踏着沉重的步伐，我来到了学校，待上课铃声响起时，一场恶战要开始了。

一天的学习时光过得飞快，转眼间就放学了。我心惊胆战，时时刻刻不在想怎么编织这邪恶的谎言。

到家了，我沉重的开了门。对妈妈说：“妈妈，我今天考试95分！”可妈妈却冷着脸说：“噢，那你数学老师怎么跟我讨论了一下你的不及格？”妈妈怒视着我，浑身颤抖着，我知道，她生气了！我突然害怕的愣在门旁，甚至像别人一棒子就可以打散的骨头一样。我的双腿害怕的发颤，就连头也控制不住的摇。好像这样摇颤就能转移母亲生气的注视。

我小心翼翼的走到妈妈面前，把整个过程吞吞吐吐但一字不落的说了出来，妈妈拍了拍我的肩膀，说到“这次暂且原谅，每个人都会犯错，我看你以后表现！”那一刻，我既羞愧又难堪，自己的谎言像一张纸一般的脆弱，一下子就被捅破。

每个人都会犯错，关键是我们要及时认识错误。我低着头，面红耳赤，泣不成声，任泪水洗去我的“肮脏”也打自内心发誓，再也不会欺骗任何人，再也不会……

我独自走在空旷的小路上，茸茸的雪花不知趣的打在我的脸上，北风在我耳边肆虐着，连昔日挺拔的白杨，也弯着腰痛苦地呻吟，回想起刚发生的事，我就愤愤不己。

为了给我准备充足的学费，年年都去打工。她每天踏着晨雾，在纺织车间迎来，又踏着夕阳，送走了多少个火红的夕阳西下。一天就这样站着连续干十几个小时，心里还得专心致志地不停地数转数、拨花。稍有分心，就会织错，必须返工，直到织对为止。这样一干就是几个月。母亲的单调而有规律：吃饭、睡觉、干活，她就在这的风雨轮替中，和着纺纱机器的节奏，奏响了我生命拔节的乐章。

母亲每一次去挣钱，便和我有个约定，回来给我带回些学习上、生活上的物品，不论价格多少，那都是一份情意。这次母亲呆了两个月后，给我打电话，问我今年最需要。我一向懂事，只向母亲要了一本书，我还特别叮嘱母亲，千万不能忘记。一想到就要从远方归来了，我坐在温馨的夜色里，一闭上眼睛，似乎就在书海里畅游。

母亲从乌鲁木齐回来了，那飘然而至的身影使我阵阵温暖，欣喜异常的我在母亲拎着走入家门时，就激动不已地说：“妈妈，我的呢？”，母亲的笑容凝固了，充满歉意地说：“妈妈忘记了，下次妈妈一定给你带来。”母亲的闪烁其词，似在逃避什么。顿时，我的坠入冰谷如一堆乱麻，烦恼难以解脱。我气呼呼地说：“你这个信口开河、口是心非的大坏蛋！母亲也发火了，满脸怒气地说：“平时看你挺机灵的，怎么今天一点儿也不懂事？

我再也受不了了，一怒之下跑向门外。雪花踉踉跄跄地纷扬着，北风疲乏无力地逃出田野，白杨神色忧郁地抬起头，一切是如此地悲凉。我满腹委屈，明明是母亲做错了事，为什么还要欺骗我，不想买，嫌麻烦，年初还给我打电话，为什么不早说！平时还教我不撒谎，不骗人，今天真是口是心非。我最期待的那一刻，成了最伤心的。我越想越不平衡，又奔回家，找母亲去说理。

跨进院子时，传来了母亲和父亲的声音。

“唉，金融危机、全球变暖，毛衣销量一少，今年没有挣上钱。”

“回来就好，没有挣上钱，就自己挣呀，好日子还在后头呢。”

父母说到这儿，我的心突然惊醒了！是的，我确实有点小题大做，不理解母亲的苦心。此时，我突然发现自己好傻，长这么大了，这点事也看不出来。我越来越内疚。没有母亲的辛勤劳作，哪有我的自由飞翔，我哪能飞得这么高这么远呢。

我轻轻地走进房间，母亲正在沙发上发呆。我哽咽地向母亲说了声对不起，便悄悄地回到自己的房间。

过了一段，一天我突然发现自己的书桌上有四本初中书，正在纳闷时，我发现最上面一本作文书中夹了一个小线条：购于伊犁书店，即日送到，不知礼物如何？是否开心？下面的落款：妈妈。看完，我心里不知如何是好，兴奋极了，思绪弥漫飘忽的芳香。突然想起了一首歌《世上只有妈妈好》。我禁不住轻声唱着：“世上只有妈妈好，有妈的孩子像个宝……”

向窗外望去，高高的雪山上，雪花晶莹、透亮，犹如吐絮的棉朵，千朵、万朵，纯白、晶亮，在闪烁，在向我微笑。

Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for taking the time to write your wonderful letter in support of MCEA (Maywood Chinese Education Association). Your letter clearly articulates all the major reasons children in Maywood will benefit from studying the Chinese language as part of their elementary school education. It provides invaluable support that will help making bilingual Chinese education a reality in Maywood public schools.

Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest. Nevertheless, MCEA, with more than 70 members, will continue to actively promote bilingual Chinese education in the Palo Alto public schools and will keep you apprised of the progress we make.

Thanks again for sending a letter in support of MCEA. We will continue to do all we can to realize this program both for families of Chinese descent and those with a general interest in participating in the growing economic power of China.
