮脏的社会，她却一直保持一个纯洁，善良的心灵。她的童心使她肯去坐破旧的旋转木马，回忆儿时和哥哥们在一起的欢笑，提着行装想要和哥哥一起走。

无法推测作者对于这样一个人物的安排有什么目的。只是让我不禁想起《希特勒的名单》中那个黑白画面中出现的唯一一簇色彩——穿着红色衣服的女孩。真是有异曲同工之妙呢。

于是，时常幻想着这样的画面：

在那金黄色的麦田中，我们尽情地狂奔，仿佛是田野中的精灵，创造着属于我们的梦。而我们很安全，悬崖边有人守望。

Recently,I have just finished reading a famous novel written by Margaret mitchellGone with the Wind，which is one of the most popular works among American novels.It took the auther about 10 years to finish this great novel,the only novel in her life.

The story happened during the Civil War eve.Scarlett O"Hara,a 16-year-old girl,who was living in Tala manor in Georgia,was loving her neighbor Ashley Wilkes.However,after the war have broken out, Ashley Wilkes married his yonger cousin Melanie. Scarlett was so angry that she decided to marry a man she didn’t really love---- Charles Hamilton.Not long after that, Charles Hamilton joined the Army and died of illness in the war.So Scarlett had to act as a widow.Afterwards,at a donating dance party,Scarlett is acquainted with a captain named Rhett Butler. Then the flames of war approached Atlanta.Everyone was busy leaving away from the war.Scarlett managed to escape from Atlanta with the help of captain Rhett.Having come back to Tala manor,Scarlett made up her mind to rally her homeland at any cost when she saw that the former manor had been ruined.Later,her second husband died in the fight,she was a widow again.Durling that time, Rhett had been loving Scarlett sincerely and warmly.Seeing that Rhett could help her rally the manor,Scarlett married him.Although Rhett had similar characteristic attracting her,Scarlett still loved Ashley.Later,their only daughter died accidently,Rhett left Scarlett sorrowly.And then Scarlett realized that Rhett was the only one who could fall in love with her.

The novel takes the US Civil War as the background.It takes Scarlett’s individual activity as the thread.The book show us a tragic love story .A couple who could have a perfect future,but finnally go in opposite direction.As a matter of fact,their charactristics have decided their tragic result inevitably.We feel sorry about the end because we are looking forward to a perfect end,just like Scarlett and Rhett.In fact,ferfect is always a excessive damand.

I affirm Rhett.He brings excitement to Scarlett’s life and encourages her impulse to change and succeed.Like Scarlett,he goes after what he wants and refuses to take ‘no’ for an answer.He is humorous,intelligent and cynical with a hint of treason.He is really a respectable man.I think he finnally left because of love .Otherwise,he couldn’t have gone without hesitation.

Ashley Wilkes is the foil to Rhett’s dark, realistic opportunism.If there was no Civil War,he is surely a nobility of grace and charm.But history cannot be changed.He bocame a victim of the war.His era was gone with the defeat of the war.At the same time,we cannot deny the fact that he had a chear understanding about reality,which just contribute to his tragedy.

In this book,what I appreciate most is not Melanie’skindness or Rheet’s dedication and patience,but Scarlett’s courage to throw her long-standing morality and tradition whe faced with diffiiculties.At the beginning of the war,she didn’t care about this.In her world are endless dinner parties and dance parties.In her body are her father’s brave Irish blood and her mother’s noble French pure blood.She had a vast farm as her home.She had hundreds of slaves.This is Scarlett.,a member of noblity,proud and different.However,the war changed everything.Her mother died of illness.Her father become silent and the farm was nearly deserted.Even food became a big problem.All the pressure was put on Scarlett’s shoulder.She must feed a family of 9 people in it.What a big difference of level.If all this happened to someone else,he or she may choose to escape.On the contrary,Scarlett choose to face the change of life bravely.How can we not admire her courage of to change herself.Life is like a mountain.The road can’t be completely smooth.When we fall down from the peak,we may get hert ,we may get disappointed,we may feel despair.But if you want to survive,you must stand up to face it.

