Spring Festival ,known as the Chinese New Year, is the most important holiday in China. From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy preparing for the New Year. They clean their houses ,have their hair cut,and buy new clothes. Jiaozi or dumpling is most popular. To those who live far away from their home,this festival is also a framily reunion occasion.

And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family. The first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends adn wish each other good luck in the new year.

Yesterday was my birthday， so some of my classmates sent me presents。

Mother prepared a tea party for me。 I invited all of them to e and take part in

it。The tea party began at half past six。 There were cold drinks and

refreshments。 We ate， talked and laughed。 We felt that we were the happest men

in the world。

终于到了周日回校那天，同学们都在热烈的讨论着明天的考试。这个晚上，我脑子里全装着明天的考试，特别紧张。试卷上会有什么题，我有没有复习到，作文的题材是什么……我带着忐忑与不安，迷迷糊糊地进入梦乡。这个晚上必然是睡不好的。

果然，我起晚了!我手忙脚乱的做完内务，然后飞奔进了教室，不，应该是考场!我平静下心情后，把握十足的开始了考试。我唰唰地做完了前面的题目，当我碰到一道连线题时，心想：这么简单的题目，我秒秒钟写完!我信心十足的把手伸向了笔袋，但我没有找到尺子!一定是落在家里了!我紧张极了，额头上不断冒出豆大的汗珠。一想到工整的试卷上，突然出现几条歪歪斜斜的线时，改卷老师糟糕的表情，咦，想想都一身冷汗。现在，平常中如此简单的交试卷，在我眼里变得异常困难。我试着遮住乱七八糟的连线题，立刻冲上讲台放好试卷就走。

接下来的几天，我时常坐立不安。担心着试卷上那条斜线。好像这晴朗的一周在我的眼里成了黑色的，天空压得我喘不过气来。这讨厌的黑色的一周。不出我所料，这次的考试考砸了。

这次事件，仿佛是个梦，一个恶梦。它让我无法在家长和老师、同学面前抬头。但也警醒了我，我已经长大了，不能再丢三落四了!这是个深刻的教训!不能在让那讨厌的黑色心情进入到我的世界了!

今天早上的英语课上老师不一样了，在这个时候就会有人需要注意了，因为在这个时候的人大多数就是玩手机和睡觉的，因为我们需要回答问题！

老师在今天早上突然之间不知怎么回事就让我们回答问题，让我们在这个时候就有一些难以接受，而且我们也不好意思说一句不会，因此在这个时候就需要努力对待了！我和大家原本是一样的，也属于在这个时候玩手机的人，可是没有想到的是老师让人回答问题的时候会站在面前，根本就不得不认真负责，而且她总是在这里来回转悠着，因此过来的时候就不得不注意了，而不知怎么回事，今天早上回答问题的人大多数就在我们旁边，因此在这个时候就需要小心谨慎，而且她让我们一起翻译，而由于我们根本没有仔细阅读，根本就不会翻译，因此我们几个人在这个时候就用手机百度了一下，不过这节课的翻译一下子就出现了，而我们在这个时候就需要努力看看就可以了。

老师多次在我们这里问答，在这个时候就需要认真对待了，而且由于老师在我们旁边，根本就没有人在这个时候还不认真负责，因为一下子就会轮到我们了，当该我的时候属于突然发生的情况，不过由于我这个人在这个时候看了一下，在这个时候还是有一些印象的，而且我的舍友在这个时候还是打辅助的人，我还得到了这个人的帮助！

Everybody wishes (hopes) to get money so that he can maintain his

livelihood。 In other words， money is so useful that it is impossible for mankind

to live without it。 For this reason， we have an interesting proverb。 It says

“Money can make the world go around。” In a word， money is more powerful than

anything else。

However， money should not be wasted。 It must be used for (some) proper

purposes。 We young men should form the good habit of not spending money in the

wrong way。

I met a girl called Sue on the Intemet.We are of the same age.And we talked

happily with each other. So we decided to write to each other daily, of course

through e-mail.We can write down what we feel and what we think and then forward

to each other.We also try to write in English. She once lived in the United

States with her parents, so she can speak native English.In this way, we are

getting closer and closer. And furthermore both of our English has improved

quickly and greatly.How nice it is to have a "pen pal" !

