However, I would argue that these benefits are outweighed by the drawbacks. This type of addiction can have effects ranging from lack of sleep to problems at school, when homework is sacrificed for a few more hours on the computer or console. The rise in obesity in recent years has also been linked in part to the sedentary lifestyle and lack of exercise that often accompany gaming addiction.

In conclusion, it seems to me that the potential dangers of video games are more significant than the possible benefits.

网游使我的成绩一落千丈，我痛恨它，更痛恨我自己。我为什么当初会尝试这个错误的试验，我为什么会对自己的自制力这么肯定，我为什么会抵制不了这种低级的诱惑。在被诱惑的时候，我仿佛变成了网游手中的木偶，我们自认为操纵着网游中的角色，其实真正被控制的，是我们自己，而且是被我们自认为操纵的网游所操纵！

网游把我在虚拟世界中囚禁了整整三年，但是我现在觉悟了，我重新苏醒过来了。这说明，我战胜了网游这个诱惑，我成功了。现在退出完全来得及，希望大家和我一样，早早退出的好，否则就会成为最终结局的主角，到那时再退出，就真的来不及了。退出的过程是相当难受的，但是一旦退出来，你就会发现你是多么地伟大，你会为你感到骄傲和自豪！

由此可见，网络游戏的威力是多么的可怕。能够使人像吸毒一样的上瘾，玩到无法自拔，只专注于游戏的世界，而忽略了这世上的人事物。还能让人的课业逐渐退步。人家说眼睛是灵魂之窗，但过度的的待在计算机前，是很容易让人近视的，也会让健康受损。但是玩在线游戏也不一定全然都是一件坏事，不但可以打发一些时间，也能替自己的生活增添一些色彩纾解一些压力。重要的是，你还能结交一些新朋友。如果是外国的朋友，或许还能学习到一些课本所没有的知识呢!
