最近我读了一则消息说在日本，许多商人向顾客出售新鲜空气，现在这种情况越演越烈。为什么呢? 因为在日本新鲜空气越来越少，在美国也是如此。

事实上，环境污染是整个世界正在面临的一个严重问题。这主要是由于人造物质，工业生产过程中所产生的废料以及消费商品的增长造成的。另外，在农业中使用化学物品也造成了环境污染。看看天空，你可以看到浓烟从高大的烟囱中释放出来，这些脏而有毒的物质流入我们赖以饮水的河流，数百万吨废物正堆积在我们周围。 中国大学排名

怎样改变这种状况呢？越来越多的国家正在试图拟定出一些有效措施控制环境污染，但至今成效不大。

白色污染是世界上十大污染之一。但是，这些重大的污染也是人造成的。生活中人们为了方便，而大量的使用垃圾袋，用完后又随地乱扔，这便成了重大的污染源。平时只要狂风一刮，这些白色垃圾就随处飘舞。生活中白色垃圾随处可见，我们可以在街道上看到它，公路、铁路的两旁、村庄的附近随处可看到它们的身影，在菜场经常看到人们在使用它们，而地上也随处扔着这些白色垃圾，在超市、商场里用得就更多了!为了我们的地球，为了我们人类，因此我们要少用这些垃圾袋。

在我的家乡有一条小河——百二河，十几年前，这里河水清清，河里有小鱼、小虾、青蛙，那时人们经常下河去洗菜、洗衣服。几年后，随着十堰经济的发展，城市越来大，工厂也越来越多，而百二河也再没有往日的景象了，小河里的水开始越来越浑浊，后来变得臭气熏天，河里再也见不到小鱼、小虾的身影了，青蛙也不知跑到哪逃命了。

河两旁的垃圾随处可见并发出难闻的气味，当人们从桥上经过，人们不得不用手把鼻子住，这时，如果再有一阵风吹来，河道两旁的垃圾就随风四处乱飘，有时候它会飘到你脸上，让你寻找不到方向。河面上苍蝇更是满天飞舞，如果你这时拎有好吃的被它发现，它就会紧跟着你非想美食一顿，这时，你会非常扫兴。

几年后，十堰市政府开始关注百二河的环境，并加大治理力度，政府下拔很多资金请工人把河里的垃圾清掉，并修建了水渠，在河的两旁还种上了草和树，政府还停办了一些排放污水的工厂，为民防止人们再破坏我们美丽的家园。

为了杜绝以前的情况再次发生，政府还派专人负责清理这里每天发生的生活垃圾。这样，这里的环境大大地改善了。在今后，我希望百二河的水变得越来越清澈、明亮，那时，河里小鱼自由自在地玩耍，小鸟在树上欢声笑语。

同学们，为了我们美丽的地球再资呈现昔日的光彩，为了动物的家园，更为了我们自己，希望我们每个人都做到不用塑料餐盒，拒绝使用一次性筷子，为了我们的家园，赶快行动起来吧!

Everyone can do something for our environment. For me, I should try to save electricity in my daily life. For example, if I am the last person leave the classroom in the evening, I will always remember to turn off the lights. In order to protect our forests, I will use paper wisely. I should try to use both sides of paper whenever it is possible. I will not use things like paper cups and disposable chopsticks because they are made of wood. I believe that doing all these small things will improve our environment and help make our world a better place to live in.

环境的污染和破坏，对人们的身体健康影响很大。儿童时期是人一生中生长发育的初始阶段，身体各部分器官还未成熟，环境污染对孩子们健康肌体的损害就更加严重。空气污染主要来自燃料的燃烧、工业生产过程和汽车废气。科学家们测算，烧1吨煤要排放20-80公斤烟尘，炼1吨钢要产生60立方米烟尘，汽车跑1小时要排出40-100立方米废气，它们都严重地污染了空气。

污染了的空气中含有灰尘、一氧化碳、二氧化硫及各种有毒有害物质，侵入孩子的呼吸；系统可引起感冒、鼻炎、哮喘等疾病，而且，还会影响嗅觉和呼吸功能。据沈阳市有关部门测定，生活在重污染区的孩子有20%嗅觉迟钝〈在清洁区只占5%〉；有45．1%的孩子鼻粘膜充血，并经常有鼻涕流出；有9．8%的孩子眼晴长期红肿，经常流眼泪（在轻污染区只有16%的孩子鼻粘膜充血和1%的孩子眼睛发炎）。

汽车废气中含有铅物质。据统计，全世界现在每年从汽车排出的废气中所含的铅达40多万吨，这些含铅的废气（烧基铅）也威胁着少年儿童的健康。烧基铅最容易随空气进入孩子们的呼吸道，虽然每次吸入的含铅废气是微量的，但由于它们是蓄积性毒物，毒性较大，故对儿童危害较大。经科学研究表明，微量的铅污染，就足以使孩子们的身体和智力受到损害，推迟大脑发育或诱发急性脑症。恶臭污染也严重地危害着孩子们的健康。恶臭主要来自化工肥料、造纸、制革等工厂在生产过程中排放的废气。另外，由于一些人的社会公德和环境意识差，不讲究卫生，随地大小便，以及乱丢的果皮和乱倒的垃圾，都会产生恶臭气体。人们生活在恶臭的环境中，会出现恶心、头痛、疲劳等症状。水是人类生命的源泉，水的污染对儿童身体健康危害极大。随着现代工jk的发展和人口的不断增长，水的污染日趋严重。工业污水和生活污水中的有毒有害物质，经过多种途径污染着地面水和地下水，而农药和工业废气、废渣中的有害物质，经雨水的冲刷溶解，也污染了水源。少年儿童饮用了污水后，会引起急性或慢性中毒，以致影响身体发育。饮水中氟含量大时，会得氟骨症、牙齿松脱症。电镀废水中含有很多有毒物质，如未经处理就排入水中，它的危害性极大。饮用水被肠道致病菌污染后，会引起霍乱、伤寒、肝炎等疾病的流行。

噪声对少年儿童的健康危害极大。生活在城市里，喇叭声、撞击声、轰鸣声、爆裂声、吵闹声以及电视机、收录机等家用电器发出的噪音都会影响孩子们的身体健康。噪音在当今世界上的很多国家，都已成为公害之首。噪音可以使人头痛、昏晕、智力衰退。受噪音影响的时间长了，还可能引起心血管系统的疾病，有时会使血压升高，甚至使人发疯。

据调查，在美国洛杉矶国际机场附近上小学的儿童，每天都听到喷气式飞机起飞和降落的噪音，因而普遍患有持续的高血压症。

我国的环境专家曾对居住在某铁路边的青少年进行过心脏和脑神经健康状况的检查，然后通过电子计算机进行分析，证明噪音会损伤心脏，噪音也会影响儿童的智力发育，吵闹区的儿童智力比安静区低20%，长期生活在铁路旁受噪音影响的青少年儿童健康的危害已经引起全社会的关注。

Living in a city has both advantages and disadvantages. It is often easier to find work. There are always many choices of public transport. Besides, there are a lot of interesting things to do and places to see. You can eat in good restaurants, visit museums, go to cinemas and go to parks whenever you want to relax. However, living in a city is often very expensive. You must find a well-paid job, otherwise, you will not be able to afford the things you will do. Whats more, the city is always crowded, noisy and dirty. It is very difficult to find a good place where people can enjoy peace and fresh air as in the countryside.