I have rested for a week。 I began to feel bored。 So I went out with my friends。 They are my best friends in the middle school。 We didn’t go to someplace special。 We just saw the other。 We had lunch together。 While we were having lunch， we were still talking about the new school and new friends。 Yes! A year later， we have grown riper。 And we learned much more things and got new life。 We haven’t enough time to play， to waste and to lose the way。 We only have two years。 Two years to go， we will get the real life which belongs to us。

今天，我们依然军训，累是少不了的，教官也是挺累的，我们歇着，可教官还在训练同学跑步，挺累的。

吃过饭之后，我们去开水房接了一杯水，在楼梯上聊天，我们聊一些大家都会常问的话语，比如：你原先在哪上学?是公立的还是私立的?……虽然有些寒酸，但毕竟是大家刚刚认识，都还不太熟悉。突然有一位同学看到了一只虫，就是因为这只虫，气氛很快就活跃起来。哨子响了，教官喊四班集合了，我们便停止了谈话，去站队了。

到了篮球场，又与往常一样，我们站军姿，仅仅只站了20分钟，却已经把我累着了，累得我肩痛胳膊酸，腿痛膝盖痛。我想起了在边疆守卫的战士们，在天安门前走过的精兵们，他们那规规矩矩场面的背后，是有多少的辛酸与痛苦，又有多少的刻苦与汗水，所以我们不能够像一只慢吞吞的缩头乌龟，我们应该像一只小兔子，不论做什么都应该面对克服。

再过两天半，我们要告别这段难忘的日子，告别这段时间训练我们的教官。军训过后，我们一定要告别小学时懦弱的我们，做一名比合格更合格的高中生!

If I have a lot of money, I will have the chance to do what I want to do.

First I’ll travel around the world, because I love traveling, and then I’ll give some money to schools and charities. I’ll try my best to help the people who are in trouble. I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my

friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to

someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were

having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends.

经过初一的十个星期的学习，也学习到了一些知识。不说很多，但就应也比原先多了许多了。当然，不用我说，你们也许已经猜到我要写什么了吧——期中考试。然而，才经历了小学六年纪毕业考完的我来说：恐惧环绕心头啊!为什么呢?你们就仔细看吧!

来到新学校刚满十个星期，对于我们新生来说，不是才刚开始吗?怎样就考试了呢!我想，是因为来到一个新的环境，此刻才适应的吧，所以当然觉得才是中学学习的开端咯!但是，听我的老师说：中学的期中考试，可不像小学那么简单，好象比小学的毕业考试还严那么一点点吧!

我听后，下巴好久才合拢：我的妈呀，比毕业考试还严啊!唉，完了完了完了!我的留意脏哪受得了啊，我看是要爆炸了吧!

但是。哼，我是谁啊!我怎样会怕呢!就像人家别人说的一样：只要笑一笑，没什么事情过不了啊!我，不怕不怕啦!因为我学的还是不错的啊!

在考试中，我似乎忘记了我在考试，像平时测验一样，根本就不紧张。到等我做完考试题后的一小会，才想起来我是在考试。至于我怎样就不紧张呢?哈哈，就处于我心理承受潜力比较强咯。而在做难的、我不会做的，才明白我并没有学的滚瓜烂熟，就应在深入的学习一下吧!

在我考完试后，我学会了很多：考试不必须要弄得自己紧张的不得了，就应敞开自己的心，冷静的去适应，去努力的适应，这才是考试的最佳心理状态。

在那里，我也要告诉许多对考试害怕的朋友们：考试，并不是有我们想象中的那么可怕!就应正确的看待，就把考试理解为是对半个学期的一次总结，检验自己是否学得是我们想的那么好!如果是，就就应再次努力了;如果不是的话，那朋友，你就要赶快努力咯!

