While there are many versions of the origins and old customs of Halloween, some remain consistent by all accounts. Different cultures view Holloween somewhat differently but traditional Halloween practices remain the same.

Halloween culture can be traced back to the Druids, a Celtic culture in Ireland, Britain and Northern Europe. Roots lay in the feast of Samhain, which was annually on October 31st to honor the dead.

Today is the first day that we start our summer camp.Everybody is amazed at the foreign teacher.They have white skin,yellow hair,blue eyes……But no one is very beautiful or handsome.

My Eddweiss

Eddwiss,edelweiss,every morning you grate me,small and white ,clean and bright.

You must have heard of this song.Do you look for edelweiss?I found it.In winter,I went to the mountain.I found a small edelweiss blossoming among grass.It had pure white.I endulged in the beautiful scenery.Edelweiss is like an angel,it is dancing and smiling to me.The next day I went to see it.I cannot forget that small edelwiess.

Some people think that keeping pets is a good thing. They say that it is an

hobby which should had. They also claim that pets make lives more colorful and

entertaining for both women and men.

有些人认为养宠物是一件美好的事情。他们说，(养宠物)是一个应该拥有的爱好。他们也声称养宠物可以使生活更加多彩，并给男人和女人带来更多趣味。

On the other hand, there are many people who say that pets should be

banned. They point out that pets are responsible for disease which hurt

property, and for injuries suffered both by the people who kept them and by

innocent other people. They also say that pets are a waste of money and

resources.

另一方面，也有很多人说应该禁止养宠物。他们指出宠物是造成伤害(身体)性能的疾病的原因，并且会使养宠物的人和其他无辜的人受伤。他们也说，养宠物是一个浪费钱和资源(的事)。

My own point of view is that we should had the hobby of keeping pets. While

at the same time making them harmless. In addition, we should restrict the

keeping the pets to some area.

我的观点是我们应该有养宠物的爱好。尽管(我们)同时要使它们少受伤害。另外，我们应该禁止在某些区域内养宠物。

理想是江河中的航标，是风浪中的小船所想到达的彼岸，是每个人一辈子追求的目标，有了理想生活才有了方向，学习才有了动力，人生才有了价值。理想其实理想并不那么神秘，那么遥不可及，他就在我们身边，就在我们手中，我的理想就是成为一名厨师。

说起我想当一名厨师，由来可大了，是生活中的美食使我和它结下了不解之缘。小时候，妈妈做饭时，都叫我给他打下手，洗菜、剥葱蒜，每次看到妈妈围着围裙，一手拿着锅铲，一手扶着锅，不停的铲呀铲，翻呀翻，好不神气，吃着美味的菜肴更是萌生了当大厨的愿望。在我三岁时，妈妈感冒病重，我自作主张给妈妈煮了一碗面条，虽然不美味，但妈妈很感动，吃的也很香。

等我长大一些时，妈妈也尝试让我自己做饭、炒菜，我的水平也进步了，已可以独立做家常饭菜了。也羡慕大饭店的厨师身穿白衣服，头戴高耸的白帽，熟练的抖动炒菜锅，菜也在锅里均匀翻动的情景。我暗暗发誓：我要在广阔的世界中体验生活，慢慢的在心中孕育属于自己的乐趣，再把体验中的灵感融入到饭菜中，有酸、有甜、有苦、有辣，这边充满生活的味道，我要让人们造冰天雪地中感到一股暖流，在炎炎夏日中感到沁人心脾的凉爽。