It is obvious that 《Gone with the wind》 is really a good book,even if a long time has passed away,it is still suitable for today’s society.It is of great importance to change ourselves,change our value even our thoughts when our life chages.

On the other hand,I think there is no real perfect in the world.Everybody has his shortcomings.It is necessary for us to learn to forgive others’ faults.If we keep good-tempered,Ibelieve there will be more comedy and less tragedy.

Jane Eyre， is a poor but aspiring， small in body but huge in soul， obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book， after having a long journey of the spirit， Jane Eyre， a marvelous figure， has left us so much to recall and to think:

We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes， for someone who despised her for her ordinariness， and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.

We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a panion with the goodness. But still， a virtuous person should promote the goodness on one side and must check the badness on the other side.

We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion， everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance， but all the human being are equal in personality.

We also remember her striving for life， her toughness and her confidence…

When we think of this girl， what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply， but a huge charm of her ersonality.

Actually， she wasn’t pretty， and of course， the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her， even her own aunt felt disgusted with it. And some others even thought that she was easy to look down on and to tease， so when Miss Ingram met Jane Eyre， she seemed quite contemptuous， for that she was obviously much more prettier than ‘the plain and ugly governess’. But as the little governess had said: ‘Do you think， because I am poor， obscure， plain， and little， I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong!’ This is the idea of equality in Jane Eyre’s mind. God hadn’t given her beauty and wealth， but instead， God gave her a kind mind and a thinking brain. Her idea of equality and self-respect impress us so much and let us feel the power inside her body.

In my mind， though a person’s beauty on the face can make others once feel that one is attractive and charming， if his or her mind isn’t the same beautiful as the appearance， such as beauty cannot last for， when others find that the beauty which had charmed them was only a falsity， it’s not true， they will like the person no more. For a long time， only a person’s GREat virtue， a noble soul， a beautiful heart can be called as AN EVERLASTING BEAUTY， just as Kahill Gibran has said， that ‘Beauty is a heart enflamed and a soul enchanted’. I can feel that how beauty really is， as we are all fleshly men， so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleness or humbleness， but fleshly men， so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleness or humbleness， but as there are great differences in our souls， and from that， we can know that whether a man is noble or ordinary， and even obscure， that is， whether he is beautiful or not.

Her story makes us thinking about life and we learn much from her experience， at least， that is a fresh new recognition of the real beauty.

There was a strange stillness. The birds, for examplewhere had they gone? The feeding stations in the backyards were deserted. The few birds seen anywhere were moribund; they trembled violently and could not fly. It was spring without voices. On the farms the hens brooded, but no chicks hatched. The roadsides, once so attractive, were now lined with browned and withered vegetation as though swept by fire. These, too, were silent, deserted by all living things. Even the streams were now lifeless.

This is a strange scene described by Rachel Carson, who is regarded as the mother of modern environmental protection movement。 Silent Spring is her representative work which lighted the fire of environmental protection in America and the whole world. Before 1960s, no books or magazines talked about things like environment and ecosystem. Such a phenomenon means that environmental protection had not come to people’s mind and the social consciousness. Indeed, the main opinion in human society from the very past about nature is to set war against or conquer it. In fact, many of human’s progresses are made on the base of such opinion. Rachel Carson was the first person who doubted the correctness of the belief and brought the topic under focus.

In Silent Spring, Carson described a miserable village which was dying under the using of DDT. The village used to be prosperous and beautiful. In spring, white clouds of bloom drifted above the green fields. In autumn, oak and maple and birch set up a blaze of color that flamed and flickered across a backdrop of pines. Then foxed barked in the hills and deer silently crossed the fields, half hidden in the mists of the fall mornings. She thought that with the using of variety kinds of pesticide, especially DDTs, the village suffered enormous and irreversible damage and gradually withered and died. Soon it became just like the one described in the beginning. From her fine and smooth describing, I can even feel the groan of the town. Moreover Carson also sharply pointed out that the deep-seated cause for the environmental problem is the human’s arrogance and ignorance. So she asked people to correct the attitude toward the nature and reconsidered the developing path of human being.

