人们总是抱怨时间是有限的,他们想要有更多的时间做更多的事情,但时间阻碍了他们。实际上,我曾经觉得我的时间很少而其他人有很多时间去做他们想做的事情。我开始思量自己,我知道我总是把时间浪费在玩电脑游戏,所以我决定不玩电脑游戏。

正月初一那天，天气晴朗，万里无云，我和爸爸，妈妈，小表叔一起去公园划船。到了公园，人真多呀!连划船都要排成长长的队伍，爸爸去买了船票，我们在那里排队等了一个多小时，好不容易才等到了一个空船，我们赶快上了船。

我和小表叔坐在船的最前面，爸爸妈妈坐在后面。我和小表叔轮着掌握方向盘，爸爸妈妈在后面蹬着划船。我们在水里转来转去，玩的高兴极了。正在高兴时，忽然看见我们的船正直直往正前方的一条手划船上撞去，把划船的叔叔阿姨吓的赶紧转弯，把我们俩笑的肚子疼。妈妈说我没掌握好方向便让小表叔掌握方向，我想抵赖，于是就说：“还没到时间呢!”小表叔好象知道我在骗他，就说：“哥，时间是不是到了。”我爸爸说：“时间到了，浩悦让你小表叔来掌握方向。”我极不情愿的让给了他。也不知道今天是怎么了，总有船和我们相撞，刚才我们撞人家的船，现在又有人家的船来撞我们，我们的船劲大，把它撞的转了个弯，又把我和小表叔乐得哈哈大笑。又有一条汽船朝我们驶过来了，爸爸叫我们赶快转弯，我们立刻就转弯躲了过去。

我们看到岸上有人在跳舞便把船划了过去看，看的正美时，岸上有人说我们的船时间到了，叫我们停船靠岸，我们很快把船划了过去，上了岸便回家了。

那天我和小表叔玩的太开心啦!既划了船又知道怎样掌握船的方向，这事就是我寒假里最有趣的一件事。

The Mid-Autumn Day

August 15th in Chinese Lunar Calendar is the Mid-Autumn Day. It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China.

On that day people usually go back home to have family reunion . Each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner. The most popular food is moon cakes. They are round and look like the moon.

The moon is the brightest this night. People eat the delicious food while they are enjoying a beautiful full moon in their yard. At this time, some old people would like to tell many past events and tell the children a story about the rabbit on the moon . The children really believe that there is a rabbit on the moon. They hope to go to the moon and have a look one day.

中秋节

农历八月十五日是中秋节，在中国它是最重要的传统节日之一。

在那一天，人们通常回家与家人团聚，一家人聚在一起饱餐一顿。最流行的食品是月饼，它们圆圆的就像月亮。

中秋节晚上的月亮特别地圆。人们都在自家的院子里一边赏月一边吃着可口的月饼。这个时候 ，一些老人会讲述许多古老的故事，如月亮上的玉兔，孩子们信以为真，他们真想有一天登上月球看个究竟。

中秋是个美好的节日啊!

together and share their lives or planes.Some will play games or hang out to

have some fun.

On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone

they meet.Children can get lucky money from relatives.In the following days, we

will visit relative’s home and bring New Year’s wishes to them.In short, it’s a

time for family gathering and all of us enjoy it.

在我国，一年有很多节日，在这些节日中，我最喜欢春节。这不仅因为它是一年中最大的节日，更因为它是新一年的开始，给人们带来新的希望，也因为它是亲朋好友团聚的时刻。不管身在何方，人们总会在春节前回到家里准备过节。

通常，我们会在除夕夜吃一顿丰盛的晚餐，之后家人团座一起，分享一年以来的生活以及新年计划。有的人则会玩游戏或者出去玩。大年初一，人们通常会早起，会与见到的人说吉祥话。孩子们会得到压岁钱。在接下来的几天里，人们会带上新年祝福互相串门拜年。总之，春节是一个欢聚一堂、供人享乐的日子。

Summertime is the best time of the year. There is no school for months and

I get to do what I want. With no tests and no homework, Im as free as a

I do many things during the summer vacation. I relax by reading books and

watching TV. I also hang out with my friends or travel with my family. However,

or English. Summer vacation flies by fast, so its important to do as much as

you can.

In this fast-paced modern society, life can be sometimes very stressful. One may get overwhelmed by whats going on. There may be a feeling of helplessness and the worlds spinning out of control. Its easy to lose hope. However, hope is something can be created with an optimistic state of mind.Optimism helps to increase hope for several reasons. To begin with, hope is something appears from our inside world. All of us have capacity to generate hope. This capacity is closely related to optimism. Optimism help us overcome fear, supporting us with great courage and confidence to overcome any difficulties. In return, it allows us to hold on to hope. Whatever we do or whatever is done to us, it is always constructive to adopt an optimistic attitude. As the saying goes, smile and the world smiles with you, weep and you weep alone. If you let yourself down, no one can pull you out and the situation could only go from bad to worse. But as long as you have an optimistic state of mind, you can have the situation under your control and therefore be more hopeful. Last but not least, God help those who help themselves. We should first be optimistic and hopeful can we help ourselves. And then you can get help from others. Once you get through the bad situation, hope will eventually be increased.