Qingming Festival, also known as Pure Brightness Festival or Tomb-sweeping Day, is one of the 24 segments of the Chinese calendar. It normally falls on the 4th or 5th of April, between spring plowing and summer weeding, and is a time to pay respects to ones ancestors and to tidy their gravesite. On this day, whole families, young and old, go to the gravesite of deceased family members to burn incense and perform a ritual offering while clearing away plant overgrowth from the gravesite.

Qingming Festival is when Chinese people visit the graves or burial grounds of their ancestors. Traditionally, people brought a whole rooster with them to the graves visited but the occasion has become less formal over time. The festival originated from Hanshi Day (寒食节, literally, Day with cold food only), a memorial day for Jie Zitui (介子推). Jie Zitui died in 636 BC in the Spring and Autumn Period. He was one of many followers of Duke Wen of Jin before he became a duke.

Once, during Wens 19 years of exile, they had no food and Jie prepared some meat soup for Wen. Wen enjoyed it a lot and wondered where Jie had obtained the soup. It turned out Jie had cut a piece of meat from his own thigh to make the soup. Wen was so moved he promised to reward him one day. However, Jie was not the type of person who sought rewards. Instead, he just wanted to help Wen to return to Jin to become king.

Once Wen became duke, Jie resigned and stayed away from him. Duke Wen rewarded the people who helped him in the decades, but for some reason he forgot to reward Jie, who by then had moved into the forest with his mother. Duke Wen went to the forest, but could not find Jie. Heeding suggestions from his officials, Duke Wen ordered men to set the forest on fire to force out Jie. However, Jie died in the fire. Feeling remorseful, Duke Wen ordered three days without fire to honour Jies memory. The county where Jie died is still called Jiexiu (介休, literally "the place Jie rests forever").

Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to

it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my

country.I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my

teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock.After

school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’clock.Then I

begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.

Xiaomei and I went out this morning. We went to the city centre. We went

window shopping, and then we had lunch at the restaurant. We didnt buy anything

as we didnt have much money, but we still had a wonderful time.

万事开头难嘛。在这个最严厉的教官的指导下，我们已经不知不觉比别人一步，每当休息的时候看到其他班不尽人意的训练，心里早就没了那份不堪，竟洋洋得意起来。

最苦最累的是在开饭前的20分钟站军姿，汗水像不要钱似的往下淌，从未感觉20分钟有多漫长，脚跟也站痛了，腰杆也站麻了，教官的身影像鬼魅一般，悄无声息地出现在面前。

但当总教官吹响下课的哨音时，我还是觉得他挺可爱的。

总之，苦尽甘来，我想今晚可以做个好梦吧。

期末考试的前一天晚上，奶奶做了很多好吃的，饭桌上，爸爸妈妈不失时机地对我轮番“轰炸”。妈妈说：“明天的语文考试作文一定要写完，前面基础部分要写快点，好留点时间后面检查。”爸爸说：“考试时认真点，要多检查。”听得我脑袋都爆炸了。心想：“真麻烦，用得着说这么多嘛!”

考试结束后，我感觉良好。因为语文的作文写完了，还留了一些时间检查。数学好像也没遇到难题。心想：这回数学考个九十九应该没有问题，语文嘛，应该比平常会好一点，至少不会太差。

发试卷那天，看到我的成绩：数学九十五分，语文九十四分，脑子一下懵了，不敢相信这是真的。仔细检查了扣分的地方，才发现有些是因为题目看漏了;有些是因为题目看错了;还有些则是因为写了错别字;数学的错误则全是因为计算的粗心。所有的错误全是一些不应该的扣分。那一刻我的肠子都悔青了!真后悔当初没有听爸爸妈妈的叮嘱。假如当初做题时能认真一点，检查时能仔细一点，或许就不会考得那么差了。

唉，我好后悔!以后我一定要吸取教训，不能再大意失荆州了!

教师节来了，您不是演员，却吸引着我们饥渴的目光;您不是歌唱家，却让知识的清泉叮咚作响，唱出迷人的歌曲;您不是雕塑家，却塑造着一批批青年人的灵魂。老师啊，我怎能把您遗忘!