Carson thought that because of the antibody and differentiation, pesticides would never be completely useful. On the contrary, those more and more poisonous medicines, because of the enrichment effect, would accumulate in humans’ body. It’s quite sarcastic that we hurt ourselves much badly while hurting the others. Then she analyzed many poisonous components in pesticides. Those are all unfamiliar names except DDT, such as chlordane, chloronaphthalene, compound 497, etc.

Those things really make me feel scared. We are on the top of the food chain, and it is such a perfect and fragile system. We human beings are just part of it and we depend on all of the creatures who stay on the lower positions. It is so hard and ridiculous to try to match the nature. Only in the state does man have a rational existence. Every species have their value to be on this world. Then no one knows what would happened if we force them to disappear. For example, let’s imagine the food chain as a meticulously made castle built by billions of little blocks and we human beings are the top one. There might be several tiny blocks on the bottom which you think is useless and dispensable. But what would happen if we take them away? Perhaps nothing happened, and perhaps the whole castle ruined.

Destruction is always much easier than recovery, not counting those incurable ones. Humans always think that we are much cleverer than the other animals, so we become more and more conceited and firmly believe that we are the king. We didn’t see that the nature is so magical and knows how to revenge. The pay back is much more violent and cruel. We need balance and order. The nature has its own rule. Our aim is to use it and live in harmony with it. The ecosystem is so delicate that even a tiny disturbance could lead an unexpected consequence, just like the butterfly effect.

At the last chapter, some scientists came up with other ways to solve the pest problem----biotic control. There is now a bly running tide of interest in chemical sterility. Those sterile insects are released and mate the normal ones so that they won’t have any larva and get extinct gradually. This solution seems to be reasonable and helpful, but thinking about it carefully, you’ll find that it is just another way to ruin the food chain castle. Not only spring, but also summer and autumn would be still and silent in the future.

It is lucky that Rachel still kept her mind clear. She didn’t agree with the way of conquering the nature. At the very end of the book, she wrote, The ‘control of nature’ is a phrase conceived in arrogance, born of the Neanderthal age of biology and philosophy, when it was supposed that nature exists for the convenience of man. This sentence can be regarded as the book’s theme topic which is widely quoted in all kinds of articles about environmental protection.

Carson is a great woman and fighter. When writing the book, she was suffering from huge pain of the operation for mammary cancer. After the book was published, the widely affect brought her not honor and fortune, but fierce attack from the chemical estate. She died only one year after the book’s publishing. On the spring of 1964, the great woman passed away, but Silent Spring made her voice never silent.

The 20st century was a time that technology and economy developed rapidly, especially the 40 years after Silent Spring was published. But every spring, when flowers bloom, trees sprout, and water begins to flow, we used to recall a woman and her enduring works. We opened the window, and wonder if the spring is silent today, if it will be silent tomorrow.

This story’s name is “The little prince”。 As it known to all， we will encounter a lot of difficulties， even hardships. Different people may have different ways to deal with them. After reading The Little Princess， I am deeply impressed by Sara’s way to deal with difficulties. The Little Princess was written by Frances Hodgson Burnett， a famous novelist and dramatist. Sara， the heroine of the novel， was born in a rich family. In order to get a better education， her father took her from India to London so that she could go to the best school. Because Sara was kind-hearted， generous and most of all—rich， she was loved by everyone. All went well until her father died in an accident. Everything changed pletely. She didn’t understand why the teachers and classmates treated her so badly. Even the principal who used to be fond of her， made her work 16 hours a day. Sara’s miserable life began.When I finished reading the book， I was shocked by what the unimaginable pain Sara had suffered after her fa爱国名言

ther’s death. She used to be a happy， worriless， and rich Princess， but now she was a lonely and poor servant. She had to work very hard without any rest but only had little food. Besides she had to endure the unfriendly and even rude ways that her classmates treated her. All teachers and students in the school looked down upon her. The most important fact is that Sara had lost the love and care of her parents.What a mighty pain! If you were Sara， could you stand such pain? Needless to say， an 11 years old girl， even if it were an adult， he might not put up with it. But to my surprise， Sara faced it bravely.

