First, I wanted to spend some time to stay with my grandparents. I miss them all the time and they always tell me to visit them when I have the time. My grandma will cook the delicious food for me. Second, I want to read some books I like, such as the fiction books. I don’t have much time to read fiction books because I have to focus on my study. My summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable.I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays.It is very beautiful there.There are green plants,clear rivers,lovely animals and kind people.I spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there.I wrote down what happened in my diary every day.

How I Spent My Summer Vacation

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

Here comes the summer holiday, I have planned a busy schedule on it.

This summer, I had some special days. I joined Dongzhou International Educational Exchange Summer Camp.

First, I will tell you about our foreign teachers, they are Shrina and Rebecca. They are friendly and beautiful. They are students at Oxford University.

We talked about many things: famous people, subjects in England, different jobs, our deal days, western star signs, what can we say in a restaurant and so on.

We tried to write a letter to Principal Zhang. We made a play and we drew our own comics and tried to sell it. We gave some other students English lessons, we taught them about Chinese Dragon, Chinese Martial Arts and the Olympics.

Every afternoon, we played exciting games: Chinese Whispers, Tongue Twisters, Wheelbarrow, egg and spoon, three legs…

On the last day, we had a good time. We made black tea. We put tea bags, some milk and lots of water in to a big bowl, and then we stirred the tea until it became red and dark. Oh, it tasted good! Later, we used eggs, flour and milk to make many pancakes. To cook them is very interesting. When we finished it, the pancakes looked round and nice. We put some jam on it. How delicious! I won’t ever forget it.

The summer Camp is a really good chance for me. I know the local things in England. I learned a lot and like English more. I also know better ways to learn English well.

Summer vacation, my mother and I came to the beautiful coastal city -

Dalian.

When we came to Dalian, we took the big bus of travel agency. Under the

guidance of the guide, we came to visit the "sea world of Saint Asia". I heard

that there are more than 300 kinds of marine fish in the museum. Ive long

wanted to open my eyes.
