我印象最深的是一篇《蚊子与狮子》，这篇寓言描写了蚊子认为它能战胜狮子，想和狮子比赛，它飞到狮子面前，专叮它没有毛的地方，狮子想抓蚊子，可蚊子太小怎么也抓不到，狮子只好认输了。当蚊子吹着喇叭，唱着凯歌，得意扬扬飞走的时候，却不小心粘到了蜘蛛网上，被蜘蛛给抓住了，成了蜘蛛口中的美餐。这则寓言告诉我们骄傲不会有好下场，虽然打败了强大的对手，但最终也会被弱小打败。

Book Review: “Camille”

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body.