Despite of the torture of the principal and all those pressures above， she still was optimistic towards life. By reading this novel， I felt inspired and think much. When we meet such difficulties， what should we do? Some people always plain that the fate is unfair to them. Some people can’t sustain the hardships and choose to give up. Few of them even try to mit  because they lack the courage to overe it. Compared with Sara—an eleven years old girl who can treat the pressure of life with optimistic spirit， these people’s performances are sounded so lamentable. Why can’t they make it?However， what impress me most are her characteristics and the thought of her “being a real princess.” This “real princess” does not mean luxury palaces， beautiful clothes and the apple of the others’ eyes， but being kind， generous and having good manners. It is unnecessary for “a real princess” to be strong in body， but she must be strong in will. Sara is a real princess in my heart all the time， whether she was rich and wore beautiful clothes in the classroom or she was cold and hungry in the attic， just because she had the good characters and kind heart. The story went on. Fortunately， a friend of Sara’s father found her and told her that her father left a great sum of money to her. I pray and believe that every good person in the world deserve a good result， and of course， we are the same.

This book is how the four daughters of Mrs. March home from young girl grow into a womans life, describes the characters of rich inner world.

The book four sisters let me feel the different character and hobby, lis most of them are "Joe", her natural disposition is lively, not only to take care, and toughness of the relentless pursuit of life, which reflects her sentimental inner thoughts and the surface of the active performance of the contrast.

Among them, my favorite character is beth, because she very love for life, approachable, season in the critically ill still insist on writing, showed her unremitting efforts to the pursuit of a better life.

这本书让我感受到了四姐妹不同的性格与爱好，其中着墨最多的是“乔”，她生性活泼，不但对大家细心照顾，而且有着对生活不懈追求的韧性，从而体现出她那多愁善感的内心思想与活泼好动的表面表现的极大反差。

其中，我最喜欢的人物是贝思，因为她对生活十分热爱、平易近人，在病危之季仍坚持写作，表现了她不懈努力地追求美好生活。

"Millions of pounds" is a very interesting short stories, after reading the "million pounds", I have a lot of thoughts.

"Millions of pounds" is primarily concerned with the two brothers made a "what happens if a poor man get millions of pounds to do" the bet. And they gave it to a poor and honest man a one million pound note.

People are very surprised to the rich man, improve his position. He has a beautiful wife, living a happy life.

My feeling is, the people of the past look down upon the poor, feel oneself what benefits to help the poor all have no, also for the poor is very cold. But the sight of a rich man to him very kind and enthusiasm. This is showed in the past people are money, rich people have status, respectable people. But no money, no status, others look down on them. I think this kind of situation is very bad, not only rich people can be respected, everyone has the right to get respect from others. At the same time, is also a happy thing to help the poor. When you get to the best of your ability to help the others, inside there will be a kind of unspeakable joy and happy. 《百万英镑》主要讲的是两兄弟打了一个“如果一个穷人得到百万英镑会怎样做”的赌。他们就给了一个贫穷而诚实的人一张一百万英镑的钞票。

人们对这个一夜暴富的人很惊讶，不断提高他的地位。他还有了一个美丽的妻子，过着幸福的生活。

我的感想是，过去的人们看不起穷人，觉得帮助穷人自己什么好处都没有，还对穷人很冷淡。可是一见到有钱人就对他很客气、热情。这种情况就表现出了过去的人们都是金钱至上，有钱的人就有地位，受人们尊重。可是没钱的人就没有地位，别人也看不起他们。我觉得这种情况是非常不好的，不是只有有钱的人能受到尊重，每个人都有权利得到别人的尊重。同时，帮助穷人也是快乐的事。当你尽自己的能力帮助了别人后，内心会有一种说不出的喜悦和开心。我觉得人们还是应该帮助穷人。另外，我还觉得不应该金钱至上，以貌取人。金钱虽然很重要，但并不是万能的!
